Okay, so you'll rarely walk away from a gaming session with concert ring in your ears, but is it just me or are there some games which pack such a punch that you walk away from the table feeling like you've just been at an epic gig?

I wrote an article on this: http://nuomagazine.com/2014/04/18/missed-coachella-keep-calm...

Here are the games I mentioned in the article, but can you think of any others that leave you feeling the same way? Submit them below, or - even better - add them in the comments section on the original article website. Let's spread the word, people!

"Take the mind-bending emotional roller coaster of The Resistance, which sees you look deep into the eyes of each of your friends, every one of them swearing blind that they are not the traitor. You make your choice and gather those most trusted ones to your side, only to see the team’s final mission fail, handing victory to the bad guys. Your howls of disbelief turn to a wicked grin as you reveal that you were the traitor after all! Any session of this game will invariably be followed immediately by finger pointing, accusations of treachery, threats of repercussions and, most of all, laughter – lots of laughter."

"Board games also offer a profoundly tactile experience. There is a unique pleasure in throwing dice, holding a hand of cards or moving cardboard chits around a map. Just as the pounding beats and crush of the crowd add a physicality to the sensory experience of a concert, the same goes for the table top gaming experience. King of Tokyo is a lightweight, fun game about Godzilla-style monsters fighting for control of a city. Arguably the best bit of this game is grabbing the oversized dice marked with claws, lighting bolts and hearts and tossing them across the table with a clatter."

"Or what about the physical theatricality of drawing cardboard triangles from a drawstring bag to decide the make up of the next wave of monsters attacking Castle Panic? Just joyous."
