I might as well do a normal 10x10 challenge as well as the hardcore.

Still fairly new at posting on the site so I'll be fixing up my post and making it look better over time.

Tracking my games using the boardgamegeek app.

My game plays for the year can be found here. Bare in mind that I'm doing both the normal and the hardcore challenge so some games will have to have at least 20 plays. Any games that are on both lists, I'll be adding their plays to the hardcore list before they get added to this one.

Here is my list of games for the normal challenge.

1. Carcassonne (Complete)
2. 10 Days In Europe (Complete)
3. Cards Against Humanity Three Cheers For Master Alhambra (Complete)
4. Splendor Castles Of Burgundy (Complete)
5. Machi Koro Hanabi Abyss (Complete)
6. Quarriors Love Letter (Complete)
7. Diamonsters Chrononauts (Complete)
8. Tsuro Elder Sign (Complete)
9. Forbidden Desert Takenoko (Complete)
10. Scary Tales Small World (Complete)

This list will probably change a little but over the year. Looking at trying out some app versions of games. Will keep you all posted, obviously

*** Edit 16/05/2015. Swapping out a couple of games. I bought Takenoko this week so adding that instead of Forbidden Desert. I've also recently installed the Android version of Small World to try out. So far I'm enjoying it. Still getting my head around the scoring and strategy, so I'm swapping that in for Scary Tales.

*** Edit 5/06/2015. Swapping Three Cheers For Master in place of Cards Against Humanity. I only really like playing CAH while I'm drinking and seeing as I've given up drinking for an extended period of time, I probably won't get to play it much. Three Cheers For Master was purchased two days ago and looks like a lot of fun. So, IN it goes.

*** Edit 14/06/2015. Swapping Elder Sign in for Tsuro and Chrononauts for Diamonsters. We've lent Tsuro to some friends for a bit and recently purchased Chrononauts. I was introduced to Elder Sign recently and think it's pretty awesome. Swapping that in but will mostly be playing the app version. It plays just like the table top game. Already got plenty of gamed logged for those two in the last few days.

*** Edit 18/06/2015. Just to prove that we're a little addicted to gaming of late. We've bought Hanabi and Love Letter in the last few days so I'm swapping them in for Machi Koro and Quarriors.

*** Edit 9/07/2015. More new games. More swap outs. You know the drill.

*** Edit 31/12/2015.... FINISHED!!!

This is probably on everyone's list. I'm fairly new to gaming addiction so this game isn't too old in my collection.

I have installed the Android app version of Carcassonne onto my phone so these plays will most likely be that version. It plays identically to the tabletop version with a varied selection of A.I. difficulties. It's quite fun.

Play 1: 12/05/2015

First try of the app version. I like it. It's quick and captures all the elements of the tabletop mechanics. A good way to fill in 10 minutes. I had a 4 player game and tied first place with one of the A.I. opponents on 60 points. Go us.

Play 2: 12/05/2015

A convincing 29 point win against one computer opponent. TAKE THAT MATRIX!

Play 3: 12/05/2015

A close one. One point difference against one computer opponent.

Play 4: 12/05/2015

Waiting at Grill'd for my lunch mate. Hark, the beauty of app'ed board games. I won, AND had a great steak sandwich. Double WIN!

Play 5: 12/05/2015

STOMP!!. This maybe a little easy. I'm using random computer opponents to test out their A.I. Might have to stick to the harder difficulties.

Play 6: 12/05/2015

Phoar! Human opponents. Tabletop version this time. I got shafted out of a good castle. Always the way but it was fun.

Play 7: 18/05/2015

Another win against 3 A.I. opponents.

Play 8: 22/05/2015

1 vs 1 game against Pat. He's in training for the Nationals in Melbourne. I hope he plays better than he did today.

Play 9: 24/05/2015

5 player game with some of the kids. About the only time you are legally allowed to beat your kids

They had fun and enjoy playing this.

Play 10: 8/06/2015

Quick two player game against an A.I. opponent on my phone. Tromped it.

I've only played this and the USA one in this series. So far this is my favourite. It has a lot more flexibility than the USA game. I'll have to borrow this of a friend or get him over to game with us more often. Either prospect is good.

Play 1: 18/05/2015

Thanks to Pat for lending us this game again. And for beating us once again

Play 2: 18/05/2015

As above. I need to cripple his gaming brain parts.

Play 3: 21/05/2015

I really need to start winning some games.

Play 4: 21/05/2015

Good thing I like this game, even if I seem to lose all the time.

Play 5: 11/06/2015

A quick game before school pick up today. Finally won a game.

Play 6: 11/06/2015

Two for two, today. Surprising, seeing the really bad draw I started with.

Play 7: 16/06/2015

First win of tonight's 10 days session goes to ME.. For once.

Play 8: 16/06/2015

Second win tonight goes to the fairer one.

Play 9: 16/06/2015

Third win tonight. Me again.

Play 10: 16/06/2015

Last game of the night goes to me. It's late. Yay me.. Bed.. zzzzzzzz...

Another swap for this beauty of a game. I borrowed a friend's copy and loved it so much, I ordered it in.

Play 1: 23/06/2015

First time playing this. Loved it. Quite a simple and fun game to play.

Play 2: 24/06/2015

Borrowed this of Pat. It's awesome. My other gaming friends seem to like it too.

Play 3: 26/06/2015

Two player game with cheeky. We didn't read the special two player rule so we ended up with massive scores.. Oops... Next time.

Play 4: 27/06/2015

Introduced a friend and his daughter to Alhambra. Hadn't seen him for a game in ages. Was a good catch up. They liked the game.

Play 5: 28/06/2015

4 players again. I like it best this way.

Play 6: 9/08/2015

2 player game using the 2 player rules properly. Fake Dirk had the majority in two key building lots but fell short in the end.. Take that artificial player.

Play 7: 28/08/2015

Five player game. I buggered the set up of the money.. Oops...

Play 8: 31/08/2015

Three player game. I got the money right this time. Blizted the game. Had a 31 point wall during the final scoring phase.

Play 9: 23/09/2015

Three played game. Came last

Play 10: [url=https://boardgamegeek.com/play/details/17029030]31/12/2015[\url]

Android app version on phone to finish the 10x10 challenge. Yay..

Love this game. Not much more need be said.

Play 1: 10/06/2015

My introduction to what many consider, Stephan Feld's best game. So far, I agree. I won. YAY me.

Play 2: 6/7/2015

First play on MY copy of this awesome game. I won again.

Play 3: 6/07/2015

Three player game using randomly assigned boards. Well... We randomly got the player board but chose which side to use. They were pretty brutal. Didn't win this time though. Didn't invest in any farming. Seems to be a big downfall when playing this.

Play 4: 12/06/2015

Four player game at home. Very close finish between myself an Pat. Pipped him by 3 points.

Play 5: 23/07/2015

Pat is finally getting the hang of this with a 2 point win.

Play 6: 30/07/2015

Again... Pat with a 2 point win.

Play 7: 18/08/2015

This was the 400th game I've logged since I started logging board games a few months ago. WOOHOO!!!

Play 8:1/09/2015

Under the groggy influence of phenerghan tablets, I managed to annihilate the other players with a convincing score of 270. I managed to go 12 turns without having to buy workers.

Play 9: 11/11/2015

Four player game with some very close scores. I managed to win by one point.

Play 10: 31/12/2015

First two player game of Castles.. It's not bad as a two player game.

Yet another recent purchase knocking a game out of my 10x10 list. I think this game is great. I love the undersea theme to it.

Play 1: 5/07/2015

We love Five Tribes so much, so we took a punt on the newest game by Bruno Cathala and we weren't disappointed. A lot of fun to be had with this.

Play 2: 6/07/2015

Works well as a three player game.

Play 3: 6/07/2015

Rematch with me winning again.

Play 4: 7/07/2015

What is it with me teaching a game to a new player and them beating me? I must be a good teacher

Play 5: 10/07/2015

Again with the new player beating me. Well done Merric. Introdued two new players to the game.

play 6: 20/07/2015

Three player game with me winning. Good old underwater fun.

Play 7: 9/08/2015

Another three player, another new player, anther time of the new player winning... Maybe we just suck at this.

Play 8: 26/08/2015

Again with the new player winning.. Matt not only won. But annihilated us. First time I've played a game with Matt, too.. Nice guy.

Play 9: 14/12/2015

Two player game with the Minx.. Not as much fun with only two players.

Play 10: 22/12/2015

Win for the tenth game of Abyss.

I didn't think I'd like this game. But after a couple of plays, I found myself enjoying the hell out of it. $15 well spent.

Play 1: 16/06/2015

My introduction to Love Letter. I laughed.

Play 2: 16/06/2015

My second game of Love Letter. I laughed. I won. I laughed again.

Play 3: 16/06/2015

I went back to the game shop to buy this. Ended up showing the owner how to play the game. Didn't win though.

Play 4: 16/06/2015

Two player game with Cheeky_Minx.. I kicked her butt.. hmmm.. Does that mean I'm better at writing love letters than she is?

Play 5: 17/06/2015

Introduced three new players to Love Letter. They all seemed to enjoy it. All is right with the world.. Oh wait.. I didn't win.. Most is right with the world.

Play 6: 18/06/2015

A couple of games down at the local. I won this one.

Play 7: 18/06/2015

Didn't go as well the second time around. Had a damn good laugh though.

Play 8: 21/06/2015

New player, Win.. I won, Win... Win-Win..

Play 9: 28/06/2015

Another win for me. Lovely.

Play 10: 30/06/2015

Play 10 equals a win for me. Please tell me this isn't the only game I'm consistantly good at.. Hahahaha...

A recent purchase which I'm enjoying both as a solo game as well as a two player game. I'm sure I'll enjoy it with more players when I get the chance to play it with more players.

Play 1: 10/06/2015

Solo game. 2/8 Chrononauts made it home.

Play 2: 12/06/2015

Another solo game. 4/8 Chrononauts made it home safely. This is quite hard. But a good challenge and I like the way it makes my brain work.

Play 3: 12/06/2015

First game with cheeky_minx. She won with her character, Timmy completing his mission.

Play 4: 12/06/2015

My turn to win this time. My character, Werner making it home to his timeline.

Play 5: 12/06/2015

A quick solo game while dinner was being made. I managed to win, getting all 8 Chrononauts home safely. Phew...

Play 6: 12/06/2015

An after dinner mint.. er.. I mean game with the lovely Cheeky_minx as she proceeded to get her character, Renée home before mine.

Play 7: 15/06/2015

Solo play. 6/8 chrononauts made it home safely.

Play 8: 15/06/2015

Cheeky_Minx won again, leading Timmy home to safety.

Play 9: 15/06/2015

Two player game. I won this time leading Fruitbasket home safely.

Play 10: 15/06/2015

Another win for the cheeky one. This time, Yuri made it home safe.

I got to play this for the first time recently and loved it straight away. Being a Lovecraft fan and an Arkham Horror fan, it's a no brainer for me to enjoy this game. Until I get a physical copy for myself, most games logged will be from the android app version which played like the tabletop.

Play 1: 7/06/2015

My introduction to Elder Sign. It really felt like a smaller scale Arkham Horror which I have since found out is what everyone thinks of it. We had to stop the game just short of winning or losing (It really could have gone either way) for lunch or we would have been devoured not only by Nyarlathotep, but also family.

Play 2: 9/06/2015

First time trying out the Android app version. Took a bit to figure out how to do all the things properly. Needless to say. I lost. Devoured by Yig.

Play 3:10/06/2015

Got it figured out. DAMN, this is a hard game. Devoured by Yig again. And he's the EASY setting.

Play 4: 10/06/2015

Devoured by Tsathoggua. This guy is a bit crazy, his special ability is doubling the cost of stuff in the souvenir shop. Nasty.

Play 5: 10/06/2015

YAY... Saved the world from Yig.. Take that, you dang stinky Elder Gods.

Play 6: 12/06/2015

Saved the world from Azathoth. Despite being a harder difficulty setting than Tsathoggua, I found Azathoth to be a little easier. So anyway. World saved, mystery adventurer unlocked and I then decided to purchase the three add on packs.

Play 7: 12/06/2015

Tried tackling the Mighty Cthulhu. I did pretty good getting 7 Elder Signs and finding R'lyeh before being devoured by the tentacled b'stard.

Play 8: 13/06/2015

INSANE difficulty level. Ithaqua.... I was doing quite well until a couple of wolves got out and multiplied every midnight. All of a sudden I had 16 monsters out in play. It all went down hill after that. I managed to get 9 Elder Signs before being devoured.

Play 9: 15/06/2015

Devoured by Yig. Had 7 Elder Signs but tried a silly risky mission that added doom tokens as a terror effect. Silly me, didn't read the mission card properly.

Play 10: 15/06/2015

A clear and decisive victory over Yig. The world is safe again due to some good luck in the mission card draws.

One of my first swap outs for the normal challenge. I bought Takenoko this week and so far, think it's pretty good fun. Tried it out with the kids last night and they enjoyed it too.

Play 1: 15/05/2015

First ever game of Takenoko. Also tempted fate by teaching the kids to play it at the same time we were learning it. Didn't go too bad. The nine and ten year old's got the hang of it and the two six year olds teamed up with cheeky_minx and I.

Play 2: 15/05/2015

Two player adults game. Yeah.. I like it. It's cute and fun. Just like me

Play 3: 16/05/2015

Introduced two new Takenoko players to the world today. All is right with the world. Oh wait.. I came last.. It's not THAT right. until.....

Play 4: 16/05/2015

...until... I win a game. YAY me... My faith in my gaming ability is restored.

Play 5: 21/05/2015

I really like this game. Cheeky won. The bamboo guzzling panda controller

Play 6: 21/05/2015

Well. I good a good revenge game score.

Play 7: 22/05/2015

Introduced Takenoko to a new player. He won. I had a good end game turn but not good enough to take the lead.

Play 8: 22/05/2015

I had a shocking draw of Emperor cards. I took a gamble on them and it failed. Oh well. Still enjoyable.

Play 9: 28/05/2015

Respectable win with 47 points.

Play 10: 11/06/2015

Finished off the tenth play of Takenoko by trying out Board Game Arena online with cheeky. She won.

This is the Android App version on my phone. It's good. I haven't played the tabletop version but I imagine that it plays pretty much identical in terms of rules and mechanics. Obviously plays a lot quicker due to computer movements and no setup time. It's fun.

Play 1: 12/05/2015

Having no idea how to play this game apart from watching the episode of Table Top on Youtube, I delved in and lucked my way into a win. Trolls are good, by the way.. I had no sound for some reason.

Play 2: 16/05/2015

Still having not much of an idea, I decided to have another go at about 3 a.m. when I couldn't sleep. Tried a three player game but the A.I. might of Tin Bot and Coconut Bot gave me beat down. I had sound this time, although at 3 a.m. it probably wasn't the best time to kick back in.

Play 3: 16/05/2015

The follow up game had me taking my revenge out on Tin Bot with a convincing 13 point lead at game end. Take that silly named robot player.

Also, the screen somehow managed to zoom in and lock up so I couldn't see part of the map. Luckily all the action was based in the area I was in.

Play 4: 16/05/2015

Getting the hang of the game with a win against Shrubbery Bot. I do love the A.I. names they use. No bugs this time around.

Play 5: 18/05/2015

I'm still needing to work on my game plan for this.

Play 6: 23/05/2015

First time playing this against 4 bots. Still good. I didn't win but I'm getting a better handle on playing this.

Play 7: 24/05/2015

Installed this on my older generation android tablet to see if it will run. It did after a lot of mucking about (I hate tablets, they are shit)

The bigger screen was good though. And one of the bots has a different name.

Play 8: 8/08/2015

A few games in the car on our way back home. 5 player game against 4 computer A.I. opponents. I haven't gotten any better at playing against this many opponents yet. Got my butt kicked.

Play 9: 8/08/2015

Two player game against one A.I opponent. I do much better against one opponent.

Play 10: 8/08/2015

I made a really bad choice on the first unit selection and paid for it dearly. Silly me.
