Bay Area Games Day is the largest and longest-running regular event for open gaming in the San Francisco Bay Area. We meet every 4-8 weeks at the Los Altos Public Library, 13 S. San Antonio Rd., Los Altos, about 15 miles west of San Jose. Further information about the group and the related Silicon Valley Boardgamers meetup is available at our Yahoo email group: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/gamesday. To see what we've played in the past, check out Games played at many Bay Area Games Days.Recommend
Upcoming Games Days are scheduled for July 16 and August 12. If you want to be notified about upcoming events and participate in discussions about what you want to play, it's strongly recommended that you join our Yahoo email group using the link at http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/gamesday.
Our regular weekly meetup is the related Silicon Valley Boardgamers, which happens every Tuesday evening from 6 PM to 10 PM at Game Kastle in the San Antonio Shopping Center in Mountain View, at 550 Showers Dr., Mountain View.
Our latest meeting on Sat. June 10 went our usual 10 AM to 11 PM. Attendance picked up significantly, probably due to the organizer (i.e. me) doing a bit of advertising on meetup.com, so that we had probably 50 people in the room at the peak time in mid-afternoon.
Here's a list of what we played:
