Games that CURRENTLY defy (Tom) Vasel's Law
- Mark(kanoe)New Zealand
Background: In the Dice Tower Audio Podcast - Episode 418, Eric and Tom were talking about different Laws of board games such as the Jones Law for culling ones collection. Tom Vasel declared his new law for board games which can be paraphrased as:Recommend
Any game that is good will not remain out of print and will be eventually available.
Exception: Games that have issues with property rights and ownership may not ever be reprinted such as Dune.
This geeklist is to identify those games that CURRENTLY defy Vasel's Law.
Maybe some great games added to this geeklist will becomes available again to satisfy Vasel's Law or maybe some games will satisfy Vasel's law by being proven to be sub par or maybe Vasel's Law will be proven false.
Feel free to add other games but be prepared to defend it. Please double check that the game hasn't been recently reprinted. I was about to add Manila - one of Franz-Benno Delonge's best designs - only to discover it is back in print (maybe Vasel's Law is true).
Any ways please keep it civil and happy gaming.
