The Limerick Chain Game

So I used to be on BGG every day, like 3 times a day (or more). Then, some life happened, and I got sucked into A Game of Thrones: LCG (which is fantastic by the way and you should get sucked in too!)
Recently, the board game bug has bit me yet again, and I reminisced back to the days of Melissa's Chain Game Geeklists and how they kept me amused at work. So, to celebrate my reemergence here on the Geek, I thought I'd start a Limerick Chain Game.
Here's how it will work: You write a limerick describing a game, and then the next poster who can decipher which game your limerick refers to will add a post with that game. In that item, he or she will compose their own limerick, passing on the chance to guess to others. I'll start with an example and then a clue in the below item.
Good luck; have fun!
There once was a game about farmers But farmers who liked to wear armor. They pushed their ore yields Or plowed and sowed fields.... Did this fire the Gric or just harm her?

So of course the above limerick is referring to Caverna. You get the idea....
Here's your clue for game #2, which you can add and pass along if you'd like to play:
Our costumes were made out of nylon And I needed a friend to rely on I pressed an election But my friends were defectin' I didn't think they were a .....
