Every year nearly 200 maniac cyclists take part in a 3 week, 2000 mile cycle race around France. This contest echos that madness, but with games taking part.

Le Tour de Geek has 15 stages where the 50 best games will compete against each other. Each of the 15 stages represents a different aspect of what makes games great. As in Le Tour the competitors will be judged in a number of different ways and the best in each of these will be rewarded by wearing a coloured jersey in the next stage. After the 15 stages are complete we will know our champions.

The games have been chosen based on their performance in last year's Tour qualifying events (Top 20) and in two qualifying stages.
Similar games (e.g. Dominion/Intrigue, Steam/Age of Steam) have been combined.

Previous Stages:
Le Tour De Geek 2014 - Qualifying Stage I [POLLS] - STAGE COMPLETE
Le Tour De Geek 2014 - Qualifying Stage II [POLLS] - STAGE COMPLETE
[POLLS] Le Tour de Geek 2014, Stage 1: Fun - STAGE COMPLETE
[POLLS] Le Tour de Geek 2014, Stage 2: Replayability - STAGE COMPLETE
[POLLS] Le Tour de Geek 2014, Stage 5: Theme: Quality and Fit - STAGE COMPLETE
[POLLS] Le Tour de Geek 2014, Stage 6: Good Use of Time - STAGE COMPLETE

Stage 7: Value for Money
Is it worth the price? How does the cost of the game compare with the regularity it will be played? How much is the cost versus the total game time it will be played?

I am aiming to run 2 stages per week so that this contest ends at the same time as the actual Tour de France. To make sure you don't miss a round subscribe here: 1000rpm's Polls Notification Thread - Just Subscribe!

There is a discussion thread here: Le Tour de Geek - Discussion Thread

Voting has ended for this stage. The next stage is here:

General Classification Vote Count TOTAL to Date

The Resistance took advantage of poor performances by BSG, Twilight Struggle and Pandemic to leap from 4th to 1st.
7 Wonders win blasts it into 4th.
Agricola and Power Grid both had a terrible stage and slide down the table. In contrast, Love Letter moves up a gear and many places.
At the back, Crokinole jumped out of the back three, while Brass snoozed into 48th spot.

So how are our newbies doing?

16 Robinson Crusoe
19 Hanabi
22 Can't Stop
26 Flash Point
29 Terra Mystica
39 Suburbia
42 Keyflower
48 Brass (re-joins)
49 Trajan

Mostly finding it tough going. But Robinson Crusoe, despite being one of the least well known games in the contest, is making waves.
