This list is a way to keep all my painting projects in one place. The list is sorted in the order I painted the game components with the most recent at the top.

I paint for fun, not professionally, whenever I get a chance. Please be nice in any comments

All minis are varnished to protect them. The early items in the list (at the bottom) are also coated with Army Painter Dip, but I have since stopped using this and now use washes then airbrush 2 coats of gloss varnish and one coat of matt/satin as required. I found the dip masked too much detail on the minis for my liking. Also I have had several disasters with rattle-can spray matt varnish and so now airbrush the varnish in preference.

A work in progress.

So far only the probe droids are complete. A black primer, silver dry-brush and detailing.

I have made a solid start on the stormtroopers but got bored lightening up the armour after the black wash so these are on hold...

Part way through painting the base set. Annoyingly I have noticed that there are some bits of fluff on the minis in the photos, these were too small to be seen by eye otherwise I'd have removed them for the pics

The Silver Knights were the first I painted with a black base coat followed by a heavy silver dry-brush. Then a black wash. The cape was painted with my air brush before the silver was applied.

The archers were the same as the knights but with the added brass coloured bow.

The Hollow Soldiers & archers are both painted in a similar way: black primer, zombie flesh, armour etc painted, black wash, rust details with orange, eyes & teeth.

The Large Hollow is painted in the same way as normal Hollows.

The player characters were great fun to paint. I used a white base coat then painted armour first. This was covered with a black wash to bring out detailing. The warrior then has his fur & clothes painted and finally I painted his face and used a flesh coloured wash to show details. The Knight has cloth and gold details added last.

The only boss I have finished is the Titanite Demon (because he was easy to paint!). He has a black primer followed by stone grey and silver dry-brushes. Finally I painted the weapon silver and added the orange details to the runes on his face.

There are more to follow as I am currently painting the Sentinels and Ornstein and Smough

Some work-in-progress shots below:

I painted the awful data tokens with a white primer followed by base colours and washes to make them more pretty on the eye (hopefully!)

This is a great game with fantastic looking miniatures. The minis are made from a very flexible rubber-like plastic. They had bad mould lines that needed removing before I could paint. They are all finished except for the protective gloss then matt varnish layers that I will be applying when I get the chance.

To paint the Guardians I primed dark grey then added a black wash. I painted the glowing rune details with a bright green then used a light grey drybrush to finish the rock effects. All five took less than an hour, now only the rest of the 41 minis to go...

The Imps were the next I painted, these were also quick to do. A spray primer in brown followed by the loin cloth (painted in white) and horns (cream) then a black wash. I'm happy with how they turned out

The Trolls were sprayed with a blue/grey primer then drybrushed with light blue and green on the warts and shoulders. I then painted their faces and finished with a black wash.

Before I painted the Demons I used a scalpel to trim the crown (the model had the areas between the prongs filled in). Then the Demons were primed black with the red details then painted with a thinned white coat then with a thinned red paint coat. After this I drybrushed silver on the armour and then gave a black wash to the red areas. Finally I painted the eyes with yellow. These were the most time consuming of the minis so far.

The wizards were the most time consuming to paint. All had a white primer and then each was painted using the player card as a guide. Since they are so small it is difficult to show them properly in photos, I have tried my best

EDIT - I forgot to include the tree wizard. I will try and include a photo of him soon.

As a side-note something that really annoys me about the wizards is that they have inconsistent base sizes. Why not have a standard size? It would make Suzie more stable for start!

These planes are 1/200 scale proxies from http://www.armamentsinminiature.com/ which I have painted and added decals to. They don't have a copy of the Storch in the correct scale so I am doing without that plane currently...

The bases are Litko bases with added neodymium magnets.

All base game painted so far. Expansions ongoing.

The US army was painted with a white primer followed by a green base coat. The tracks on tanks, tyres on guns and detailing on troops was then done with a black wash to finish off.

The Nazi army was painted with a blue primer followed by detailing and a black wash.

Finally the wire was black primer, silver dry-brush and rust detailing.

Here is all the stuff painted so far:

I have also painted the sandbags (black primer, sand dry-brush) but these are in the other box so I haven't got a photo handy

These mini sculpts have a shoe and sock on one foot and a boot on the other. I decided to highlight this in the paint job since these are supposed to be incompetent gnomes! Also when I took the photo I noticed that they have a nose clip (like a professional swimmer might wear) that I couldn't see without zooming in. I now wish I had seen that and painted it in!

Battlestar Galactica and all expansions except Daybreak.

Cylon ships: black basecoat with silver drybrush and red eye detailing. I might return to the basestars at a later stage to add engine glow but when I painted these I was short of time.

Human ships: More extensive detailing over the correct colour basecoat. The new Vipers were painted white with blue details then I used a heavy black wash to give the desired overall grey colour.

Both were quick and easy to complete.

I had to be careful with these because the pieces still have to connect together once painted and varnished. If the varnish is too thick then they will no longer be able to be assembled into the ship.

This is not quite finished but I ran out of steam and moved on to other things. Perhaps I'll finish it one day...

I had a frosting disaster with spray varnish on these minis which has lead to a thicker than planned varnish coat when I repaired the damage. I am still happy with the cartoony look.

These were painted by hand then finished with Army Painter Dip to provide resilience. In retrospect I wish I had matched the colours to the original base game since the cards which help identify player colour can no longer all be used (I just didn't have all the right paints available!).

The first boardgame I started to paint. I am not happy with the way these have turned out in retrospect and wish I had spent more time on them! At least I managed to find newspaper and magazine details to improve their look with basing:

(found here: http://blog.25mm.fr/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Bio..., http://s257.photobucket.com/user/Fife1812/media/blogurizine_... and http://s257.photobucket.com/user/Fife1812/media/Zombicide_pr...).

These also suffered from the same varnish frosting as some other projects

Some samples below:
