Please do not delete items or sweeteners once you have listed them. You can always submit a blank want list for an entry if you've traded it away before the deadline.
OK - some simple rules - please take a few minutes to read them:
A) Anything from BGG, RPGG or VGG
B) Gift Certificates valued $10 or more (lower denominations can be listed as sweeteners). Unless specifically stated otherwise, GCs for "online game stores" will be interpreted as any retailer that stocks any kind of game, including Amazon, Steam, Target, etc.
C)GeekGold with a minimum of 400 per entry (lower denominations can be listed as sweeteners).
D) Anything else that's legal to ship (except cash).
E) All shipping costs are covered by the person listing the item. You must have a U.S. address to receive games. There will be no international shipping of items. The default is that you will ship for free to all US addresses. If you wish to exclude specific locations, you must explicitly state it in your listing. Otherwise the default is that you will ship for to all 50 states.
F) You should describe, as accurately as possible, the condition of both the components and box, language and edition of your item and any sweeteners. (Note: "Edition pictured" is NOT an acceptable description). You must also inventory the game's components and list anything missing and/or damaged. If you do not, the game is expected to be complete, in like-new condition and be the most recent English edition. You are also responsible for packaging and sending your game correctly -- any damage incurred in the course of shipping must be addressed and resolved by the sender. In other words, if you do not adequately package your game, and it arrives damaged, the onus is upon YOU to correct the matter to the satisfaction of the recipient, which may include up to replacing the damaged item with a new one that is not damaged.
Likewise, you will be responsible for any missing pieces not clearly identified in the item description.
G) To add sweeteners to an item, use the Insert Geek Link dropdown. Do NOT add links to any items unless you're including them as a sweetener. Similarly, if you are listing something which is a component, promo, or accessory of a game, list it either with its own BGG entry or using “Outside the Scope of BGG”. DO NOT LIST IT AS THE ITEM, IF YOU DO SO THE WANTLIST FOR THAT ITEM WILL BE REMOVED TO AVOID CONFUSION.
H). You may not edit an item in any way that would be construed as a downgrade (worse condition, removing a sweetener, etc.) Should you need to downgrade a listing, re-list the item, then change the old listing to an Outside the Scope entry that references the new item number. Any downgrades of an item after it has been posted will not be tolerated and may result in that item's want list being removed by the moderator, at the moderator's discretion.
I) GC and GG arbitrage is not allowed. Arbitrage is defined as trading a GC or GG for a larger GC or more GG. GC for GG trades are allowed, and vice versa. You are also allowed to trade GCs for other GCs of equal or lesser value.
J) I reserve the right to remove any entries at my discretion. This will likely only happen if a bad trader is reported, and even then, I will work with the parties involved on a case-by-case basis and may still allow them to participate if I'm satisfied that reparations have been made and that the previous incident is not likely to repeat itself.
K) Only errors by the moderator will invalidate the results. If anyone (myself included) checks the wrong box in Step 4, that's very unfortunate, but the trade must go on.
