Inspired by the 2015 10x10 Challenge I want to layout a challenge road map for my gaming year 2015.

1) Play 10 games 10 times
2) H-Index >= 15
3) Play 15 games 15 times
4) Play 15 games the first time in 2015

For 1&3 only plays logged in 2015 count.
For 2 my logs of all time count.
For 4 only games I logged the first time in 2015 count.

I will track my progress here and would be happy if someone joins me and adds his or her list to this geeklist

I'm curious if I'll reach all mile stones and would surely be motivated by anybody joining in cool

As a little motivation I donate 50 geek gold to be distribute among all successful participants finishing the challenge in 2015. Of course if someone else likes to donate his or her contribution will be added on top. I wish I had the talent to create a geek badge to offer.

For logging online as well as offline plays are eligible as long as it is the same game as the printed version and played with human peers.
I will change the games I count towards the challenge as I go if one game gets more play time than another.

Fast brain teaser to warm up for game night I always need some time to get into the game. And like to sit back and relax once I found a good move to let the brain cool down while the counter runs out. Even so if someone else finds a very nice move from time to time I just take the time and relax until the next tile is up.

Star Realms is a fast paced and the game we where looking for in Eminent Domain. Deckbuilding ship/fleet fight in space. Dominion is still superior because in Star Realms one is much more dependent to luck on draws of the cards available to buy.

Regarding Dominion I am still eager to see how Thunder Stone Advanced will hold up against it

We took it on our holiday. It's very good to play on small surface, big chunky pieces and not sensitive to wind. Worst case the board gets damaged even in wet scenarios and you print a new one.
Neat mechanic where you force your opponent to move one specific of his pieces dependent on your last move. Thus you can plan ahead but only a limited number of moves. Definitely use the standard or longer game variant. Single round games lack the mechanic where one has more valuable stones which in turn move slower but can push harder.

Very nice dice rolling game with a good flow. Didn't fully replace Race for the galaxy for us. You have much more control due to reusing of dice. Still remains a kind of multiplayer solitaire.

Best description yet: Knife fight in a telephone booth. It packs the right level of complexity as a filled up playing field triggers a fight and clears some board space.

Annoying is the fact that we quite regular hit unclear scenarios. Like can one move netted HQ with a move order? It is only prohibited to move itself...

Some games can go south based on bad luck of draw.

Interesting game from the creator of Glory to Rome. A lot of game as I like it condensed in a deck of cards. I like how in such a card game every game is different. With a complex board game of the worker placement class, game is different depending on what your fellow players block/which strategy they choose. Here the game is different because the game always represents a new setting. Of course good board games do that too and that's something I like

It can be a bit swingy especially in the base game. Like Glory to Rome the reprint's artwork is superior. Beautiful game by Iello. Had to hunt it down long enough to get hold of it.

After 10 plays it still stands strong. Games are always tight. We like the theme. You are more than enough in once way. Problem I see: The one finishing his/her line of collected tribes almost always wins, collecting the set collection bonuses.

Only played once. Gives me the impression of a fresh two player worker placement game with quite some strategic depth. It is very portable to take on a trip and I predict it to hold a big scoop of replay value.

In game 11-12 it became somewhat a burdon because we played it for the sake of the challenge. But than after a short break from it, it turned around and was fun again. Great for such a little game.

On game that stood the test of time. If is fast paced and rich in variety. If we wan't a deeper experience we play Thunderstone. But Thunderstone, Advanced and Numenera combined did'nt get as many games. Thunderstone is longer and a little strong in theme. Both games are quite solitary.

With the pocket version added in all expansions up to pillbug it has some recurring structures from game to game but in almost every game an unexpected move can change the tides if you keep exploring different approaches. If you don't it might get dull. The pocket version is such a great game for outdoor plays. No matter if in the sand, doesn't care about wind, rain what have you.

Holds more game than you might expect. Can be improvised e.g. with glass perls and thus played almost everywhere. And with the same setup you can decide to play go. So you choose the depth you want to go for.

Great game. Maybe a little more straight forward than LotR Card Game or Netrunner but in my opinion those form a beautiful trinity. With LotR being the Coop/Storyteller, Netrunner the asymmetric bluffing and Conquest the direct confrontation still packing a lot of interesting decisions. And it got my girlfriend on the table allowing me to share the great experience of a living card game with her.

We didn't plunge into real deck building yet, only a few minor tweaks here and there mostly pitting the different Warlord constellation against each other. Mixing factions will open up a whole new variety of possible combination.

I am also looking forward to experience the other LCGs which had to stand back due to this challenge.

Fun experience. Like it better than Dixit or Concept. Worked quite well for us as a game for two. Ghost is the more interesting role, as you get to hear what others make of your hints if they care to elaborate.
Some frustration with players picking every detail you are not even aware of ignoring the bigger picture. If those discuss long enough you can interpret everything in those cards.

Nice game of fast thinking and reaction. Scratches the same itch Ricochet Robot does on a lower logical complexity level. Of the very light fillers it turned out to be one of the more interesting ones for us. We play basic rules. Don't see any benefit in calling instead of grabbing or adding the "improvements" of the second version as an expansion to the base game.

Love the different feels of the decks. As a runner I am not sure if i earn my victory or am more or less lucky by accessing R&D, HQ, Server etc. at the right time to grab the con's agendas.
Changing seats I suddenly got the sensation of handling hot potatoes. Hand was quickly acquiring agendas with not enough ICE or credits to protect them. Con first hast to get its defenses on HQ, R&D and one remote server up. Money feels like the central element. If con has a lot of money it can practically raise any ICE. As a runner you need it for __every__ run / ice interaction.
We have the first cycle and first deluxe expansion at our disposal. Already there we have experienced that con can try to fortify or set out to kill the runner with marks and scorched earth for example. The later feels more like a gamble to me.

The game is interesting to me and I'd love to delve deeper into it. I still have not decided how much luck/bluffing driven it is and to which account strategy / skill is the deciding factor.

I am hooked to the LCG concept. Android being the asymmetrical one, Lord of the Rings the story telling one and looking forward in finding a symmetrical confrontation in Conquest.

Fasted paced game as you can play simultaneous. Nice filler but not more. Simple set collection first off based on the targets set by your civilization than by the resources you own.

I'd like to see if Fairy Tale has more depth to it.

It's not my cup of tea. It needs more action than the point once and only one guy selected by the "Pate" reassigns his/her gun. Felt stale instead of exciting to me. When it comes to bluffing games (is this even one?) I much prefere Coup and am looking forward to the expansions.

I really wanted to play this for a long time mostly due to Tom Vasel's recommendation. For me it is much too chaotic and i do not really get into the fun part about it. I'm willing to give it another chance but for fun party games till then I tend towards Dixit, Nobody's Perfect or Tabu.

I like that the player you attack is chosen random by the cards. So no hard feelings for turning on someone as it is on the game. But an effect like: all cards of all players are collected and then redistributed. That is pure randomness. IMHO tries to be much more game due to its components than it is due to its randomness. No point in strategy behaviour if the next event steers up the whole game. One of those games where I don't feel playing the game or commanding my fate...

Played it only once. Had an unchallenged win with the Moloch. We were not sure if it is reasonably balanced, but have far to little experience to judge. Question is: What can it do for you Neuroshima doesn't ten times better? Perhaps my view on it is to thematic but as it felt one sided and we played only once I'd say we didn't get a god grasp of the mechanics yet.

Medium card game with a nice flow. I don't know if it has as many strategies as Glory to Rome. I'd say I like Race for the Galaxy more but Race needs the expansions. Comparing base games alone San Juan could be ahead. But as I play RftG always with expansion I favor it.
When it comes to portability e.g. for a holiday trip I consider picking up San Juan as the base game with fewer cards than RftG already composes a complete game for me. But then again if I have to limit to only a small deck of cards I'd probably pack Glory to Rome/Innovation + Star Realms for the most gaming utility in a small package.

Well tell me what you think. I don't have San Juan in my collection. Glory to Rome and Innovation already live on my shelf. Is San Juan a worthy addition?

Theme wise I love Puerto Rico. But it is a much more deeper and tighter game to me.

I played the two player version. I like the theme of feeding your people have them "pair" and build huts for them. But you can feed them with rocks and clay - yummy

The two player game felt competitive as only one kind of color can go into one resource. Can't judge the game with more players but would assume if playing with more fellows there should be at least four to make the game feel tighter.

I'd prefer the multiplier acquired by the culture cards being open information instead of remembering what was bought by the other players. I'm sure it is easy going if you play it often, but when you only seldom revisit it, the memory mechanic is a bit annoying in my book.

Nice strategic game. Very nice brain burner with some nice domino effects. Hardly any luck involved. We like that kind of game. Might get lengthy with downtime increasing waiting for other players to finish with more and more complex planing as the game progresses.

Close quarter fight. Like Neuroshima for two players it feels like a six person knife fight in a phone box. I didn't particularly enjoy it. You could hardly grow or build up any tech or forces. By attacking some one you weaken them to the one side but open yourself on the other side. That sounds god. But it feels like one hardly gains on any move. It might capture the them and the interconnected web of powers in the world of game of thrones well, but it feels a little tedious and unnecessary lengthening the game. I'd say armies need a little breathing room to maneuver which I miss in this game.
