I love Clash of Cultures and found out about the Civilizations expansion soon after my first game. Unfortunately, I also found out it is out of print. After years of looking into home brew versions, I found a copy online just outside my price range. I haggled the price a bit and got a copy of this added to my collection.

Not the rarest game in the world, but after watching TheOneTAR's video on this, I wanted to own this. But at that point it was out of stock everywhere, couldn't find copies of it. Jump forward to 2017, and just as I'm getting ready to leave town for a few days I see it pop on Amazon for a $13 and I jumped at it. Happy to have this in my collection now.

This one is a white whale mostly because of it's limited presence in retailers. Not many places to get this game, but after starting to develop my own space based board game, I wanted to own this. After a while of calling around to different stores, I found it online from a Canadian retailer and ordered my copy at a good price. After that, I was in contact with a store on the other side of the country and picked up the Outer Planets expansion too.

This one is a classic game that I want to get. I got excited once because I walked into a Half Price Books and saw a copy sitting on the shelf, only to find out it was the 1984 version instead. I've almost bought Rex and The Dice Must Flow to get a Dune game in my collection, but decided to just wait until the day I can find this one somewhere within my price range.
