THE 1st GREEK RALLYMAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Rules (pretty much the original championship rules from rallyman.fr):
Art 1. Greek Rallyman Championship Each Greek Rallyman Championship will consist of 10 races. Each race will be posted as a geeklist item stating the exact sequence of boards that make up the specials that are to be used.
Each race will consing of 2 stages. Each race stagewill consist of 3 specials.
Art 2. Championship points Points are awarded per stage and as follows: First position (based on time) gets 20 points, second 19, third 18, etc. up 1 point awarded to the twentieth overall. Beyond the twentieth place, the contestants will not receive a point, but will be awarded the satisfaction of having raced with the best.
(So, if someone ends first place in both Stages of a single race he will get 20+20 = 40 points.
Art 3. Racers Code of Honor This is a friendly competition. Our goal is to have fun. It is therefore imperative to respect fair play rules. Respect the results of dice rolls, even if these are frustrating or disappointing.
Art 4. Multiple Submissions Racers can practice using the specials posted beforehand, but once they make their first official run on the special, this is the time they must use (even if their scored a lower time during their practice).
Art 5. Multiple Racers on a Single Special If you are playing together with friends using multiple cars on a single session, the rule of dirt on shortcuts is used voluntarily. The races that draw a dirt card can elect not to leave a dirt marker on the shortcut. This is in order to avoid solo players having an advantage over players that like to meet with their friends and race together.
Art 6. Racing Rules The stack of gears card 3,4,5 and K is shuffled after every special. 1 Sisu card per stage (ie per result submitted). There may be specific rules for each race/stage in which case they will be posted on the event's geeklist item
Art 7. Team Ranking Contestants may create or join an existing team and state it in their lap time submission. Once you join a team you cannot join a different one for the duration of each championship. A team may consist of any number of players. Team ranking will be calculated for each race by summing up the points of the top 2 players of the team. Championship points for each team will be calculated by adding the teams individual points during each of the events (races)
Art 8. Participants Anyone that has a copy of Rallyman or can play Rallyman on vassal is welcome to join. Two types of total ranking will be calculated at the end of the championship. Individual rankings and Team rankings. However, each contestant will also be representing his country.
