Geek Madness: Double Elimination - Round C
- Tony Ackroyd(1000rpm)United Kingdom
Round A saw the best 64 games from the nominations round that failed to qualify face each other. Round B saw the round A winners match-up against the losers from Round 1 of Geek Madness.
Round C sees the DE Round B winners take on the GM Round 2 losers.
Round A: Best 64 non-qualifying nominees face off
Round B: Round A winners vs. Round 1 losers (64 games)
Round C: Round B winners vs. Round 2 losers (48 games)
Round D: Round C winners vs. Round 3 losers (24 games)
Round E: Round D winners vs. Round 4 losers (12 games)
Round F: Round E winners vs. Round 5 (semi-finals) losers (6 games)
Round G: Round F winners vs. Round 6 (finals) loser (3 games)
Round H: Round G winner vs. Geek Madness winner
I'll be 'rotating' the quadrants that the new losers enter into so that games should not meet a game that eliminated them too quickly.
Last year following this format meant that the Double Elimination bracket ended up having twice as many rounds as the tournament proper. This year I have a cunning plan to avoid that and you get to see it this round: 3-way ties from this point on.
Voting has ended for this round. The next round is here:
