Asara is a beautiful game about building towers out of bases, roofs and mid-pieces. Fairly light, plays 2-4 in about 45 minutes, with elements of worker placement and hand management (your hand determines what actions you have available).

This is a Feld game I'd like to try out. It's visually stunning and the mechanics are sound. A dice as worker placement game with a point salad of set collection where you need to balance power with accessibility in order to win.

I tend to enjoy Feld games more in theory than in practice and this one certainly appeals to me.

A medium-weight game that plays 2-4 (more is better) in about 90 minutes.

This is one I wouldn't mind trying out. It's a game about building monuments in Egypt with an interesting worker placement mechanism. Players place their pawns along the Nile river, but they must play them below their previously placed pawns. So you can race ahead and block others from important spots, but that also blocks off earlier spots from you. Otherwise it's the typical gather food, feed workers and gather resources to build monuments for points.

Plays 2-4 in the 60-90 minute range.

As Stonemaier Games are gearing up to start their kickstarter project of the 2nd Edition of Viticulture and a new Tuscany expansion towards the end of the month, I'll be open to teaching this game throughout the weekend.

It was Stonemaier's second KS game and I'll bring along my KS edition of it.

Edit: Euphoria is a dice as worker placement style game set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian setting. It is a sandbox style of game where player interaction plays a crucial role. You have to carefully manage your needs while not helping other players with their goals too much - and the easiest way for you to get points is also the easiest way to give other points - communally building markets. You also have to balance having more workers to have more actions (potentially) with the risk of losing them due to high rolls. The first person to 10 points wins.

It is a medium (to heavy) weight euro-game that plays 2-6 (ideally 3-5) in about 60-90 minutes.

I've had this one for a bit but have never gotten it to the table. Would like to try a 4 player run-through.

A small(ish) card game about ship trading between the old and new world. Gather resources, trade and build developments to work your way up to being the wealthiest sea merchant. It has an interesting trade mechanism where you must place some of your resources up for trade which other players then collect (and you collect some of theirs too), so hand management is a key part to being successful.

It's a lighter game that plays 2-6 (3/4 is best) in about 45 minutes.

Would like to get a 4 player game in. The rules for this game are really straightforward, so I wouldn't mind teaching a couple new/inexperienced players.

Would like to get a ~4 player game in with some players who are either experienced or fairly familiar with the game.

This is another beauty of a game which I'd love to try. It has this super cute book mechanic where you flip through cards like pages in a book to determine quests and equipment that you can get.

It's a light pick-up and deliver game where the players are adventurers trying to collect gems from around the Valley of Gold. It plays 3-5 in about 60 minutes and it has my name in it, so you know it's got to be good, right?

As Stonemaier Games are gearing up to start their kickstarter project of the 2nd Edition of Viticulture and a new Tuscany expansion towards the end of the month, I'll be open to teaching this game throughout the weekend.

Edit: Viticulture is a worker placement type of game where you are trying to manage and run a successful wine farm. The interesting dynamic is that the game has two seasons for worker placement, and you have to split your workforce between those seasons - also the first one to take an action typically gets a bonus too. It's a race to get the most VP's (20 triggers the end game) and the game flows in a 3-step process - harvest vines for grapes (requires that you have vines in your field), crush grapes to make wine, sell wine to fulfill orders and make points.

It's a lighter game that plays 2-6 (3/4 is best) in about 60-90 minutes.
