This game relies on a equal number of role cards from a series of different roles to form a draw deck. It dawned on me, what if after a few "normal" rounds, I switched out the deck for an entire deck of the "Duke" role cards. You can imagine the hilarity as people drew the same card over and over.

Like many hidden role games, individual roles are assigned randomly and secretly. During a particularly raucous evening of gaming, I purposely left out the fascist role cards and made everyone a liberal. Game play proceeded as normal for the first couple of rounds, until the liberal polices outnumbered the fascist polices in the draw deck, then the paranoia and accusations took hold. Quite an interesting social experiment.

As a statistical aside - There were still a fair number fascist polices on the board, even with everyone working together (albeit, still secretly) to avoid it.

One player writes down the name of an object, then secretly passes it along to all but one of the remaining players. The other players try to collectively draw this object, with the understanding that one of them does not know what's being drawn.

I decided to shake things up and gave every player a completely different object to draw. Chaos ensued.

A classic great story about Combat Commander: Europe by Chick Lewis, who played against someone who was either a great troll or a terrible cheater, and "tuned his deck" before they played...

I always thought it would be an interesting experiment to give everyone a cylon card and see what happens.
But it would probably be figured out after every mission fails with negative points

Give everyone a spy card. Madness.

Or give nobody a spy card. Probably not as mad, but people might go crazy trying to figure out the non-existent spy
