Ok. Well, I am back in the thick of it now. This list represents about the last 6 weeks of painting.

Last list, I finally finished my copy of Star Wars: The Queen's Gambit. I actually had a pretty hard time getting through that game. I was daunted by the fact of 'having' to paint something.

It reminds me of when my father used to talk about how he would never paint or draw for money. It killed his muse. I was starting to feel a bit like that last project. Feeling like I had to do it was sometimes even depressing.

Don't get me wrong, I am really thrilled that I finished it, but it was a long project.

Anyway, now my muse is free again and I get to paint whatever I want. To a degree. There are some things, even in this list, that I felt I had to complete.

I digress, enough of my personal complaints and diary (sorry.) On to the list!

If anyone wants to see the other 2000+ minis I painted in the last few years, or want to subscribe to future efforts, you can check it out here.
1nf1n1ty's paint and custom creations subscription list

If you feel like thumbing the list, please do. More people will notice and enjoy it that way.

Thanks for stopping in!

This month, I finished the last of my 3 set (+ one expansion.) This actually, was a pretty easy set to paint. The techniques that they taught worked really well.

On a side note, this is an AMAZING product. I just throw most of this stuff in a bag and pour it out on the table. It really is quite indestructible in gaming terms. I gladly bought into the next kickstarter. If you think you have a use for it, you should too. Really awesome product.

Most of what I finished is in this item, but the gold piles are further down.

Dungeon Dressings are one of my favorite things to find when miniature shopping. It is actually pretty hard to find some of these pieces. I was fortunate enough to make a couple of trades with some great BGG users this last month. In them, I was able to get some things that mean a LOT to me.

Here is the beginning of some of the pieces I have to paint.

(last three treasure piles from DF included here)

(some nice unique pieces here. Love the sacrifice alter)

This represents some of my favorite items. Finding books and scrolls like this is a miniature hunters delight!

Another set of amazing items. So thrilled to get these.

These were interesting for me. I did these almost immediately after finishing Queen's Gambit. I was just "I want to be free and paint like 20 guys!" While it isn't 20, it is a fair amount. I can use them as town guards in my D&D games...

On a side note, one of these got denied as a duplicate in GeekMod. They couldn't see the difference.

I usually love painting skeletons. This was the first time I felt daunted since my last project though. I really just tackled too many at once. I had over 30 on my palate and didn't have room to move.

I decided to break them up. I have a dozen or so more I still want to do, but had to take a break from the boned masses.

Still, lots got done!

I picked up a few Kobolds at the FLGS. I also had a small demon that I got somewhere. One can never have enough Kobolds!

Another score from my FLGS.

These are not as easy to find. I think I am up to around 12 of them now. Getting close to how many I could use in a big encounter.

So, one can always use an obsession, right? Custom Cast and Elan Merch are my new ones. I tried my hand at a few halflings I aquired. These are REALLY small. Someday, I will probably do a whole focus on my collection of Custom Cast, but I think I want to get better first.

For now, second breakfast will have to do.

I had fun painting this and was really happy with the results. Unfortunately, I think that I took all my pictures too close to noon and they all seem a bit washed out to me. I need to aim for 4 or so...

Anyway, here is this one:

Here are a couple of later hill giants and a cyclops. They all came out pretty nice, though, the pictures don't pan this out well. I will enjoy terrorizing my son with all of these.

I think I am going to have this elder cyclops as more of a riddle taker than a monster to fight.
