This is my first Geeklist! It's a list of games that I'm keeping an eye on in 2014. Some I have already pre-ordered or backed on Kickstarter (KS), but others I'm just trying to keep track of to see how others enjoy them first.

1I make a fair amount of reference to Tyler. He's my boyfriend (moui) and we buy a lot of our games based on how likely it is that we will both enjoy them to some extent.

Though there's not a lot of information yet about the game, I like the artstyle and I've the co-developers Eric Lang and Kevin Wilson should be a solid team. Looking forward to more information about this game.

Tyler and I have been getting into worker placement games. I like them, he loves them; he likes anime-style themes, I love them; we both love games with strong theme. With those powers combined, this was a no-brainer KS backing. We're really looking forward to this one.

I've been hearing a lot of on and off buzz about this game, and from what I hear I'm very intrigued! Co-op and story-telling are my top two most-loved game mechanics, and this will certainly contain them. Hoping this will make it out this year. Time will tell!

I've only had great experiences with Plaid Hat Games (I love Summoner Wars and Mice and Mystics), and the premise for Dead of Winter seems awesome. Pre-ordered and greatly anticipating release.

This was a game I backed on KS partially due to my boyfriend's suggestion. I'm not a huge sci-fi fan (he is), but I love co-op games, I like miniatures, and I've only heard great things about Greater Than Games. Looking forward to seeing how it plays (though I haven't heard a word since it was pushed back to February).

Definitely at least in my top 3 of anticipated games this year. I love co-op games, I love miniatures games, I love asian themes, and I've always been intrigued by the story of Journey to the West. This was a no-brainer KS backing for me.

We backed for the base game, first expansion, and the cleanser/soul hunter pack. Very, very excited for this one and can't wait to paint those minis.

I like Legendary (the Marvel Deck-building game). Tyler loves it (he loves superheroes). This appears to be a rehash with the Alien theme. I can't say I'm much of a huge Alien fan, but it will be interesting to see if there's any difference between this game and Legendary.

I considered multiple times backing Myth, but in the end I decided I wasn't sure enough that it was my kind of game to put that much money in. It has co-op, it has miniatures, but gameplay turns seemed very involved to me. I'll be curious to see how backers like it when they start getting it, as well as how difficult it will be to get into it for people who didn't back the game. Backers are receiving about a ton's worth of extra minis, so I'm wondering if non-backers will feel the price is too prohibitive to get on board with it late.

Backed this small card/dice game on KS. Was surprised it didn't get more love, as the mechanics seemed solid and the art, in my opinion, is quite gorgeous.

Looking forward to playing it with our strange mixture of light gamer/heavy gamer friends.

Pandemic was one of our very first co-op games, and it's one we pull out again and again to introduce our friends to this esoteric hobby called "board gaming." That being said, it's not one we pull out when it's just us or with friends that are also board gamers. We love dice games, though, and I'm interested in seeing how Pandemic will work as a dice game.

I think out of all the games we own, Pathfinder ACG: RotR is either number one or two (the other game is LotR: the Card game) for bang for our buck. We've played the bejebus out of RotR and eat up every new adventure pack as soon as we get it.

So, when it was announced that another base set, this time Skulls and Shackles, would be coming out next Gen Con, I nearly jumped for joy. Also, a new adventure pack every month? Oh, man. Greatly, greatly looking forward to this.

We enjoy head-to-head battle games, and this one looks solid. I love the little 8-bit style art and the fact that position in the ranks changes the unit's ability. Preordered both Pixel Tactics and Pixel Tactics 2; hoping they'll come in stock soon so we can play!

Looked very interesting, but ultimately decided to wait to see how it's received. Not a huge zombie board game fan, so that was a huge contributing factor to this decision.

Looks quite interesting, and thought about backing this on KS when it was out; however, pledging for both games was a little steep considering my enthusiasm level for the game(s). I'll be interesting in seeing how people like it.

I love the Witcher games (the Witcher 2 is one of my favorite video games of all time), and Ignacy Trzewiczek is without a doubt a very strong designer. Greatly looking forward to this. May pre-order.

I've only heard great things about this game, but I was quite sad several months ago when I found out it was out of print. Happily, however, it wasn't long after that when I heard a Kickstarter was going live for a reprint. Quickly backed it and I'm impatiently waiting February!
