On a night of illness and choral events, 5 brave souls took to an "alternative factual" 1920s Europe to make their countries great again. And no walls in sight!

Played by: Andrew B2, T101 James, Jon, Roy and EP Chris (new to Roy)

After ploughing through the rules, which always feels longer than it needs to be, we dived in. Faction details below.

I was playing the Crimean Khanate and started off focusing on getting all my workers out and my key enlists (upgrade and deploy) done to reap the rewards from Jon and James who were sat either side of me. It's the first time I've found myself pushing for enlists first. I noticed James coming for some wood near my territory in a (not aggressive move), after capping out the power track I decided to send him home and managed to steal a 5 power card from him with my faction ability. In the same turn I complete my objective giving me 5* on the board, but with only three territories in hand and being in the bottom section of the popularity track, I wasn't quite sure of victory.

This meant I stalled a little trying to move for more territories, gain a building bonus and push myself up to the middle pop section.

This gave everyone the impotise to starting getting stars down and that they did. There was much dreading out and chasing stars as everyone wasn't quite sure when I would end the game.

In the end I managed to get to the middle pop track and deploy my last mech. The scores were:

EP Chris (Crimean Khanate): 77
T101 James (Rusviet Union): 66
Roy (Nordic Kingdoms): 62
Andrew B2 (Polania Republic): 40
Jon (Saxony Empire): 35
