My very first review. Here is the link:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fb5gznAoJOE

(The volume of the video is a bit low so you might have to turn it up while watching it.)

Pedal beach is a lite family and kid friendly card game about beach cycling. It is a mildly strategic game that really puts your memory to a test. It is not very thematic or very highly replayable but it is a good filler or casual kind of a game.

My rating:
6 out of 10

Recommeneded For:
Gamers who often game with their family and/or kids.

I review Merchant Marine from Stone Circle Games. Here is the link to the review:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K56uxiU9_zU

(There is a pretty bad video lag at the start for a minute, i apologize for that. I have no idea how that happened.shake)

Merchant Marine is a 2-4 player competitive strategy game about 4 merchant ships fighting for taking the most cargo out of a ship which has sunk. You have to pick up and deliver the most cargo to the ports to win, but other ships can shoot you and steal your cargo!

My rating:
7.5 out of 10

Recommeneded For:
Gamers who love a take that element in their games

You can check out the YouTube Episode here:

https://youtu.be/zP7X_pJUjao

I interview PNP designer Jeremy Peet. He talks about the design process and other PNP and design related topics. We also do some general talk with some occasional humor.

Questions:
1) Why do you like to Design PnPs? What was the inspiration that got you into designing PnPs?

2) What sort if games mostly do you have fun designing?

3) What is the process when you design a game? Like do you start with the theme? Do you get all the mechincs and then streamline it later?

4) Very serious question, why are we helping the germs in stop the germs?

5) What do you think about the components while designing PNPs? Do designers who intend to make PNPs need to worry about the components? You tend to keep your games Component light right?

6) What's your secret to get playtesters? What advice would you give to designers to get playtesters for their PNPs?

7) What are some of your favorite PnPs? Do you craft a lot?

8) What's your most painful crafting experience?

9) You are a massage therapist. Do you consider playing your games with your patients? Have tried to do a massage therapy game?

10) What are you doing in design right now and where can we find you and your projects?

Thanks a lot to Jeremy for doing this interview! It was my first time hosting a Google hangout as well, so I think I will get better at all its features as we go on. This was the first episode of the series of interviews and chats that I hope to do on Print N Playthroughs that I call 'Talk With The Greats'. Hope you'll like it!
