I figured I'd create my very first Geek List talking about the games that I've recently added to my collection. I will list the game and a brief reason as to why I purchased the game.

I'm hoping that this will help people when they are trying to purchase a new game for their collections. I know I've used this site numerous times as a guide to help me when I decided to spend some money.

I'm adding my first item! Go me!

I found out today that my wife absolutely loved playing this game when she was visiting a friend of hers sometime last year. While visiting said friend the local B&N I was happy to see that they sold just the base game so I quickly snatched it up.

I mainly picked up this game because my wife is a huge fan and I've been wanting to try it for quite some time. Another key reason is that I'm always on the hunt for solid games for our group, but also games that we can play when it's just the two of us. I've heard nothing but great things about Carcassonne and am looking forward to my first play.

I've been a fan of the Shadowrun universe for a while and would really like to try the pen and paper game. At last years GenCon I took a look at Crossfire and thought it was a very interesting and took the leveling system of Shadowrun proper and merged with a deck building system.

I added this to our collection because I can play both solo and in a group setting. Also, watching Rahdo play through it on his youtube channel helped to convince me to pick this up.
