B Factor's entry in the "2015 Challenge: Play 10 Games 10 Times Each"

RecommendOnce again, kudos toSarah ReedUnited States
Californiafor putting together this challenge!
I participated in last year's challenge and enjoyed both having a focus for games that I wanted repeat plays of and tracking my progress throughout the year.
After completing that challenge in mid-December, I began thinking of games that I wanted on my list for this year. While it was easy to think of games, actually committing to them was more difficult because the Cult of the New continues to prevail in my primary gaming circles and, on top of this, two of my weekly gaming nights evaporated last year. So, I legitimately wondered if I'd be able to get in ten plays for some of my proposed games.
Therefore, this year's challenge will feature a couple of games that are solo by design or can be played as such, and I'll let myself count online plays for games, whereas last year I wanted to complete the challenge with in-person plays only. I still do, but I don't want to be victimized by the CotN to the extent that I'll fail the challenge. (I just realized that nowhere have I noted that this is a hardcore entry—I've taken that fact for granted.)
One nice surprise from last year's challenge was the occasional thumb or friendly comment that I received somewhere in my GeekList. I hadn't expected anyone to care about my personal challenge, so it was an entirely pleasant surprise to have received encouragement or an amusing observation at random points through the year.
So, to anyone who stumbles on this year's entry, you're more than welcome to say hi or to post a comment as you feel moved. Ideally, being a part of this hobby should bring people together where they might not have been otherwise! (Just kindly be mindful not to post strategy spoilers—while I do enjoy discussions on strategy, I also greatly value the joy of discovery that comes from repeat plays of games.)
