Last year was the first year I documented my annual Nerdfest (NerdFest 2k13), which is basically a small weekend-long gaming con I host at my house. This year I decided, kind of on a whim, that I would be a bit more detailed with my documentation, and that I would keep track of every single game played, who played, who won, and then I went a bit crazy with some of it, which you'll see below

The following users were there:

The other players were:

Kristi - Bill's (DoomTurtle) wife
Heather - My wife
Devon - Jeff's (madiganj) girlfriend
Dave - Jeff's brother
Jesse - Jeff's friend
Josh
Matt - hereafter referred to by his nickname, "Niv"
Kevin
Sarah - My sister-in-law
Danny - My brother-in-law

We had two tables set up for board gaming; one TV solely dedicated to video gaming; while the main TV was split between more video gaming and the NCAA tournament, which admittedly has no place at a NerdFest. cool

I really tried my best to be as detailed as I could. At one point during the fest I thought about taking pictures of everything played. I definitely didn't do a good job at that. Next year will be better, but there will be some pictures scattered throughout this list!

So without further ado, here is a fairly detailed account - to the best of my knowledge and ability - of every game played at this year's NerdFest!!!

The festivities started on Friday, the 21st at around 11am. The first people to arrive were Dave and Alex. We started off by playing one of the few games that Alex really enjoys, which is Legendary. I had just gotten the new Paint the Town Red expansion and so I was completely okay playing this to start.

Here are the details of the game:

We used all five new heroes the expansion came with, which were:

Symbiote Spiderman
Scarlet Spider
Spiderwoman
Moon Knight
Black Cat

We played against Carnage and used the following villains and henchmen:

Villains:
Maximum Carnage
Heralds of Galactus
Sinister Six

Henchmen:
Phalanx

Scheme:
The Close Saga. We lose if two villains with the same title escape. It's a rough one, especially using the Heralds of Galactus, which are incredibly powerful.

We started off the game pretty terribly, drawing a Master Strike, two Scheme Twists, and a Herald of Galactus on the first few turns. I concentrated on building a deck of Scarlet Spider and Symbiote Spiderman, which made me draw a ton of cards. It wasn't working very well at the beginning and the middle-game, and seemed as though we were going to lose pretty horribly and quickly. Things really turned around in just a few turns, however, as each of us were able to launch devastating attacks against Carnage pretty consecutively.

We ended up winning with the final score looking like this:

Alex: 13
Dave: 24
Ryan: 25

The fest started out great for me as I had been on a seriously lengthy streak without a win in any game. All of us were happy!

During the game, Ben showed up, so once we were done with Legendary we played another game that both Ben and Alex (and me, of course) really enjoy...

...and that is Pathfinder Adventure Card Game! Alex, Ben and I have been playing a campaign for a couple of months here and there, and I had also just gotten the fourth adventure pack a couple days prior, so we wanted to make a nice dent in the second adventure pack, so we could work our way through to getting better swag.

So the first game of this we played was the Undead Uprising quest in the Skinsaw Murders adventure. Dave joined in and we had a pretty damn easy time with it. The henchmen were always seeming to be pretty close to the top of each of the decks, and we were able to close a bunch of locations early enough that the blessing deck never really got that low. We finished off the quest in about an hour and really wanted to take our new power feat that we just earned out for a spin. We were feeling cocky.

So onto Crow Bait. Having the henchmen at near the top of each deck in the Undead Uprising quest must have triggered a serious bout of bad karma, because this time we were slogging through each deck, fighting monster after monster; barrier after barrier; item after item, but no henchmen or villain. I kept a close eye on the blessing deck to make sure I let us know how many turns we each had, and three turns left quickly went to one as we had every location finally closed except for two. We knew, with the help of a special ability that Alex had, where the villain was, but we just needed ONE more turn to have someone be able to close the location he was going to inevitably flee to once defeated. We succumbed to the perils of the Crow and died a most gruesome and agonizing death at the hands of time. She makes fools of us all.

That took all the wind out of our sails for the moment, so we decided to move on to something else.

Two other guys showed up after Pathfinder finished, and so we had a group of six now. We decided to split up and play two games. I had just gotten Alien Frontiers in the mail from kickstarter a few days before, and was really itching to play again. This game is awesome. The players were:

Ryan
Ben
Kevin

While we were playing this, Dave had brought over his PS3 and wanted to play a game of his he hadn't tried out yet, so he got into Dark Souls II for a few minutes while his brother Jeff finished up his lunch and setup the next game.

So back to AF. We played with the factions expansion and I ended up with the Homesteaders Union, which lets me launch a colony from the sixth circle of the Colonist's Hub, instead of the seventh. It's an awesome ability, especially when paired with the power that lets you move an extra space. If you dock at my faction you can move one additional circle on the Hub.

Ben had the Dark Space Explorers, which lets him discard up to two tech cards instead of one. If you dock at his faction, you can pay one fuel to take the top card of the tech deck.

Kevin ended up with the Proxima Centauri Scholars, which lets him pay two fuel to either place or remove, but not move, one field generator. If someone docks at his faction, they can pay one fuel to move one field generator.

Ben and Kevin started the game off by upgrading their workers very quickly. They blocked me on the first couple turns from doing the same, so I just used my faction power to send a colony to the planet from the sixth circle. I wanted to take the power that let me move an extra circle, but I REALLY needed another die, as I only had three and Ben had five at that point, while Kevin had four, so I took the extra die ability. That gave me the flexibility to do more, and so I then concentrated on getting a fifth die, and then nabbing that ability to move more on the Colonist's Hub. Ben went with a card strategy, and it was paying off for him, as he was leading for a lot of the game. Kevin was hanging around as well.

Toward the end of the game I was behind by a point to Ben and really only had a way to get one more point, and since Ben had more cards than me, he would have won the tiebreak and secured victory. Then I saw a hope. There was nobody docked at the Alien Artifact station, so I quickly decided to sweep the cards and see what I could get. Three cards come out, and none of them help me get any points. So I sweep again, and there it is. The one card that lets me get one more point! I can swap colonies on the board. So I purchase the card and then discard it to do that ability, and in so doing earn the additional point I need to secure the W.

It ended like this:

Kevin: 8
Ben: 11
Ryan: 12

Such a great game. My second win of the fest! Things are really coming up Milhouse at this point. While we were playing this, Dave, Jeff and Alex got into a game of...

I have absolutely no clue what happened in this game other than they played the Scattered scenario, and they won. I was busy playing Alien Frontiers and didn't get to really see how they were doing. I know it was Alex's first play of it, and I'm pretty certain he enjoyed himself, as he likes more AT games.

Bill has transitioned more away from videogames over the past few years, but will ALWAYS play any iteration of Smash Bros. if prompted, especially if Kevin is around. Kevin will also always play Smash, even though he gets completely and utterly DESTROYED all the time. Was this NF any different??? Here is a breakdown of all of their games from Friday night:

Also, it was at this point in the fest that someone mentioned that I should be taking minor photographic evidence of the games being played. I thought it was a great idea, and so I started that with the Smashing. I only got one shot of most of the games just to give a feel. Here it is in all its glory!

Bill in the foreground, Kevin in the background, Bill's wife Kristi behind him. Look at that crystal clear picture. shake

They always use random characters to make it more even.

Game 1: Super Mario World Stage
Bill - King DDD
Kevin - Bowser
Winner - Bill

Game 2: Original Mario Brothers Stage
Bill - Mario
Kevin - King DDD
Winner - Bill

Game 3: Snake's Stage
Bill - Kirby
Kevin - Kirby
Winner - Bill

Game 4: F-Zero Stage
Bill - Kirby
Kevin - Bowser
Winner - Bill

Game 5: Star Fox Stage
Bill - Mr. Game & Watch
Kevin - Wolf
Winner - Bill

Game 6: Metaknight's Ship Stage
Bill - Yoshi
Kevin - Kirby
Winner - Bill

Game 7: Fire Emblem Stage
Bill - Lucario
Kevin - Ganandorf
Winner - Bill

Game 8: Metroid Stage
Bill - R.O.B.
Kevin - Marth
Winner - K E V I N!!!!!!

Game 9: Kid Icarus Stage
Bill - Donkey Kong
Kevin - Ganandorf
Winner - Bill

Game 10: Earthbound Stage
Bill - Fox
Kevin - Bowser
Winner - Bill

Game 11: Generic SB Stage
Bill - Snake
Kevin - Ice Climbers
Winner - Bill

Game 12: Pokemon Stage
Bill - Wolf
Kevin - Captain Falcon
Winner - Bill

Game 13: Rainbow Cruise Stage
Bill - Wario
Kevin - Wolf
Winner - Bill

Game 14: Mario Sunshine Stage
Bill - Picachu
Kevin - Lucario
Winner - Bill

Game 15: Music DS Game Stage
Bill - Luigi
Kevin - Donkey Kong
Winner - Bill

Game 16: Windwaker Stage
Bill - Kirby
Kevin - Lucas (not random, though)
Winner - Bill

At this point, Kevin's self esteem was utterly destroyed, and so they switched to the cooperative version and defeated all nine levels!

The final kill totals were:

Bill - 124
Kevin - 86

After that, Kevin tried to kill himself but failed, so Bill had to do it.

Revised kill totals:

Bill - 125.

After that happened Bill decided to play a solo Boss Battle on Intense Mode against(?) Charizard. That's all the detail I have about that solo battle...

While all the boardgaming and Smash Bros'ing was going on, Niv, who doesn't enjoy board games or Smash Bros., decided to play the modded original X-Box that was there. We have a ton of NES and SNES games modded onto it, and here is a list of a bunch of random games he partook in:

(The second half of this list is a lot of games played by Josh and a few others. Niv played MANY more than this, but I didn't get to record them all.)

Niv on the left, Josh on the right.

Batman (1986)
Jump 'n Bump
BurgerTime Deluxe
Darkwing Duck

Next up was a game that has really taken me, Jeff and Dave by storm. We really wanted Ben and Alex to give it a shot, so I decided to sit it out as I've already played twice and play some Boggle with Niv and Josh.

Jeff on the left, Alex above in the blue Vault 101 shirt, Dave on the right, the back of Ben's head below.

So I'm not exactly sure what happened in the game as I was playing Boggle, but I know it was its usual swingy self. I believe Alex was in the lead for a good deal of the game and was eventually kingmade by Ben. He apparently could have either made Alex or Jeff win, and chose Alex.

The final scores were:

Ben - 4
Dave - 5
Jeff - 8
Alex - 10

While the guys were playing Kemet, Niv, Josh and I played a game of Big Boggle. This is a game we used to play the ever loving SHIT out of back before we were all into hobby board games. By "we" I mean me, Niv, Josh, Dave, and a couple other people. A lot of people HATE the game. We play a bit strangely, as we use the 5x5 grid and can ONLY write down words with a length of five or more. We also play that you can just write down whatever the heck you want - within reason - and if you think it might be a word, you're allowed to look it up with no penalty for it not being a word.

That said, Josh usually ALWAYS wins. The man is a savant. And he's not writing down random crap and looking it up every time. He just has a knack for finding words in puzzles where it seems like there's none.

It was over in 7 rounds. Here's the breakdown:

Round 1
Niv - 2
Ryan - 15
Josh - 27

Round 2
Niv - 7
Ryan - 7
Josh - 7

Round 3
Niv - 2
Ryan - 5
Josh - 2

Round 4
Niv - 6
Ryan - 6
Josh - 24

Round 5
Niv - 9
Ryan - 21
Josh - 6

Round 6
Niv - 16
Ryan - 13
Josh - 30

Round 7
Niv - 11
Ryan - 10
Josh - 25

Totals:
Niv - 53
Ryan (Me) - 77
Josh - 121

He pounded us into submission, though it was cool we all tied in the second round. Niv had a tough beginning but came on strong in the last couple rounds. I scored more points than Josh in two rounds, so that was my personal victory.

There is an app on iOS and android called Quiz-UP, and we've all been pretty enamored with it. It's a quiz app where you just pick a category (TV, Movies, Geography, Math, etc...) and face off against another person, be it local or online, in a series of eight (I think?) questions. It's addicting fun.

Ben and Alex played two games of it at random times.

Walking Dead - Ben over Alex
Name-The-Toy - They tied

Bill has the Wii-U and he brought over this game for us to try out. I went on a nice leisurely tour through the streets of Tokyo before we played. It was pretty cool. You stand in front of the tv, holding the screen-controller and by pointing the screen-controller anywhere in 360 degrees, it would change the perspective of the tour, like you were really there. It was some cool, nerdy fun. So then we played the game!

Bill was Mario, Kristi was Luigi, Kevin was the Princess, and I was Toad (Ben ended up taking over for me for some reason that I can't remember).

It was pretty fun. Basically a 3D Mario game where all four of us are working together to get through the world. It was a lot of hilarious/crazy fun.

Toward the end of night-one our brains were complete mush. Dave, Jeff and I decided to play a nice light game of Ra-tzee. This was an insanely close game. All I had to do was roll one more damn boat and I would have won by a few points, as I put most all of my stock in the boat spot, but couldn't roll to save my life.

Dave and Jeff really took me to school in the one track that gives you points for being the highest. I don't know what it's called, maybe the Priest track? Who knows. They killed me there. We all did pretty good with the buildings, but I could never get a flippin' guy in the one place where you need guys, so I lost five points a couple of rounds.

The game was so close, and in the end the scores went like this:

Ryan - 37
Dave - 39
Jeff - 40

Ben had just gotten Myth in the mail a few days before from his Kickstarter backing, and he came over early on Saturday morning to try and beat the crowd and sneak in a learning game of this. We...did our best. The rules are incredibly difficult to decipher in spots, and we just kind of twiddled our thumbs for a bit at the beginning as we were often buried in the rulebook.

Eventually we decided we kinda knew what we were doing and played a couple tiles-worth of the game. I was the Apprentice and Ben was the I-don't-remember. We were cruising along pretty nicely until this mad-man came and crushed our hopes and dreams.

Ben stayed home from work earlier in the week and painted a few of the minis. He was real sick...

Overall I thought the game was pretty awesome, the 5% of it we were sure we played right, anyway. Hopefully the FAQ will solve a lot of the dilemmas and we can play this one semi-regularly.

While Ben and I were putting Myth away, everyone else pretty much showed up and was ready to get into something. Letters from Whitechapel has quickly ascended the ranks and put itself into one of my favorite games, so I wanted those that hadn't tried it yet to try it. I was preparing lunch upstairs and so I didn't get involved in this one.

Ben on the left, then Alex, Jeff, Josh, and the back of Dave's head.

So in all of the games I've played in so far, Jeff has been Jack the Ripper, so this time Dave thought he'd let Jeff feel how it is to be one of the detectives. They both said that playing the opposite side than they're used to was incredibly different and just as awesome. I think Dave said he liked playing Jack better than being a detective, and Jeff said the same. I honestly don't think I'd like playing Jack as much as it seems as though it's so nerve wracking. I think I'd just be too nervous the entire time to have any fun.

SO - as I understand it, the investigators had the DAMNEDEST time locating clues, which made Alex and Ben incredibly frustrated; however, they ended up winning on the move RIGHT before Dave would have gotten Jack home on the third night, which would have secured him the victory. The investigators won by completely surrounding Jack and not enabling him to move at all. Since he didn't have a carriage left, he was stuck, and one of the losing conditions for Jack is that if he's unable to move, he loses.

What a crazy way to end it!

While Whitechapel was going on, Bill and Kristi showed up and decided to get in a quick game of ACBaS.

At the start of the game, they used buildings from both expansions, which were:

Materials Outlet
Manor
Carpenter's Workshop
Assembly Hall
Cow Stall
Hay Rack
Fence Manufacturer
Animal Trader

Bill built up a massive amount of Sheep - he had 19 in total - and Kristi went on a buildings for points strategy, as she was having trouble on the animal front. The end game looked like this:

Bill got so many points from sheep and enough extra points throughout to secure him the victory. Kristi did have a ton of building points, but didn't get a second expansion built and lost the animal battle.

The final scores were:

Kristi - 41, building the Materials Outlet, Manor, and Half-Timbered House
Bill - 53, building a Shelter and the open Stables

Next up is another of my favorite games; Lords of Vegas. This one is always a hit. The guys were still playing Whitechapel, and Bill and Kristi were done with ACBaS, and I was done preparing food, so we just decided to do a three-player game of this. I've been on a hot-streak in this game, winning the previous two times I'd played, so I was a bit nervous the streak would end.

We played with the skybridge expansion as well as the new Mob Rules & Union of the Shakes expansion. Nobody used the Mob expansion, though, as the situation just never came up!

I was the blue player, Bill was green (as always) and Kristi was Red (as always).

The game started very favorably for me as on my very first turn I turned a one-tile casino into whatever the brown one is, and it hit on like the next two turns in a row! Points! The funny thing is, is that brown usually NEVER comes out in our games for some reason, yet I always take it because there are usually always fewer cards in its stack, so it taunts me.

Anyway things were really going my way early on and it seemed as though I was running away with it. Then the awesomeness of the game happened. Re-structurings, losses of tiles that were sprawled, and ill advised gamblings. I lost control of a huge 9-tile casino late in the game to Kristi, and she hit on it a few times and caught right up to Bill and me. Bill was just getting unlucky with the cards, and I was getting extremely lucky with them. Also the dice seemed to MOSTLY go my way. In the end I ended up winning with 54 points, and Bill and Kristi tied only a couple spaces behind me at 40 points. Bill did win the tie-breaker, however, as he had a bit more money.

Three-in-a-row, baby!! I can retire as a Vegas mogul!

Jeff told us that a friend of his was gonna come over, and he wasn't too versed into games, other than Settlers, where he went to GenCon last year and placed 4th (I think) in the tournament. He showed up right as I was starting my first ever game of Battle Beyond Space! The players were:

Ryan - Earthers
Jeff - Valkyrie
Bill - Dreckach
Kristi - Vonyan

I started off in what I thought was a great position. My first two moves were straight ahead towards the middle of the board towards some points. Little did I realize how swingy the game is. Jeff shot and killed a ship of mine on his turn, and Kristi killed the other one, making an eternal enemy. I then focused one of my capital ships to destroy her capital ship. It worked, and we were then even...I think.

When Jesse got there I didn't want him to not be able to play a game, and as we had just started, I didn't mind relinquishing my spot to him. I think I was going to make pizza anyway, so it worked out well. He took over for me and really added to my two points I had at the time, though I'm going to take full credit for the win. It ended up like this:

Ryan/Jesse - 27
Jeff - 18
Bill - 18 (won tie with most ships)
Kristi - 22

Bill may be able to add more detail if he wants as I wasn't really there for most of this one.

My sister-in-law Sarah had said that she wanted to come over at some point during the Fest. She really likes games, but hasn't played many hobby games outside of very light ones I've introduced her to. I decided Rampage would be a great first game for her to try! I can't believe I didn't get any pictures of it. I was so absent minded when it came to the pictures. This one would have been great.

Anyway, as I was setting up the game, it attracted a ton of attention. Kristi got EXTREMELY excited when she saw all the stickered meeples being setup in the 3D city and that made ME extremely excited as well, because Kristi has a historical knack for not really liking many of my games. She wanted to try this one out very badly. Alex also saw the setup and just walked over with wide eyes and said, "Can I please play this?"

I had originally intended for both Sarah and Danny to play, but Danny just wanted to watch the NCAA tournament, so Bill hopped in as the fourth player. So we had

Bill - Green
Alex - Blue
Kristi - Red
Sarah - Purple

Again I will need Bill to fill in any detail he remembers about this one, as I wasn't a part of it. I know that a LOT of destruction happened and dinosaurs were involved. I also know the final scores...

Bill - 18
Alex - 18 (won on the tiebreak)
Kristi - 16
Sarah - 8

I believe everyone had a great time, even poor Sarah, who I think didn't fully understand how scoring worked.

After playing Rampage, Sarah was very interested in trying more games. She wanted something simple and light, with minimal setup to keep things moving. I know how much she loves Euchre, so I brought out Clubs! The players:

Ryan
Jeff
Kristi
Sarah

The game started out VERY well for me, as I went out first in the first and third rounds and had built what we all thought was an insurmountable lead. Then it looked like Kristi might win, as she had a great second and fourth round! The thing that we forgot about was that Jeff was at the table. Jeff has some sort of weird aversion to losing. It just doesn't really happen to him very often. He's built up an immunity. Well during one round his only chance was to do a double or nothing, which he did, and succeeded, for the win. Haha. I'd call it luck if the man wasn't such a savant at winning things.

The game lasted five rounds, and they looked like this:

Round 1:
Ryan - 17. Jeff - 5. Kristi - 0. Sarah - 9.

Round 2:
Ryan - 7. Jeff - 0. Kristi - 19. Sarah - 8.

Round 3:
Ryan - 16. Jeff - 13. Kristi - 5. Sarah - 0.

Round 4:
Ryan - 0. Jeff - 6. Kristi - 16. Sarah - 6.

Round 5:
Ryan - 0. Jeff - 32 (like a jerk). Kristi - 9. Sarah - 9.

So the final scores were:
Ryan - 40. Jeff - 56. Kristi - 49. Sarah - 32.

Sarah LOVED the game and immediately after it was over asked where she could buy it, and that she wanted to show it to all her friends. I knew she would enjoy it as she loves card games.

Kristi has been laying in wait this whole fest...I smell a string of victories coming her way...and it smells disgusting. gulp

My buddy Chris showed up at this point and really wanted to get into something. A bunch of other people were playing Telestrations so Chris, Kristi and I took out Alien Frontiers. I have been really enjoying this game, and fresh off of a win a day earlier made me excited to have Chris try it.

Poor Kristi had a pretty bad experience with the game her first time playing, and reluctantly agreed to try it again. The game started off TERRIBLY for me, as it seemed I was blocked everywhere, and then had resources stolen from me as Chris played a pretty cutthroat game. It took me forever to get my fourth ship, and by then I was already left in the dust by the other two. I did my best to make a little push at the end, but it was too little too late, and the final scores looked like this:

Ryan (Green) - 8
Chris (Yellow) - 10
Kristi (Red) - 11

That's right, Kristi ended up winning! I believe her and Chris were tied at the very end, but one of Kristi's cards gave her an extra point for the win!! Don't believe me?? Look at THIS!

A lot of people had gone at this point, and others were into Smash Brothers again, so Kristi, Jeff and I were looking for something little we could play, as our brains were all pretty much mush at this point.

We played three games of Qwixx. Kristi really effed us in our A's here. She took us to pound town. She socked it to us. She mopped the floor with us, and all other she-wins-we-lose cliches. I came within one point of her one of the games, but the other two games saw her just obliterate us.

Her combined score across the three games was about 100 points higher than both me and Jeff, haha.

The games went like this:

Game 1:
Kristi - 104. Jeff - 97. Ryan - 80.

Game 2:
Kristi - 52. Jeff - 39. Ryan - 51.

Game 3:
Kristi - 124. Jeff - 42. Ryan - 53.

After it was over she disappeared in a poof of red smoke.

Chris, Bill, and Kevin played some more Smash Bros. for a long time in the late evening of Saturday. I think Bill pretty much destroyed everybody again, save for this one awesome time:

They were playing on the Donkey Kong level (Bill can correct me if that's wrong) and Kevin was killed off (no surprise there), leaving Bill and Chris left. It looked as though Bill had Chris dead to rights, as Chris was over 100% and Bill was at about 79% or so. Well, somehow Chris stayed alive and got Bill to a bit over 100% as well, so they were neck and neck. It was getting a bit tense, as it wasn't clear who was going to secure victory. Nobody could take it anymore, especially the level...so it decided to intervene.

Those springy elevator things were bouncing all around the level and one of them hits Chris and he flies, still on the screen, but is just about to be killed, and Bill attempts to come over and finish the job, but just as he's about to, he is ALSO hit by one of the elevators! It then immediately flings him directly into Donkey Kong who just PUNCHES him right off the map and Bill dies. It all happened in like three seconds and was absolutely hilarious.......if you're a huge nerd. We laughed for a while.

My friend Dave came over first on Sunday, and we decided to play a game of Runebound. I had just gotten two character decks and I really wanted to try them out. Dave loves this game. It might be his favorite, so he was in!

I was Runewitch Astara and used the Wildlander Character deck.

Dave was Battlemage Jaes and used the Spiritbound Character deck.

When we play Runebound we don't really do much pvp stuff. We just kind of explore the world building up as much as we can, and treat the game like a race. We cheer each other on and just have a ton of fun. These character decks have a bunch of cards that mess with the other player, so we didn't really find those cards too exciting and just didn't use them. The other cards that buffed us up were a ton of fun.

Poor Jeff came over right while we were in the middle of it, and anyone who plays Runebound knows that it can just take a long time, even with the variants to shorten the game, which we were using. Josh and Kevin were over at that time and were playing Mario Tennis, I think. Poor Jeff just sat and watched them for an hour and a half while me and Dave slogged through the land, terrorizing the countryside.

We ended up facing the dragons and I think both of us lost, but Dave defeated more of them, so he won?? Or maybe he defeated the highest dragon and won outright. For some reason all I have for this game is that Dave won and I lost, haha. I was getting weary with my logging at this point!!

We both love this game a ton, and think that the Character decks make the game a bit more fiddly, but enjoyed them nonetheless.
