2015 Challenge: Play 10 Games 10 Times Each
I am taking part in this geeklist challenge to play ten games at least ten times each this year. Having done the same thing last year, I decided it was enough fun to do it again.Recommend
Last year I settled on games that were mostly longer that I felt I wasn't getting to the table as much as I'd like. I made some specific exemptions because they were too quick to play or other motivations to play them (such as owned and unplayed). I was however, pretty liberal with using game families instead of specific games.
Since then, I have moved to a new country and seen a reduction in regular gaming buddies (especially those that share my Ameritrash tastes). Given all of that, I am not so sure what my gaming life will be like going forward and have decided to loosen up the requirements. My motivation remains the same to get more plays of the games I love, but don't play enough. On top of this, I did find myself playing less of the filler games than I had hoped so I will be looking to add a few more of these to the list. I will also be upping my commitment to 15 games (although still only 10 plays each).
Being realistic given my new location and lack of regular gaming buddies has heavily coloured my list and there are plenty of other games that I desperately want to get out more often but think I would struggle with. Some examples are: Carcassonne, Formula D, Series: LEGO Heroica, Star Trek: Fleet Captains, Game: Star Wars X-Wing Miniatures Game
It's not going to be easy but I am gonna do my best.
So onto the list:
