In anticipation of beginning SilvaShado's 2014 Challenge: Play 10 Games 10 Times Each, I thought I would take a look at my fives and dimes over the years that I have logged plays. My logging has always been sporadic - I've never been able to consistently log every play over the course of a year, but I've had years that I've come close.

2007 - 16 dimes and 41 fives
2008 - 10 dimes and 39 fives
2009 - 3 dimes and 18 fives
2010 - 7 dimes and 21 fives
2011 - 9 dimes and 26 fives
2012 - 2 dimes and 7 fives
2013 - 5 dimes and 13 fives

2007 was the first year I started logging plays. Since I was just leaping into boardgaming after a decade of dabbling of playing only a handful of euros (Settlers, Dampfross, El Grande and Tikal), my collection was reasonably small and a lot of games got multiple plays.

Hive ended up being the most number of plays, but with it's short play time and the propensity for playing it multiple times in a sitting, I don't think it dominated my gaming experience for the year.

Here are my fives and dimes for 2007:

2012 probably needs to be taken with a grain of salt, as my logging of games left much to be desired. We spent 6 months traveling through Europe with only a handful of games - Dominion, Agricola, Ligretto, Tiki Topple, Tarot, etc. and several of those got more play than is shown here. Through it all, Agricola maintains it's top spot. Stefan Feld finally gets to be the cover boy as runner-up after many games on these lists.

Here's what the stats say:
Agricola 12
Trajan 11

7 Wonders 6
At the Gates of Loyang 6
Dominion 6
Last Will 6
Strasbourg 6
The City 5
Tichu 5
