This list will primarily answer the question phrased in the title
I will not add a review by myself for each app, as I don't own every app and have no intention of buying apps for games I don't enjoy. But I did add some personal notes on most entries, of course feel free to add your personal experience with named apps to this list.

I originally decided to focus on games that are in the BGG top 125, to avoid an overambitious and clunky list of dozens of apps (My favorite apps at the time of first creation were for games ranked 110 and 115, therefore I went a little further than 100), but since many new games have entered the top 125, many of the apps have dropped down, so I expanded the list to the top 250. If a game drops out of the top 250, I will remove the app from this list, to keep this from getting too long.

Notes:
1) I have an iPad, and therefore my point of reference is the Dutch Apple Store. Listed prices are also based on this.
2) I do try to keep the list up to date as far as completeness goes, but I don't keep track of possible price changes. If you do spot a price difference from the current price, feel free te leave a comment and I'll be more than happy to update the entry.
3) Please do not use this list as a place to vent on how you hate apps, and boardgames should be only played in real life. I agree that that is the preferred way to play boardgames, but imho apps have their value, and this list is to help people who agree. If you don't like playing apps, just ignore this list.

Solid game. I don’t love it, but many many people do.
Havn’t tried the app yet.
Trying to find out if I can play this in solo mode (without playing against AI), if it does it will be an instant buy. If it does not I will probably buy it at some point anyway.

Great game, awesome app. Possibly the best app.
Much deserved winner of the Golden Geek for best boardgame app in 2017 imho.
It is very expensive for an app, but this game is too long for me to play normally (I did play the shortened versions of the first edition a couple of times, that was hard enough to squeeze in). The app speeds it up a lot and makes it easy to spread the game out over a couple of days, which for this game works great for me. Very happy with this app.

Good game, great app. I don't own the physical board game, but have played it before. I think they did a great job in creating the app version.

Very much deserved the Golden Geek award for best board game app in 2016.

(free to download, but turn limit makes it impossible to play a full game without paying)

I have only played the tutorial (which is VERY good) and started a first solo game, though, so maybe it will show up at some point.
First impression is that it's a great app version of a solid game.

I have played the physical board game only once, not a huge fan (sorry). Was happy to have an app to practice a little, so I will feel more up to the challenge next time I play, but have avoided playing it again so far, and will have to learn the rules all over again. Unfortunatly, the tutorial for this app is not great imho.

I have owned the app for a couple of months now... have tried to start it, but it's not a jump in and play right away game, really have to make some time at some point to learn how to play before I can try this one.

Yes I have it, I rarely play this, as it's not a big favorite of mine, both visually as in gameplay. It is handy when I know I'm going to play it in real life to catch back up on the rules. Since I play it so rarely, and the rules are not real easy to remember.

There is an app now for the revised edition, though (elsewhere on this list).

I do have this one, and it works fine still. Not a hater or a lover, but the same goes for the board game itself.

No, it does NOT have an app, that is there isn't one you can you use in stead of the board game.

Then why is it in this list?
Because there is an official app, but that offers functionality for use while playing the physical game. It does not allow you to play the game as an app without the physical game.
So just to inform people that, although it may look like there is an app for this, there really isn't one that would fit in this list.

I do have the app. I have never played the physical boardgamy and thought the game was quite overwhelming. Tutorial didnt help. I just havnt spent enough time (yet) to actually try to learn the game. I guess I prefer lighter games, even more so when playing using an app.

I did have this one, and it worked fine imo. I never actually play it anymore, but it was a great way to help me learn the game and practice a little before joining a game with experienced players.

Have played the physical game a couple of times and really enjoyed it.

This app had been expected for so long that it became a running gag, but it was finally released a while ago.
For me, this is not really the kind of game I like to play on an iPad. Do have the physical game, and love it. Much rather save it for plays irl. So I don’t know if this app is any good.

Alternatively, there is a an unofficial app, called Mystic Miracles, that was available long before the official app.
The unofficial app is pretty good and costs just EUR 1,99. For this price you do get to play 7 Wonders as you would expect in a 7 Wonders app, it just looks totally different (to avoid copyright infringement I assume, it uses different names and artwork for everything).

I do have this, and it's very well done imo.
As with eclipse, I used the app to learn the game before joining a game with more experienced players. Do use it every now and then to catch back up if I know I'm going to play a real life game of it.

Yes, it has an app (that is, it is part of Pool Break 3D)
Price: EUR 2.29

There were two Crokinole specific apps; Croq and Krok.
Both were free, but neither seems to have survived into the 64-bit age.
But there is an alternative way to play Crokinole; a game that is primarily a billiards simulator, but has Crokinole as one of the games you can play.
A little weird to shoot the crokinole disks with a cue, but other than that it seems to be working fine.

No, it no longer has an app.

Oh well, I did buy this. Tried it, but never really got into it.
Then I got to try the physical board game with some friends and love it. Great worker placement game.
Havn’t gone back to trying the app, though.
