Were there any games out there where you can go forwards as much as you want, but never backwards? I'd like to know. For this geeklist, I'm going to ask that folks NOT include roll and move games. Nothing against them (for the most part ), but I'd like to do so since I have a feeling there can be too many of them, and I'd rather the focus be on other types of games anyways.

As for down the worker placement line of tiles as you'd like, but when your pawn figure reaches the end, it's done for that round.

Move along the game track, always forward. When you reach the end, your game is over.

In Morelli, you can only move inward, to a different color.
So, that's kinda like forward. Moves are irreversible.
Very slow.

A good abstract strategy game where pieces move only forward (directly or diagonally) and capture only forward (diagonally). First to reach the other side wins.

An unusual abstract strategy game for 2-5 players in which players move clockwise around the board: this track serves not only as a score track but also your current position determines what moves on the board itself are legal for you each turn: You place a piece onto a board square somewhere along a straight line from your current positon on the track outside the board. The result of your move gives you points, which cause you to go forward, never backward, along the track.

The only way your 'buyer' in town can visit even the shop immediately CCW from their position, is to go CW around the entire town square, and pay a Tax and a Tithe to do so. Even if they wanted to re-enter the shop where they stand, they'd be required to do that.

Can only move forward in Kamisado. And if you can't, you can't move, which gives your opponent a free turn.

Characters can't only not go backwards, they mostly can't go sideways either. There are some special abilities that allow backwards movement, but mostly you have to keep moving forward.
