The "games" you don't play so much as you watch happen to you. Feel free to add to this list, but bear in mind, these are strictly -NO- decisions, not "very few meaningful decisions." Monopoly does not fit this list.

Just to clarify, a game has decisions if you can improve or damage your odds of winning. If you can intentionally throw the game, there are decisions.

I'm constantly surprised at the apparent popularity of this one. They're always at the cons, always in the stores, catalogs, etc. And yet, -it's not a game-.

A little "didja notice" from the Milton Bradley edition: At the bottoms of the ladders, the children are doing good deeds, and at the tops, they are being rewarded. Similarly, at the tops of the chutes, they are misbehaving, and at the bottoms, they are being punished.

It's a totally deterministic game -and- a morality play!

No decisions....but still a fun activity. Think of it as "Life" except enjoyable due to getting to play with Play-Doh.

Insofar as I can tell, this fits the list. I can't imagine any decisions to be made, unless you got to throw a ball at the dice...

Another children's classic with absolutely no choices to be made. Roll and do what the dice tell you.

Why do children's games de-emphasize decision making? Isn't that an important element of development? Or are we trying to teach our children that the world is a bleak landscape of pre-destiny with no free will?

War is, I think, the king of all 'no decisions allowed' games, and this version, with its overbearing moralizing, is currently (and may well remain) my only 1 rating on BGG...

The rules state that the table rotates in a single direction. All actions are determined by that, leaving the game very mechanical. A player can leave the room without it affecting the flow of the game.

We play that the player may choose the direction to rotate, giving them a decision (and the ability to go for one resource instead of another, avoid the robber, or put another player onto the robber).

Roll, move up the tree in the specified path (if you land on someone when they're next to an opening in the tree, knock them in), drop down with a "honey-ball" when you reach the top. No decisions.

Not a single decision to be made. If you land on an unowned property, it's yours. If not, you pay the owner some cash.
