LankyEngineer originally created these surveys to provide a fun diversion that would get the community talking about their hobby. Blott continued the tradition for a while, with ColtsFan76 taking the torch after that. Along the way, we've learned a lot about BGG and its users.

Please note that you may subscribe to the notification thread to be made aware of new lists: 10 Questions Series Subscription Thread.

Please answer all of the following questions in a single Geeklist entry. You are encouraged to comment on other people's items as well!

To create your own entry, click on "Add Item" below and select a board game that best describes Question 0. Copy and paste the questions into your item and answer each of the questions. A pre-formatted set of questions is in the comments below that you may quote.

0) As your GeekList entry, select a game you feel really needs an expansion, revision, or sequel, but never got one. (Or if you are a traditionalist and refuse to accept change, select the game you'd most like to play.)
I chose Epigo as a game I really like that had the promise of lots of new variants. However, after the initial release, nothing really came out. I'd still like to see some, and I'd also like to see this game rereleased to a wider market.

1) Explain your username.
I went to Appalachian State University (hence the asu) and I'm a trombone player (hence the tbone). Asutbone is a moniker I've been using since college.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it?
Cards Against Humanity. I have zero interest in this one.

3) What game would you most want to re-theme?
I have a friend that wanted to turn Flash Point into a Ghostbusters game. I think that would be pretty awesome.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you?
A personal record of the ideal number of players. I know that the front page has a poll, but I'd like to be able to look at my games and find out what I think is the ideal number of players.

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that?
The value of Kickstarter. When it started out, I thought "this is a really cool way for independent publishers to get their games out!" Then everyone started using it, and I thought, "OK, this is getting ridiculous, I'm done with Kickstarter." Now I've come full circle and think that Kickstarter does have a lot of value in getting games noticed that might not otherwise. It does produce its share of junk, and I really wish some of the bigger companies wouldn't use it as their personal preorder system, but I do think Kickstarter overall is a good thing.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose?
Tobago. I think it'd be quite fun racing jeeps over the island and watching those stone statues turn every once in a while.

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be?
Press Your Luck. I take entirely too many leaps of faith.

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it?
Ascension. I've actually never played face-to-face, but I like it on iPad and don't particularly want to try.

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be?
BGG Con. I've never been able to go, and I really want to some time. Spiel would also be fun, but I'm more interested in playing games than buying.

10) Which game has your favorite dice?
Ninja vs. Ninja. I know they're not terribly functional, but the fact that there's a sword stuck through them is awesome.

Helios. Not enough people like it - I don't know why. Maybe if something was altered to make more people enjoy it so I could see it get played more!!!

1) Explain your username.
Punkin312 cause punkin is what I call every cute animal ever. 312 for my birthday, go figure.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it?

Civilization - the 8 hour + game. In general anythign over 5-6 hours I am not really interested in at all. And 18xx

3) What game would you most want to re-theme?
Honestly, anything Space themed- I am just not into them so much. I still play them though. We need more Game of Thrones themed games or Miyazaki themed games.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you?

I don't really do reports so much. Perhaps a feature to search a BGG page and the photos could be searched for by user submission. I find it hard to find some older photos I have posted to popular titles like 7 Wonders or Eclipse. If I could search by my own submission to that BGG game page that would be good. (I've submitted over 2000 pics - which is why going through the contributions page isn't always so easy.)

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that?

Nothing that major has happened in my short gaming history. I have gotten more picky about the certain things - but nothing 180 degrees.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose?

Pretty much crazy question, in which I love. I have a lot of games I could choose. I think my first choice would be Incredible Expeditions: Quest for Atlantis.

second choice would be Seasons

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be?
If it is not Tile-laying then I don't know what it is.

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it?
I play ginkgopolis, Cities, Deus online

But the one I think is BEST though the app is Star Realms. I almost don't need to own the game since I play so much online.
UN: Punkin if you want to play!

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be?
Gathering- all in good time- gamers, all in good time.

10) Which game has your favorite dice?
I think I am going to go with Seasons for this one.

I also like all the colors and interesting dice in Roll for the Galaxy

Bonus: Potential question for next time-
What is a favorite image you might have seen on BGG? laugh

I have 3, Police Precinct, Rune Age, and A Game of Thrones: The Card Game. I tried each once and found them to be broken.

3) What game would you most want to re-theme?

Puerto Rico, great mechanics that could be any number of cooler things than plantations.

Not exactly answering the question, but I wish all different versions of a game and all expansions and accessories could be incorporated into one listing.

0) As your GeekList entry, select a game you feel really needs an expansion, revision, or sequel, but never got one. (Or if you are a traditionalist and refuse to accept change, select the game you'd most like to play.)
I'd love to see a revision of Origins: How We Became Human in the vein of Bios: Megafauna and Pax Porfiriana, both of which were previously published games that received the streamlining treatment.

1) Explain your username.
It is my name.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it?
Diplomacy. Worst gaming experience of my life.

3) What game would you most want to re-theme?
GMT COIN Series. I don't really want to re-theme a current iteration as much as add a new one altogether, based on the Banana Wars in Honduras from 1903-1925.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you?
The age of ratings. Now they do this already for individual user ratings; however, it would be nice if you could see some sort of aggregation, most likely by year, of the various rating levels i.e. game X has 500 level 10 ratings yet 2/3 of them are 10 years old. That sort of thing.

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that?
The use of dice as a primary tool for random outcomes. When I first got into hobby gaming (2004) I hated nearly all randomness, particularly dice. However, the more I play simulation types (mostly from Phil Eklund) I see how simply and cleanly they facilitate elements outside of control. But let's keep them to that please.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose?
Star Trek: Fleet Captains, specifically as part of the Federation. Hey I'd get to explore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations, and boldly go where no one has gone before. Plus there's a holodeck.

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be?
Auction/bidding. I LOVE business games, particularly the auction/bidding bits.

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it?
Nope. (Almost) all face-to-face when it comes to boardgames. Though the Days of Wonder online version of Memoir '44 was good.

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be?
BGGcon.

10) Which game has your favorite dice?
Probably the exposure die in Dead of Winter: A Crossroads Game.

Bonus) What question should be asked on the next Geeklist?
What was the last game that blew your mind? What is the next game you're hoping will?

0) Race for the Galaxy can always use another arc!

1) Explain your username.

Pretty boring explanation - it is my name. I wasn't very creative when I joined BGG, what can I say?

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it?

I've got several including Tzolk'in: The Mayan Calendar, Power Grid, and Munchkin. There are more as well. Power Grid did take me a while to get to that point, but it fits now!

3) What game would you most want to re-theme?

Chaos in the Old World - I think it is a really clever concept and game. However, once I realized I'm playing on the flayed skin of a human I lost interest. Too graphic I guess since I clearly do play other games involving human bloodshed and war.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you?

I just wish total games wouldn't include the expansions...or separate to have a different heading and number for base games.

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that?

I'm not sure what you're asking here. I'll see what others type in response and maybe will edit this if anything rings a bell later.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose?

Depends on what role and character I'd be in these games. It is also easy to look at a time frame in history and wax nostalgic about said time period until you look closer. I'm happy to live in this day and age in the USA.

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be?

Perhaps hand management. I usually look at the present circumstance and make decisions from what I know and have "in hand" and think the future will bring.

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it?

Scrabble - although I mostly say this because this is the only game I really play online with any regularity.

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be?

Gathering of Friends

10) Which game has your favorite dice?

Railroad Dice

Needs to redo the base game cards, with expansion powers with new artwork.

1) Explain your username.
15-20 years ago, I was pretty unstoppable at magic winning every tournament and such. got the nickname, used it ever since for everything.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it?
wargames with those little chits with lots of numbers on them

3) What game would you most want to re-theme?
Kingsport Festival

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you?
digital plays

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that?
closest would be "waterdeep sucks". expansion and my ability to use it as a gateway to keep non gamer friends and family to play is huge.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose?
I could cheat and pick a board game based off an existing franchise, but I won't. I'll go with Dungeon Petz/Lords world.

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be?
Hand management

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it?
Neuroshima Hex

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be?
Gencon. Life gets in the way every year.

10) Which game has your favorite dice?
Luchador. Enough uniqueness to allow me to customize and heavily tweak to make a really fun game with no extra components.

Bonus) What question should be asked on the next Geeklist?
If you could smash up 2 of your games together to make a new one. what would they be and what would they create?

Merchants & Marauders is already an awesome game, but could be made even better with an expansion that added more of everything

Okay, so this was a total cheat, because it actually has an expansion coming that's due out any day now...

Quote:
1) Explain your username.

It's my last name, minus two letters.

Quote:
2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it?
I don't know of any game that I haven't already tried that I'd refuse to try, but topping the "never again" list is Battle of the Sexes.

Quote:
3) What game would you most want to re-theme?

A Podracing re-theme of Snow Tails would be neat. Mechanically it could work exactly as-is, so all it would really take is to change the artwork.

Yes, I enjoyed the prequels. No, they weren't as good as the originals. Shut up.

Quote:
4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you?
I use Extended Stats, so just about any stat I can think of is already covered in some way. The only thing that comes to mind would be a tracker that shows which games have gone the longest amount of time between subsequent plays.

ADDED: There already is a stat that shows the games that have gone the longest since you last played them, but that resets to zero when you actually play the game again. What I'd like to see is one that shows which games had the longest gaps in between plays.

Quote:
5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that?
Not really a full 180°, but I used to see solo gaming mostly as a means to an end - primarily as a way to test-run games before trying them out with others. These days, it's generally my preferred way to play any games, regardless of the intended number of players.

Quote:
6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose?
No idea. Every possible one that comes to mind includes some serious downsides.

Quote:
7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be?
The "Try not to get puked on by your sick child" mechanism.

Quote:
8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it?
I rarely play board games online or on computers or tablets, and am yet to encounter one that's better in that format.

Quote:
9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be?
One where a bunch of BGG friends that I've never actually met in person will be.

Quote:
10) Which game has your favorite dice?

I love the dice in Mice and Mystics. There's a ton of information and options packed into those six-siders. Which of the symbols you look for depends entirely on why you were rolling.

0) As your GeekList entry, select a game you feel really needs an expansion, revision, or sequel, but never got one. (Or if you are a traditionalist and refuse to accept change, select the game you'd most like to play.)
I am a huge fan of the C&C system. All versions of this game have gotten some expansion support except for the original published game that started it all. It did get a reprint that somewhat expanded it but as part of that reprint, it was supposed to get more support. But since this is Hasborg we are talking about, the sales never match-up to their expectations so it got dropped once again.

1) Explain your username.
I am a fan of the Indianapolis Colts, an american football team in the NFL. I was born in 1976.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it?
Race for the Galaxy

3) What game would you most want to re-theme?
I think this has been out there before. I'd like to see El Grande in its original form of the Trojan War. The Castillo that paratroops in cubes all over the board makes a whole lot more sense when you realize they were supposed to be troops coming out of the Trojan Horse to surprise attack the city.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you?
Who you have played against and that it would give you the option to automatically except plays that others posted with your username. We have this vast wealth of info right now that we can't access but a game session at a time. I'd really like to be able to harvest that and do something with it.

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that?
Auction games. I hated auctions games. HATED. But some of my favorite have an auction mechanism such as Power Grid and Keyflower. I like to see new ways to implement bidding. Blind bidding and losing both the bid and what you bid are still things I despise though.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose?
Because I like the period and have always wanted to experience it, Sails of Glory covers it.

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be?
Arguing. Can't we make that a mechanic?

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it?
Sentinels of the Multiverse the Video Game and Androminion. Saves so much time not having to shuffle and keep track of stats.

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be?
Essen of course. I already have GenCon nearby. Gathering of Friends would be another one.

10) Which game has your favorite dice?
Probably Arkham Horror since I've ordered 10,000's of those custom dice.

Bonus) What question should be asked on the next Geeklist?
Who has been the most interesting opponent you have played against?

0) As your GeekList entry, select a game you feel really needs an expansion, revision, or sequel, but never got one.
This is an enjoyable trivia game, that just needs more question cards to increase replay-ability. We've burned through the whole deck and still want to play it.

1) Explain your username.
It's a very complex story, I'd rather not get into it.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it?
I'm pretty flexible and open to just about any game. However it would take some pretty strong convincing to get me to play one of the longer games I didn't like. Agricola, Wealth of Nations, and City Tycoon all come to mind.

3) What game would you most want to re-theme?
Lords of Waterdeep. It sounds like a good game my family might enjoy, but I doubt I could convince them to try another fantasy adventure themed game.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you?
What games are in/out of print.

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that?
Can't think of anything off the top of my head.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose?
Pay Day. Any world where I can easily pay all my bills with money to spare and make tons of money simply by waiting a few weeks for a deal to pan out sounds good to me.

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be?
It would be a bore. Lots of managing money, and junk like that.

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it?
Yahtzee is better in an electronic form.

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be?
BGG.con

10) Which game has your favorite dice?
I like the big chunky dice in King of Tokyo.

Somebody needs to pick up and run with Hamilcar: First Punic War.

1) Explain your username.
Take my first name and combine it with "Air Jordan." The funny thing is that I jump like Bill Laimbeer, and don't particularly like MJ.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it?
Yes. Take your pick: COIN games, Agricola, or the only game I ever game a "1" rating to, but will not speak its evil name.

3) What game would you most want to re-theme?
Turn a COIN game into a Babylon 5 game. I might change my mind on COIN if that were to happen.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you?
None.

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that?
Euros are awesome. I stopped thinking this after I played Agricola and saw them for what they truly are.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose?
A.D. 30

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be?
Take that.
Deck Building: the older I get, the fatter I get.

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it?
Empire of the Sun: much easier to play by Vassal because of the enhancements Vassal offers. Plus, it plays great by e-mail, so I have time to ponder my move.

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be?
WBC. So that I could play Washington's War with His Epicness.

10) Which game has your favorite dice?
War of the ring

0) As your GeekList entry, select a game you feel really needs an expansion, revision, or sequel, but never got one. (Or if you are a traditionalist and refuse to accept change, select the game you'd most like to play.)

SHCD, as listed in my Geeklist entry. There are technically add-on cases, but all are out of print and impossible to find. It's an amazing game model and needs more cases!

1) Explain your username.

It is my name, more or less, plus the number 4. I'm a rebel like that.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it?

Not really, but I've gone out of my way to avoid Betrayal at House on the Hill and Terra Mystica.

3) What game would you most want to re-theme?

Lords of Waterdeep. I personally love it, but I see a lot of people turned off by the theme even before trying the game. The high fantasy theme can be intimidating for many, especially when it's a franchise instead of generic. But it hides a great game that can be for gamers or as a gateway.

I've gone so far as to brainstorm ideas for gateway worker placement games with more friendly themes.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you?

Even as a bit of a stat junky, BGG tracks more than enough for me. I am sated.

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that?

That coops weren't as fun as competitive games. They absolutely can be, and not just with betrayer mechanisms.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose?

Limiting it to games I own, my heart says Victorian London or the Marvel Universe (provided I'd have super powers).

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be?

It would be a logic and deduction game, undoubtedly.

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it?

Not better, no. But there are several games I enjoy, with the primary advantage being a lack of setup and teardown time.

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be?

GenCon, which I should be able to make a reality this year. Also Origins, which I have a conflict with this year.

10) Which game has your favorite dice?

I tend to substitute my own dice into many games, at least when they're generic d6's, d20's, etc. I'm not huge into dice games though, so I'm going to defer on this question.

Bonus) What question should be asked on the next Geeklist?

Why is the jello green?

This one, it came up recently so hubby and I talked about how much fun it would be to have different cards for the children, and ventures (we already have the mansions cards mini expansion). I think there's supposed to be an expansion in the make though, so maybe this doesn't really count...

1) Explain your username.
Polgara is a sorceress from the books of David Eddings (Belgariad and Mallorean series). When I needed an internet nickname, I picked Polgara because I liked the books. When Polgara is taken (or when you can put two different things like here) I go with Duchess of Erat, which is a title she has in those same books.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it? submitted by: Spleen
I don't think so, if by 'try' you mean play it for the first time. Not any one specific game anyway. If the game is something that takes all day and doesn't look particularly interesting to me, it's unlikely I'll give it a try (but I might if in the right mood and quitting if I really don't enjoy it is an option).

3) What game would you most want to re-theme? submitted by: Sandmanx82
I don't really look at games that way. I think the only one I've ever considered the theme of in that way was Cannes: Stars, Scripts and Screens, but I don't really remember what I thought it could also be about.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you? submitted by: Jonny5
I'd want to be able to get a list of games I've played with person XYZ from my games played. Afaik this isn't possible (if I'm wrong, please enlighten me).

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that? submitted by: MichaelB
My tastes have evolved from family euro games to heavier, more thematic games, but I think that has more to do with just normal development of taste by getting access to more and more different games, and I still like quite a few of those old favorites.

I used to say/think I don't like SciFi games, but after getting talked into trying several of them (because someone who knows me thought it really would be a game for me), I can't really keep that up anymore. I'm still not really drawn to the theme, but I'll consider games with the theme, whereas before I'd skip them (which also means we don't really have any SF themed games that I don't really enjoy, as it took some talking to get me to try them in the first place).

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose? submitted by: Corran Horn
Something contemporary-ish, as in after WWII and preferably in (western) Europe. I sort of like where and when I'm at. Modern conveniences are very convenient .

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be? submitted by: IEShadow
Don't really know, could be most things, you'd just have to work to paste the theme onto it (not that my life would make a very exciting theme). Maybe something about how to decide which game to play next? Hubby and I play games most days (a lot of times when we don't play a board game, it's because we go to badminton practice/matches).

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it? submitted by: DancerInDC
Haven't played in a while, but really used to enjoy playing on Brettspielwelt. Especially Dominion was really nice and fast, same with St Petersburg and San Juan.

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be? submitted by: Sizzla
We go to Essen, so... I think it would be interesting to check out the one in Nuernberg (Spielewarenmesse), but that's not open for the general public.

10) Which game has your favorite dice? submitted by: Gregarius
That came with the game? Descent 1st ed has nice dice.
That I added? I really like Chessex gemini dice, we added green/steel ones to Arkham Horror, and green/purple and black/purple ones to the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game.

I always thought this game flew under the radar undeservedly, but it could have used an expansion to increase replayability.

1) Explain your username.

Carmilla is a well-known Gothic novella by Sheridan LeFanu, which inspired a chamber opera that I worked on a production of. I fell in love with both the story and the opera, and have used that as my username almost everywhere ever since.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it?

Two. Cards Against Humanity (not to my taste) and Labyrinth (too close.)

3) What game would you most want to re-theme?

Maybe Labyrinth, so I could actually play it.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you?

I wish it could just incorporate Friendless' Extended Stats, so I could get everything in one place. cool

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that?

Poker. Hated the idea, thought it was idiotic, and that there was something seriously wrong with a game that didn't really work unless you had money on the line. Then I learned to play. Now I can't get enough of it.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose?

Totally cheating, but see Item 0.

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be?

Worker placement.

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it?

Maybe Monopoly, because it goes much faster.

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be?

It's between WBC and The Gathering.

10) Which game has your favorite dice?

There was a game from the 80's called Football Fever. Never played it, but loved the dice.

Titan

1) Explain your username.

Once upon a time, in the early days of free email accounts, there were free accounts being given away by Ziff Davis. zdnet.com! I wanted to put my name as my username, but was denied. I tried multiple different combinations and permutations and kept getting rejected.

Of course, it always suggested helpfully that alternatives were available. leroy43 was one of the random suggestions it came up with and by the time I was fed up with trying to get some semblance of my name, that's what I went with. When I signed up for BGG, that was the email account I used, and so I picked my username the same way.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it?

Hanabi.

3) What game would you most want to re-theme?

Leaping Lemmings. I'd love to make it a game about POWs escaping a prison camp, or people trying to get from one side of the Berlin Wall to the other.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you?

I have asked for this feature a few times, but what I would love to have is a tick box that says "I've played this".

Several reasons for this. It would allow me to track which expansions I've actually used. It would let me filter more easily which games I've not played through the available filters on the site.

I have heard and reject the suggestion of putting an arbitrary play on some past date.

Practical uses for me would include filtering which Power Grid map I haven't tried yet, games I own that I haven't played since before 2003 (when I started tracking my plays), and others...

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that?

That the more complicated a Euro game was the better it was. I was for a while looking for ever deeper and harder games, but it came to a point where it wasn't fun anymore and it was then that I'd realized I'd lost the thread. I play games for many reasons, but fun is one of the big ones, and I'd rather play half a dozen games of something medium or even light over getting sucked into analysis paralysis land.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose?

Ankh-Morporkh? Ah, no... Les Vins de France: The Game of French Wine & Food.

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be?

I think a rondel.

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it?

Ticket to Ride

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be?

GenCon. Essen. Origins. WBC. Consimworld Expo. Gathering of Friends.

10) Which game has your favorite dice?

My Twilight Struggle custom dice.

Bonus) What question should be asked on the next Geeklist?

Name one of your most memorable con experiences.

How about seasons 5-7? Or even 8-10.

1) Explain your username.
I took my full name (or the common shortened form), made it all lower case, and then removed the space. Way back when, I would use my first initial instead of my first name, but that leads to way too many collisions. There are other Jeff Wolfes out there, but there are few enough of them that I don't usually have a problem.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it? submitted by: Spleen
Puerto Rico comes to mind. I haven't played it for a really long time. Every once in a while, I think I should play it again just to see if maybe my opinion could change, but then I don't.

3) What game would you most want to re-theme? submitted by: Sandmanx82
Relationship Tightrope.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you? submitted by: Jonny5
I don't really care about collection statistics. For play statistics, I wish they would split location into three fields. Group/Event/Location. And then, you know, let us filter on those.

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that? submitted by: MichaelB
When I first joined CABS, I said I would never get involved in the management of the group. So, uh, now I'm President. It can be rewarding, and somebody has to do it, but it does result in less gaming during business meetings.

Zendo.

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be? submitted by: IEShadow
I find myself gravitating toward co-operative games, so let's make it a co-op.

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it? submitted by: DancerInDC
I don't really play that much online, but for the games that I do/have, it's more of a tradeoff than a better/worse. Take Dominion, for example. Online Dominion handles the shuffling and the scorekeeping and the other tedious details, but I have a much harder time keeping track of everything that's going on when it's just pixels on a screen. When I can actually see the cards being taken from the Supply and the piles emptying, and I actually move the cards in my deck around, it's easier for me to remember than when it's on the screen.

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be? submitted by: Sizzla
Probably GenCon Indy or Essen. GenCon is only a few hours away, so you'd think that would've happened by now.

10) Which game has your favorite dice? submitted by: Gregarius
My favorite dice used to be in my RPG kit, but then I designed a dice game that needed lots of dice and I took some of them. So now my favorite dice are split between my RPG kit and my prototype dice game. Oh wait, is that not what you meant? I can't think of a published game where I've said, "These dice are awesome." That's not to say I haven't encountered such a game, but I can't think of it. And really, if the dice were that awesome, wouldn't it be memorable?

0) As your GeekList entry, select a game you feel really needs an expansion, revision, or sequel, but never got one. (Or if you are a traditionalist and refuse to accept change, select the game you'd most like to play.) I'd love to see a reissue of Magic Realm. Or, more amusingly, perhaps even containing some of Hamblen's extended ideas for the game.

1) Explain your username. My first online alter-ego was a character in NarniaMUSH back in the late '80s. I took Rynelf because he's a canonical character in Voyage of the Dawn Treader - he even has two lines of dialog! - but he's definitely a (very) minor character. I've used the name elsewhere since then.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it? There aren't any games that I wouldn't play with the right group. Of games generally considered "good", I'd probably resist Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game as hard as anything: I've not enjoyed any of my previous plays, and I don't think I'd be an asset to any future play. While the theme is charming, the game feels (to me) like twenty-five minutes of fun packed into four hours of carping at one another. So I'd need a group of folk I really liked that somehow convinced me that the game would be better with me than without me: dreadfully unlikely. (I fail to include Cards Against Humanity as my example: I don't want to play that either - but I also don't see it generally being considered "good.")

3) What game would you most want to re-theme? I don't have any resonance with a WH40k theme or setting. So anything related there is a title I'd be happy to see with a different theme. But, equally, I don't care about any of those games I've tried: so I can't claim any are ones I'm wanting to retheme.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you? I've managed to work around any imagined deficiencies in the BGG database by having a shadow database of my collection on my laptop. The thing that I refer to "my" data for the most is the date a game entered - or left - my collection. (Or, equivalently, the subset of games that I owned on any particular day in the past.)

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that? Once upon a time, I enjoyed co-op games. Primarily with my kids, when they were little. They're less fond of the co-ops today; and I (as a result? or perhaps my change in opinion provoked theirs?) am also.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose? I don't own a copy any more, but I'd love to visit Japan in the time of Kaigan; that'd be cool.

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be? Chit Pull of random events? Nah; that's insufficiently random. I need some mechanism that irregularly generates random never-before-seen events. That'd be like my life!

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it? I'm pretty fond of the Android implementation of Hey! That's my Fish!: it sets the game up in milliseconds - instead of the usual nearly-as-long-as-to-play time that the "real" game takes. Even though Keldon's RftG AI is awesome, I still prefer face-to-face.

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be? I love the idea of The Gathering (that is, a (large) gang of friends that get together to play games for a week.) But I'm not part of that gang - so I'd not fit; not to mention that I'm quite uncomfortable around large groups of strangers. So I'm probably happy to leave my gaming as it is.

10) Which game has your favorite dice? Pete Hooper's custom dice (in my copy of Twilight Struggle; decorated with star on the blue and hammer-and-sickle on the red) are nice. Not a question I normally consider: I'm not generally a dice fancier.

0) As your GeekList entry, select a game you feel really needs an expansion, revision, or sequel, but never got one. (Or if you are a traditionalist and refuse to accept change, select the game you'd most like to play.)

I would love more kinds of dice for that game.

1) Explain your username.

In highschool, my oldest brother was called Bjössi Bóndi, to distinguish him from the other Bjössis in the school. Bóndi is icelandic for farmer. When the next one entered high school, he inherited the nickname, except he was Ingi Bóndi, but usually just called Bóndi. When I entered high school, Bóndi brother was still there so I couldn't inherit the name right away. Someone had the idea to call me BóBó instead, and that stuck. Some people insisted on calling me BóBó Bóndi though, or even BóBó Bóndabróðir.

When it came to choosing my first e-mail address, both "bobo" and "bondi" were already taken at hotmail. So I combined them to bobobondi but cut one "bo" so it became "bobondi", and have used it ever since.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it?

I will give every game one chance, at least. There are games that I really don't like playing, but if everyone else (usually my daughters) wants to play it, I'll go along.

3) What game would you most want to re-theme?

-

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you?

I'd like to be able to add which expansions were used in a game, and those would accumulate under the base game, instead of tallying up a play each.

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that?

I used to reject Space/SciFi themed games. Now some of my favorites are Galaxy Trucker, Eclipse, Among the Stars and Firefly.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose?

Takenoko

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be?

You'd have to ask someone else about that.
I've given this a good thught. The mechanism would be either tile laying or card drafting. Every card/tile would be useful in more than one way, but the key feature of every use would be missing. So the whole game would be about making up for earlier missing key features. Credit to

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it?

I play Dominion a lot on my tablet, as it's much quicker than setting up the game. But there's no game I'd rather play electronically than face to face, as the face to face stuff is what gaming is about.

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be?

Gathering of friends, I guess. I love the idea of getting together with friends (and their friends?) to play board games for a few days.

10) Which game has your favorite dice?

I really like the dice in Pickomino, as they're nicely rounded off at the corners and they make much less sound than many other dice. I like the sound of rolling dice, but it doesn't have to be heard across the building.

Bonus) What question should be asked on the next Geeklist?

Love the game. It just needs a few more mission cards that's all.

1) Explain your username.
My name, well almost...

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it? submitted by: Spleen
I have two that spring to mind. Fortune and Glory: The Cliffhanger Game and Candamir: The First Settlers. Both are steamy piles of s**t!

3) What game would you most want to re-theme? submitted by: Sandmanx82
Hmmmmm. Maybe Fluxx hahaha. Seriously, I would say San Juan but that was done successfully by Race for the Galaxy

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you? submitted by: Jonny5
I would love to see the game weight index allow for decimal point scaling for the individual. I would also like it to be further refined to include/broken down into 'complexity' and 'depth'. It is crass having to give a 4 rating for a game like Madeira and say Runewars. And why the hell does Twilight Imperium (Third Edition) have the same wieght as Madeira?

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that? submitted by: MichaelB
Good question. I actually wrote off Euros last year as 'Played a few nothing more to see here' kind of thing. Then I picked up a game called Madeira on a whim after Joel Eddy and Lance (undeadviking) were giving it props when on one of their ramblings together. Since then I am right into Euros. Not the lighter s**t but the heavier stuff.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose? submitted by: Corran Horn
Anything futuristic would be cool. But I have always wanted to be a god so maybe Asgard.

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be? submitted by: IEShadow
Chutes and Ladders seems to be pretty symbolic of my life retrospectively. So probably the whole mechanism of that.

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it? submitted by: DancerInDC
Maybe Race for the Galaxy

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be? submitted by: Sizzla
GenCon. Definitely GenCon!

I would love to see a revision of Keydom staying true to the Key-theme instead of the implementation as Aladdin's Dragons (which I also like but not quite as much) - even if it means that the value of my grail game probably decreases. laugh

1) Explain your username.
HRune = Hugo Rune - a character in some Robert Rankin novels, described by himself as the most amazing man that ever lived. I found this adequate. whistle

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it?
Diplomacy - there is no other game that I loathe as much.

3) What game would you most want to re-theme?
Earth Reborn with a Battlestar Galactica setting. Humans vs Toasters would be awesome. Not really a fan of zombie settings and this game could easily be fit into the BSG universe.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you?
I would love to see the external correlation tool be part of BGG internal statistics. Use that quite a bit to compare likes and dislikes.

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that?
Auctions. There was a time when I did not like auctions in games at all as I found them a time dragging nuisance most of all. Nowadays I like clever twists on auctions quite a bit.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose?
Currently probably Mahé - lying on a tropical island, watching tortoises race around in the sea.

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be?
Probably more luck than skill involved. laugh

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it?
I almost always prefer the physical game over the virtual one. The exception being Doodle City. The App is great and I rarely pull out my physical copy of the game.

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be?

Probably BGG.CON to experience its difference to Spiel.

10) Which game has your favorite dice?

Tough one. Going with the mix of functional+good looking here and pick the dice from Powerboats:

0) Revision - All I would need is for this to be updated...keep everything the same, just modernize it a little (app for your phone/tablet instead of VHS, better cards, etc.)

1) Explain your username. - My internet "persona". I was known as Altoid Guy in high school, because I would always carry Altoids around with me wherever I went.

2) "green eggs and ham" game - Yes. Battleship I even created a Geeklist about it... Worst. Game. Ever.

3) Re-theme? - Adding zombies to all space games. Because zombies.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you? - How many times you have owned the same game.

5) Name a boardgaming related issue - I'll have to think about that...

6) If you could leave this world - HeroQuest I think it would be sweet to delve into a dungeon and fight evil creatures.

7) If a game was made about your life - Probably co-op or friendly games.

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone - I only play Dominion and Ascension on my phone, but I'd have to say Dominion just because of setup.

9) If you could go to any gaming convention - BGG Con

10) Which game has your favorite dice? Quarriors! I love non-standard dice!

1) Username? I was in a band named Drainout and use it for most online names.
2) Green Eggs? I have no desire to try any 18XX games, I am sure they are fine, but not my style at all.
3) Re-theme? SmileyFace It's a great game with the silliest theme, makes it hard to get people to play without justification.
4) Stats? Games played by year released.
5) Changed Mind? Deck Building, I didn't like them at all until I played Trains. I still don't like many of them, but it's an open category to me now.
6) Universe to live in? Among the Stars, it's peaceful and there are many giant space stations to check out and do things at.
7) Life? Set collection I suppose since I have a handful of collections.
8) E-version? Elder Sign, it's quick and easy on the ipad. If I am going to take the time to set it up live, I'd rather set up Eldritch Horror and play that.
9) Convention? Spiel since it would also give me and excuse to check out Germany while there.
10) Dice? I really couldn't say. I usually use Chessex dice in dice heavy games and there has never been a custom die that I can think of that I've thought more then 'that gets the job done' about.

Bonus) Favorite silly game art?

0) As your GeekList entry, select a game you feel really needs an expansion, revision, or sequel, but never got one. Cleopatra doesn't NEED an expansion but it would be nice to have one. Extra things to build etc, the same goes for Colosseum.

1) Explain your username. At Uni I introduced the whole dorm to monty python and they enjoyed it. My nickname is from the dead parrot sketch which is my favourite.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it? I will pretty much play anything you put in front of me, once. There are games I will never play for a second time

3) What game would you most want to re-theme? I have no interest in re-theming anything really. As stated above I will pretty much play anything, so theme doesn't really concern me.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you? All I use the geek for is tracking and rating my collection, I suppose if the geek knew when I bought a new game and automatically added it for me.... then told be off for spending even more money

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that? Cant think of any. I am pretty easy going when it comes to gaming.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose? I think I would quite like to live in the D+D world. I could get on board with the life of an adventurer. Or Ancient Roman times such as in The Downfall of Pompeii but without all the fiery volcano death

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be? Push your luck?

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it? Nothing is better than gaming with friends

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be? Essen..... I am going this year though. Twas my birthday present from my partner

10) Which game has your favorite dice? Waggle dance dice are pretty cool, plus the game is good.

0) Game that needs an expansion
Homesteaders - A resource conversion, city building game with simple mechanics. This game is all about the buildings and the simple narrow focus of the mechanics should make an expansion relatively easy to do.

A very good game that could be even better with just some more buildings and possibly some new actions/options when passing on auctions. Ideally the new buildings would work when integrated with the base game so that not all buildings showed up in every game. A little bit of randomization would help each game feel fresh.

1) Explain your username.
When I first showed up at this site it looked like some rinky dink boardgame site that some guy threw together 15 years ago and forgot about. I picked the first stupid name that popped into my head thinking I'd never be back. Ooops. I later found out that crappy little site was the center of the board game hobby universe and they don't let you change your username!? I didn't feel like deleting everything and starting over just to get rid of my lame username so I'm just rolling with it.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) There are lots of games I'll try to duck and hide from but I'd probably be willing to try anything once.

3) What game would you most want to re-theme?
Peloponnes - What a great "super filler" of a game, but the theme and it's "boring" box art make it hard to get to the table. Change the theme to a sci-fi setting and it could easily sell like hot cakes! Instead of land and buildings, make them planets and technologies. Change the disasters into things like inter-galactic invasions and stuff.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you?
I may be cheating here, but I'd like to add two. One is a column that would show the average rating of each game from your list of geekbuddies exclusively and also the total number of geekbuddies that "want to play" that game. I know this info IS already tracked but hunting it down is very difficult and time consuming so I'd like to see these as available columns in the collection list.

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that?

The only thing I can think of was really a non-issue, just my own ignorance. When I first discovered Settlers of Catan, I thought what a great game!, it's so much better than all of the crappy board games that previously existed. WE NEED MORE OF THESE TYPES OF GAMES. I quickly started dreaming up rules and concepts for the NEXT Settlers of Catan and began formulating my plan for total World Domination! Very shortly after, I discovered BGG and found out that there was actually already a hobby with thousands of such games...so many games in fact that it's considered lucky to sell more than 10,000 copies of a single game. My dreams of creating the next settlers quickly faded but were instantly replaced with the wide eyed wonder of all of these awesome games!!! So, we don't really need more of these types of games. But I'll keep playing as many as I can anyway.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose? That would really depend on whether I was the "nobleman" or the "peasant"

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be?
Rondel - Although I've gone through several distinct phases in terms of career, lifestyle, etc I still sometimes feel like I'm just going in circles.

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it?
Not really. The human interaction and the social element of gaming is a big part of the draw for me. If I'm going to play a game online it would probably be something like a S.M. CIV game which has more detail and would be too fiddly to play as a board game..and is designed for solo play against the computer.

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be?
Essen. Mostly because I want to play boardgames in real castles while drinking beer from giant steins like all Germans do.

10) Which game has your favorite dice?
1775 - I usually hate dice, but this game is actually fun to me, so I'm going to have to go with the 1775 combat dice.

I'd probably be excited if they announced an expansion for Betrayal at House on the Hill. More scenarios, more rooms, a little more variety in some of the cards, and a nice little box to keep everything organized in.

1) Explain your username.
Arkeas is the name of a Psychic Warrior character I played in one of many D&D campaigns. I was hard-pressed to find a username here, so I ended up using the name of my character instead.

2) Do you have a "green eggs and ham" game? (I will not try this here or there, I will not try it anywhere!) If so, what is it?
Twilight Struggle, picked largely because it's the first game in the list that I absolutely would not play. War games aren't my thing

3) What game would you most want to re-theme?
I'm generally not into the whole re-theming thing and don't really understand the appeal of it. I'd love to play Viticulture but my wife doesn't think the wine making theme is very appearing, so I guess that would be my choice.

4) What board game collection statistic do you wish BGG could track / report for you?
Price-per-play would be nice; just take the price entered in the private info (whatever currency it's currently in) and divide it by the number of plays. I'd also love to be able to mark an expansion as just having been played (ever) but not recording the number of plays for it as I don't record those individually (there are far too many Carcassonne expansions to record after each play for example). Just mark it as "yes, I've played it" sort of thing.

5) Name a boardgaming related issue you have (at some point) completely changed your opinion full 180 degrees. Any apparent reasons for that?
The cube tower from Amerigo is the first that comes to mind. I thought it was going to be horrible and avoided the game for quite a while, though I eventually caved when my wife said she really wanted to try it and thought it would be good. I have to admit that the thing works a lot better than I was expecting after reading a number of posts on here as I really haven't seen any of the problems.

6) If you could leave this world and actually physically reside in the world/setting/time period of one of your games, which one would you choose?
Rampage. It'd be fun to be a giant monster just wandering around and smashing up everything, just for a day. I've also wanted to do that since I was 5.

7) If a game was made about your life, what would the main mechanism be?
Action Point Allowance. There are too many things I want to do and too little time to cram it all in, so it comes down to trying to figure out what to do within a given block of time.

8) Is there a board game that you play online, on your computer, or on your mobile phone that you think is better than playing face-to-face? If so, what is it?
None. I much prefer the interactive experience in person. Playing it online just loses a lot of the social element and isn't as enjoyable for me.

9) If you could go to any gaming convention you've never attended, which would it be?
Essen would have been my answer this time last year but my wife and I went there in October. GenCon is the next one I'd like to see!

10) Which game has your favorite dice?
Seasons has some nice, big, chunky dice and are incredibly easy to read.
