15th Jan. 4 player, intro level with 2 new players. A spectacular loss. We cured one disease very quickly, but then even with the Medic in play we were so busy fighting outbreaks that we ran out of city cards with 2 diseases still not cured.
25th Jan. 4 player intro. Researcher, Dispatcher, Ops Specialist & the Scientist. It came down to the wire with multiple outbreaks leaving us one from the end of the track. With disease everywhere, we took a risk & managed to cure the last two diseases to win thanks to excellent use of the Dispatcher.
19th Mar. 4 player intro. 2 new players. The Quarantine Specialist, Contingency Planner, Researcher & Dispatcher. 20 turns to cure all 4 diseases. With 2 epidemics almost back to back at the start it looked dire, but the Dispatcher & Quarantine Specialist did an awesome job at getting it under control for the win.
20th Mar. 4 Player standard. The Medic, Dispatcher, Researcher and Scientist. A 'Dream Team' game. 18 turns to lose. It looked good until we hit cascading outbreaks on turn 16 and lost with only 2 diseases cured.
20th Mar. 4 Player standard. The Medic, Dispatcher, Researcher and Scientist. Replaying the 'Dream Team' game. 20 turns to cure all diseases. It took careful planning to win.
4th Apr. 4 Player intro. The Medic, Contingency Planner, Operations Expert and Dispatcher. 24 turns to lose. We did a good job of collecting & exchanging cards. We spent a long time coming up with a masterful plan to win with 1 city card left, but cascading outbreaks meant we ran out of blue cubes immediately before curing the last disease!
4th Apr. 4 Player intro. The Quarantine Specialist, Dispatcher, Researcher and Scientist. 13 turns to win. Crazy how easy it was after the previous game!
2nd May. 4 Player intro. The Quarantine Specialist, Operations Expert, Medic and Scientist. 20 turns to lose catastrophically. We only cured one disease early on then got hit by cascading secondary & tertiary outbreaks to lose.
18th June. 3 Player intro, one Newbie. Ops expert, Medic, Researcher. We almost never play 3 player! 17 turns to win, disease was always under control. Wow, that was easy!
18th June. 3 Player intro. Quarantine Specialist, Dispatcher, Contingency Planner. 21 turns to win. Started with concentrated disease & it looked like we'd lost for a while. Contingency Planner played a masterful 'visit to Tehran' to make sets & win the game!

15th Mar. 3 player (1 new). Final score 86 (7 lords, 2 locations), 74, (6 lords, 2 locations), 65 (6 lords, 1 location).
19th Mar. 4 player (2 new). Final score 85, 74, 74, 71. Interestingly it was not the player with 7 Lords who won. The winner was a newbie who had a crazy number of monster points!
29th Mar. 4 player. Final score 84, 83, 78, 72. The first Player to 7 Lords won by one point. Good close game with strategic use of the Lords powers and key acquisition for locations.
2nd May. 4 player. Final score 90, 80, 74, 72. 37 turns for a decisive win!
20th June. 4 player. Final score 107, 95, 84, 69. A long game at 62 turns with a lot of monster tokens in play!
Final score 63, 82, 81, 36. fast game with only one location each in play. I recruited very rapidly to force the end game but was very lucky to win by 1 point!
6th Aug 4 player. Final score 99, 80, 66, 69. The winner played a masterful move on his 7th Lord to recruit an 8th Lord for 5 pearls!!
16th Aug. 4 player. Final score 68, 54, 56, 82. Low scoring game with few locations in play. It was the monster trophies that won the game!!
22nd Aug. 3 player. Final score 72, 91, 75. Few locations in play, only the winner had two. Winning strategy was to keep the recruited Lords powers running, use pearls and affiliate high count allies.
5th Sept. 4 player. Final score 67, 55, 61, 90.
25th Jan. Our first game. 4 player novice. We managed to assemble all the parts & escape fairly easily but we made a mistake in how we played solar shield & how we advanced the storm level meter. We were lucky that the sand accumulated on a corner tile out of the way. Easy rules, despite our mistakes, and fun to play
8th Feb. 4 player novice. Archaeologist, Climber, Explorer, Water Carrier. Excavated all the tiles except one and recovered 3 of 4 parts before the Archaeologist ran out of water and died. There was a ton of sand in play!
8th Feb. 4 player novice. Meteorologist, Archaeologist, Water Carrier & the Navigator. With lots of hiding in tunnels we nearly ran out of water and sand tiles before narrowly squeaking out a win.
22nd Feb. 4 player novice. Meteorologist, Archaeologist, Climber & the Navigator. The parts came out onto the board quickly but we got buried in sand. Everyone ran out of water and all died except the Climber who hid in a tunnel.
20th June. 4 player novice. Water Carrier, Archaeologist, Climber & Navigator. The parts came out quickly, a lot of sand accumulated but not in our way. A quick easy win.
15th August. 4 player novice. Archaeologist, Explorer, Navigator & Water Carrier. 28 turns & one move from winning we ran out of sand markers and lost!!
15th Oct. 2 player novice. Meteorologist, Navigator. 20 turns to win. Only 3 sand markers left!!!
21st Oct. 2 player normal. Meteorologist, Climber. 19 turns to win. Lots of sand in play but luckily the climber carried us over it to the air ship!
22nd Oct. 2 player. Normal. Archaeologist. Water Carrier. 20 turns to win. we used the Archeologist well so there was lots of sand left in the deck. It seems easier as a 2 player game.
26th Oct. pseudo 4 player. Normal. Climber, Meteorologist, Water Carrier, Archaeologist. 8 turns for the climber and archaeologist to run out of water and die. Hard tile layout & lots of sand.

15th Mar. 4 Player. Normal. Explorer, Messenger, Pilot, Navigator. A loss. Waters Rise came up 3 time in rapid succession at the start, the water rose uncontrollably and we all drowned!!
29th Mar. 4 Player. Novice. Explorer, Diver, Engineer, Messenger. A loss. Waters Rise came up twice in the first turn. We got behind and lost the purple treasure just on the verge of victory!
4th Apr. 4 Player. Novice. Explorer, Navigator, Engineer, Messenger. 17 turns to win despite Waters Rise coming up twice in the first round. We just got out in time!!
23rd Aug. 4 Player. Novice. Messenger, Diver, Pilot, Explorer. 5 turns to lose. Three Waters Rise came up in rapid succession to sink Fool's Landing.
23rd Aug. 4 Player. Normal. Diver, Pilot, Explorer, Messenger. Reset & replay. 24 turns to win. We just barely got out in time!!
11th Oct. 4 Player. Normal. Explorer, Diver, Navigator, Pilot. 19 turns to win. An easy game even tho' the water level got to the last notch - it has never risen so high!
20th Dec. 4 player. Normal. Explorer, Engineer, Pilot, Messenger. 18 turns to lose. Fool's Landing sunk!
20th Dec. 4 player. 4 player. Normal. Explorer, Navigator, Engineer, Pilot, 16 turns to win!
25th Feb. 2 player. Sister Mary & Ashcan Pete vs Shub Niggurath. Sister Mary was devoured on her second turn & replaced by Kate Winthrop. 24 turns, tons of monsters and a huge run with no Elder Signs. A fun challenge.
25th Feb. 2 player. Unseen Forces expansion. Gloria Goldberg & Leo Anderson. After a Mythos card on turn 11 reduced all stamina to zero, they were replaced with Amanda Sharpe & Vincent Lee. Poor Vincent died 6 turns later and Carolyn Fern came into play to win 2 turns later (turn 19).
1st march. 4 Player. Unseen Forces. Amanda Sharpe, Michael McGlen, Bob Jenkins & Monterey Jack vs Yig. Fast 15 turn game. Lots of Other Worlds in play made it easy to get the Elder Signs needed to defeat Yig with only 2 tokens on the Doom Track.
1st march. 4 Player. Unseen Forces. Mark Harrigan, Joe Diamond, Mandy Thompson, Carilyn Fern vs Hastur. Epic 31 turn battle vs evil. With 2 adventure cards in play that added Doom Tokens at Midnight, we placed 5 tokens in one fell swoop. It looked bad for a while, but we managed to defeat Hastur before he awoke!
6th March. 4 Player, 2 Newbies. Unseen Forces. Jim Culver, Rita Young, Monterey Jack & Marie Lambeau vs Azathoth. Had fun defeating Azathoth in 28 turns.
17th April. 4 Player. Unseen Forces. Sister Mary, Joe Diamond, Jenny Barnes & Kate Winthrop vs Yig. Easy, fast victory.
11th June. 2 Player. Unseen Forces. Harvey Walters, Gloria Goldberg vs Azathoth. 26 turns to Victory against the Formless Chaos!
11th July. First 6 player game. Vincent Lee, Sister Mary, Mandy Thompson, Monterey Jack, Gloria Goldberg, Michael McGlen. Defeated Shub Niggurath in 22 turns. Very few monsters came out - Only one doom token on the track. Surprisingly easy!
28th July. 4 Player. Unseen Forces. Rita Sharp, Michael McGlen, Amanda Sharpe, Joe Diamond vs Glaaki. 7 rounds of play to win with only one token on the doom track even tho' CB was cursed for half the game! fast game.
28th July. 4 Player replay. Unseen Forces. Mandy Thompson, Gloria Goldberg, Diana Stanley/Wilson Richards, Carolyn Fern, vs Yog Sothoth. Overrun with monsters & failed to buff up. Diana Stanley was devoured on the first turn! 5 rounds of play before the doom track filled & Yog awoke! Wilson took the last token off 3 hours before the last midnight FTW.

8th Feb 4 players. Haven't played this in ages, so it was good to introduce it to friends. I won with 98 points, despite not being close to the longest route. The game was close all the way, with a major cluster of routes around the east coast.
1st May. 4 players. 109, 104, 102, 93. The end game was triggered with 2 carriages left. Just one more turn to place a 1 carriage route & I would've won with a 10 point swing! A fun, close game.
1st Sep. 4 player. 107 longest route, 81, 73, 41. 10th Anniversary ed. We played with all the cards & the classic rules as that was what was in the box.
18th Sept. 4 player. 2 newbies. 10th Anniversary ed. 119 longest route, 103, 86, 84. Lots of fun, friendly rivalry between the newbies!
7th Nov. 4 player. The Rematch! 10th Anniversary ed. 1910. 103, 103 (most tickets), 100, 72. There will be a rematch for best of 5!
10th Nov. 4 player. 10th Anniversary ed. 1910. 119 (most tickets), 112, 85, 80.
13th Nov. 4 player. 2 Newbies. 10th Anniversary ed. Big Cities. 95, 94 (longest route), 69, 470. Very congested E. Coast & centre. Low scoring short routes & incomplete routes.
13th Nov. 4 player. 2 Newbies. 10th Anniversary ed. 1910. They liked it so much they wanted to replay! 135 (lots of short nested routes), 121 (most destinations), 120, 113. So much fun they went home with a copy of the game!
22nd Nov. 4 player, the grudge match rematch. 10th Anniversary ed. Big Cities. 143 (longest route), 127, 103, 97. I got 10 routes! The winner only had 3 but had nested 20 point routes and all his giraffes were in a single long route!
8th Dec. 4 player, 10th Anniversary ed. Big Cities. I lost - again!
22nd Sept. Prologue vs the White Lion. 2 player, 4 survivors. Disaster! With broken backs & ribs, dismembered legs, gaping chest wounds and exploding heads the last standing survivor was lucky to experience an instant death. The white Lion was victorious!
25th Sept. Prologue vs the White Lion. 2 player, 4 survivors. After a good start (3 wounds in the first round), both female survivors died from exploding heads! The male survivors managed to finish the lion & found our first settlement.
27th Sept. Hunt lvl 1 White Lion. 2 player, 4 survivors (3 new). This time the males were useless and the girls did all the damage to the lion. We were victorious and able to expand our settlement!
29th Sept. Equipped with bone weapons we hunted a lvl 1 White Lion. We ambushed the lion & won the showdown but a survivor was murdered in the settlement and another hanged for the murder. We're getting low on survivors!
2nd Oct. Hunt vs Screaming Antelope, after a terrible tick infested hunt we had a disastrous showdown. Died from terror, got consumed whole, lost weapons & armour, died of shock. Only one blind, broken backed survivor. With only 2 left in the settlement we admitted failure. We made a few rules errors in the first few games - time to restart!
3rd Oct. Prologue vs the White Lion. 2 player, 4 survivors. Success! We used all 4 founding stones but all survived to found a new settlement of 12.
4th Oct. Hunt vs lvl 1 White Lion. With some bone weapons and little to no armour, we used the Tall Grass to our advantage & defeated the Lion. One survivor can't gain or use survival but we all survived with enough looted body parts to advance our settlement & create new gear.
12th Oct LY 2: We defeated the White Lion I, 4 survivors One blind survivor died in the Hunt Reenactment.
14th Oct LY 3: We defeated the Screaming Antelope I, 4 survivors.
14th Oct LY 4: We defeated the Butcher I, 3 survivors.
