If you haven't played Rage before, feel free to look it up.
Plays like Wizard, or Oh Hell.

For this list, however, it is probably more the use of the 6 colour suits, though, numbered from 0 to 15, that'll lend itself to re-use for other games.

I saw somebody start one of these, briefly, but then he/she must've made it private.

I read about the card game Haggis and wanted to try it out. I used a Rage deck to construct one using the 2s-10s in five of the six suits. For the wild cards used in Haggis, you can, if you wish, use nine of the "special" Rage cards (three of each type). I found it easier to take a bridge size deck of cards and use J,Q,K from 3 suits.

BTW, Haggis is a fine game and I will more than likely pick up a deck when a general release is made. Until then, a bastardized Rage deck will suffice.

This game can be played with a Rage deck, plus a piece of paper or mat. Yet another wonderful use for the Rage deck, allowing many games to be transported easily in a minimal amount of space (while traveling, for example).

Goods cards:
10-15 in Red (Diamonds)
10-15 in Yellow (Gold)
10-15 in Blue (representing Silver)
1-8 in Purple (Cloth)
1-8 in Green (Spice)
1-10 in Orange (representing Brown/Leather)
11 of the Action cards (representing Camels)

Goods tokens, Camel token, Seals of Excellence:
List available tokens on a piece of paper or mat (something similar to the "scoring mat" that was posted for the game). Keep track of goods taken with markers for each player, or even easier and more portable, just mark with a pen or pencil.

Bonus "tokens" (Rage cards):
3 goods: Red and Yellow 1-3, Blue 2
4 goods: Red and Yellow 4-6
5 goods: Red 8-9, Yellow 8, Purple 10, Green 10

Put the bonus tokens/cards in three stacks and shuffle. Creating a space for the different stacks on the paper/mat mentioned above would be helpful so the different bonus tokens/cards don't get mixed up.

This one's a bit tricky....

Remove the 0s from the red and yellow suits. Shuffle the two together to make the property decks. The yellow cards are the houses from 1-15 and the red cards are those from 16-30.

Shuffle the green and blue cards together after removing the 1s. They make the money cards and have the value printed on the card.

Toss in some pennies and you should be good to go.

Remove 1-5 in the red, yellow and purple suits. They will serve as the traps - hit two of the same number and everyone still in the round loses.

Remove the 0 from the green suit and add in the 1 and 2 from the blue suit. These cards are the treasures - the blue cards should be worth 16 and 17, respectively.

Variant: To add in the statues that Incan Gold added, toss in 5 of the special cards.

This OOP Knizia trick-taking game is very easy to play with an Rage deck. For each player it requires the cards 1-10, plus one other card which in the original would be the "Ohio" card. I use zero for the Ohio card, but rage cards would also work.

Looks like you can make this one but will take 3 decks (each suit has three 1s).

There are five suits in the game with the following breakdown per suit: three 1s, two 2s, two 3s, two 4s and one 5). 50 cards in total. There are no images of the five variant cards, but I'm assuming they are numbered 1-5 (1 of each). The variant cards are multicolored, but I don't see why you just couldn't use the sixth color from Rage.

You'll also need 3 red cubes and 8 blue cubes, or something similar like 3 red glass stones and 8 blue glass stones - any two colors really.

I hear that card holders/racks help, but not necessary. Scrabble tile holders might work.

The rules are simple and can be found in the files section of the Hanabi & Ikebana game listing.

Utilising cards 0-15 in five colours you will be able to play this game.

Players ante a card and all cards bid in that colour are won if you win the subsequent trick. It's quite clever and quick; but nothing to write home about.

I just missed the Kickstarter for this and while I think you should support Gryphon Games, you could easily just play this with a Rage deck if you denote certain colors red and other colors black. Remove the zeros, 14s, 15s and all special cards and you have a 1-13 six suited deck.

Check out the Kickstarter video for instructions.

I haven't played, but, by reading the rules, I think it belongs on the list...

Four suits, ranked 1-8 for the players. Two suits, ranked 1-8 for the explosives. Since the explosive negative value is easily calculable (=rank-9), you can just tap the card (i.e. place it sideways) to indicate it has gone to its negative value.

Just found this game through someone's trade list and it's ALMOST playable if you shorten the game or stretch your imagination.
Trick taking game with 4 suits, 1-14 in each color. plus 4 special cards and a track of 12 cards layed out.

Shuffle the 0's and 15's of the 4 colors you're using in the game and lay them out face up in a row.

Actual Rules from Description:
"
The Finish card is placed at the end of the twelve Track cards. Players place their pawns at the opposite end of the finish. Players cut cards to determine the first dealer and the trump suit. In the four-player version of the game all the cards are dealt. (There are rule variations for two and three players.) The player to the left of the dealer plays the first card and the others, in turn, must follow suit if they can. The highest card wins the trick and advances one’s pawn down the track. The color of the card on which the lead pawn rests is always trump. No players may share the same space. If the next space is occupied, the player advances to the next unoccupied space.

In addition, the deck contains two Suit Yourself cards and four Sidetracked cards. The Suit Yourself cards are ubertrump and the players must follow trump if any trick is lead with it. Any player who takes a trick containing a Sidetracked card must move off the track and but that player comes back to the track on the next trick that player wins.

The first player to get one’s pawn to the Finish card is the winner.
"

If you want to play a short game, just use the 0's and 15's for the track so it's 8 spaces long. If you want to get creative, throw in some wilds and have trump be the choice of whoever is in last place (or first place or make it any color as long as it's not adjacent to the same color on the track). For the special Sidetracked and Suit Yourself cards, assign whatever Rage cards you like.

Use 1-12 in all six suits. Players match and steal numbers.

You can add more numbers to play with more than four players, which is recommended. Try 1-14 for 5 players, 0-15 with 6 players.
