Game abandoned Players Tim Colin Bill

This is not so much a game as a way of life. After playing of over an hour Tim was leading with 3 Powers , the winning total is 15. we believed that we would not finish it in time. Tim had just played the nuclear option in killing everyones warriors. Looking forward to giving this another try

"The City of Medina, the year 1822. After years of decay, it is time to rebuild Medina, located at the foot of the Sarawat Mountains. The players work to erect large and beautiful palaces and to renovate the damaged city wall. As life returns to the old city, people flock through the alleys and the contours of the new city gradually reappear!

Each turn, players may place two pieces on the board, either augmenting an existing building or starting a new building if the current building of that color is finished. Each player will claim one building of each of the four colors by the end of the game, giving one point per wooden piece attached to the building. Also, if you own the largest building of a particular color you get a bonus for that color. Finally, there are bonuses for the player who most recently connected one of their buildings to the walls, which grow from the four corners of the city.

Medina is a tense game by the great designer Stefan Dorra. The upcoming edition of the game features a double-sided game board, almost 200 wooden pieces, and updated gameplay, as well as rules and components never before published for this game!"

"In Unexpected Treasures – a new edition of the 2002 release Fundstücke – you are on a mission to collect old furniture from a bulk waste collection site and turn a profit by selling those pieces to paying customers. It's first come, first served. What's more, you are able to take only a few items home at a time – and you have to be wary of a thief who is out on the prowl just waiting to steal your collected goods from your home."

Godfrey 160 Swami165 Micah 135

"Greed is a dice game for two or more players, using six six-sided dice. The object of the game is to be the first to achieve a score of 5,000 points or more.
Each player takes a turn. A turn involves one or more throws of the dice.
When a player begins a turn, he throws all six dice. He then scores points.
If he fails to score any points on his first throw, then his turn ends and the play pass to the person on his left.
In order to enter the game, the player must achieve 500 points in one turn; not throw.
After a player's first throw in a turn, he may decide to set aside those dice that scored points and throw the rest of the dice or to end his turn.
Each throw at least one die must be kept in order to continue rolling.
If the player scores no points from the second throw, his turn is ended and he scores NO POINTS. Otherwise, the player may continue to throw all remaining non-scoring dice over and over again.

In addition, if a player scores with all six dice over the course of his bonus turn, he gets another bonus turn, and so on for as long as he keeps scoring with all six dice."

9. Board Game: 1944: Race to the Rhine [Average Rating:7.35 Overall Rank:1276]

Still bring played when I left

"The game is based on historical events of the year 1944. Players, in the roles of Allied commanders, take part in a true race to the Rhine. Whoever reaches the river first, wins the game and ends World War II before Christmas. But time is short, since the Axis defense is getting stronger and stronger, and the window of opportunity may not be opened for long.

Each player controls three or four Corps, and players move in turns. During each turn, players may take two actions: move their Corps (and fight a battle, if they encounter Axis troops!), get supplies, get transport trucks, and make use of their air supremacy. Cross the Rhine river first, and you win. Each of these Corps needs:

gas, to move,
ammo, to fight Axis units met along the way,
food, to prevent soldiers from starving.

Players must not only play the role of commander, but also of quartermaster in order to reach the Rhine before the others. During their march, players' Corps gain help from the French Resistance movement, find abandoned Axis supplies, and meet crowds of civilians who may be celebrating the liberation — or might just demand food to feed the hungry.

Will you use your transport capacity to send fuel to make your Corps move faster, or will you transport ammo to help them win against Axis troops met along the way? Will you lead like Patton and bend all the safety rules, or like Monty to make slow but certain progress? And don't forget about food for your soldiers, because if the supply check comes, it will be too late... Keep in mind that your situation will only get worse as the Axis defense will become stronger with each mile you advance toward the Rhine."
