Overview
"Xian", or the "godly spirit," is the final form that a human can become through the act of training and enlightenment. A Xian is practically immortal, and possesses godly powers.

During the early Qin Dynasty, many Taoists are obsessed with the idea of Xian, and study the act of Xian intensely, looking for all possible ways to increase their chance of enlightenment. Many fascinating legends are the results of such obsessions. During the game, players will travel back to the ancient kingdom, and attempt to attain enlightenment by controlling spiritual stones and "Qi," the life energy.

By studying under Taoism, players will race to see who can rise among their peers, and be the first one to become a Xian and achieve immortality.

Overview
Temples are the most mysterious, yet intriguing objects in the world. In these ancient and magical ruins lie dark and deadly curses, but also powerful arcane runes. Only the most courageous and adventurous curse-breakers may enter the temples, defeat the dark curses, and bring back the arcane runes for the magic academy for its glorious bounty. Through teleportation, you need to collect crystals of various colors from all over the world and put them on your very own crystal-grid in the correct order. Only then will the power of the crystals fuse together and be powerful enough to break the dark curses inside the temples. Are you able to rise among your peers and become the most reliable and professional curse-breaker the magic academy has ever seen?

In Mystery of the Temples, players take on the role of a curse-breaker, traveling between the wilderness and the temples in order to collect crystals of various colors. By fusing them on your crystal-grid in the correct order, a dominant power is unleashed, and the curse is broken, allowing you to retrieve the arcane runes as well as the glorious bounty from the magic academy. When five curses have been broken by a single player, the game ends and whoever has the most victory points wins!

Hand Management / Card-laying

MSRP: €13 / $15
Essen price: €13

Overview
Birdie Fight is a card-laying game about birds trying to achieve dominance in the forest. Players are forest spirits trying to secretly guide their chosen bird to success.

Arrange 10 berry tokens (with different victory points) on the table to form a 5 x 5 grid from their intersections. All bird cards (numbered 1 to 7 in 4 colors) are shuffled and randomly place one card face up in the center of the grid. Deal remaining cards evenly to all players. On a player's turn, they must play one card from their hand to the 5 x 5 grid.
Whenever a row or column is full of 5 cards, the majority is checked. The color with the highest total takes the berry token for that bird. Tied totals are ignored, so a low value card may win the nut token, too.

When all 25 spots are filled, the round ends and the last card left in players' hand are their scoring color. The game is played over two rounds and the player with the highest scores wins!

Overview
The quiet village is no longer peaceful. Under the influence of a blood moon that appears once every hundred years, werewolves hiding amongst the villagers feel their blood flow and thirst for action. The cunning and sly werewolves do not easily reveal their hiding place, so how can the naive villagers survive? Will they opt for self-preservation — or stand up against the werewolves? As the night passes, players' survival instincts and quickness of mind are tested, and the treacherous and fickle villagers are the most unpredictable terror of this dark and eery night.

Village of Horror is a werewolf-themed card game in which players choose factions in the game and help their respective factions win by playing different cards. Only the winner will live to see the sun rise!

Overview
The consumption of fossil fuel and releasing of greenhouse gases yield the global warming. Around the north pole, the last icebergs are melting and the polar bears are facing the risk of being extinct. The players form a scientific organization. They try to collect data about climate change to persuade the governments to change their energy policy. At the same time, they also need to prevent polar bears from sinking into the freezing water.

Each player drives a rescue ship with different abilities to complete the mission on the Arctic Ocean. As long as the players collectively gather enough data, they win together. However, if too many polar bears sink into the water, everyone loses.

Overview
Numeracy Legends and The Gluttony Dragon is a logic thinking and group confrontation game. Players are divided into two teams, the heroes and the boss (Gluttony Dragon), equipped with weapons and armors, trying to defeat one another through speculation of the opponents actions.

Step 1. Choose character roles. All players are divided into two teams, the hero team and the Gluttony Dragon. Survive and beat the other team to win the game.
Step 2. Each turn, the dragon player draws two equipment cards, chooses one, and gives the other one to the hero team. After the heroes decide whom to equip, all players secretly choose a combat token and present it together.
Step 3. A calculation is made for the turn by determining the combat type each player chooses along with adjustments of weapons and armor. The team to first defeat all members of the other is the winner.

Players can change their probability distribution through memory and decision making.

Step 1. Select a tent as the starting point. The goal is to successfully deliver cupcakes without running out of them on your way.
Step 2. In a players turn, one can choose from three actions: move along the tiles and feed a creature with cupcakes; stay and supply a cupcake; or stay and collect an ice cream. Ice cream can only be used for specific races of creatures, but can be used over and over again.
Step 3. During the race, should a player run out of cupcakes, one have to start all over again from the starting point. The first one to reach the goal with at least one cupcake remaining is the winner.

Overview
Numeracy Legends and The Rainbow Unicorn is a route arrangement and resource allocation game, including two actions: movement or collecting resources. Simple as it seems, a certain amount of route planning is required to find out the most efficient route, creating a challenge of observation and abstract thinking.

Step 1. Set up the map with food ingredients and transportation, then choose any food spot as a starting point. The goal is to be the first to collect enough ingredients to make a cupcake.
Step 2. Players can either move along the roads by paying transportation, or stay and supply more transportation.
Step 3. Reach the magic circle after successfully collecting enough numbers of ingredients. Note that a same type of ingredient cannot be collected twice.

Tile Placement / Take That

MSRP: €21 / $25
Essen price: €21

Overview
Citizens await the completion of a new park, and the players are architects tasked with its design. Be it building a playground for children to play on, installing benches for people to rest after a long day's work, planting trees where birds perch, sculpting a lake where fishes swim, or growing bushes where cats can hide in, players are responsible for planning the layout of the park.

Mini Park is a tile-laying board game. On their turns, players randomly draw different types of installation tiles, then build the park according to placement rules. Meanwhile, players must also seize opportunities to place characters onto corresponding park installations and score points. When the park is completed, the player with the most points wins.

Overview
Drink shots, or get shot? That's a good question!

Welcome to the life-betting party! A bunch of desperadoes have gathered together — not to bet money, but to engage in a more primitive way to reach to the top: a drinking game. In this party, you can either be wasted or get shot. Only the fastest person can leave here alive.

Lethal Party is a speed game for 3-10 players in which you try to be quick and sharp to grab the correct card to fire your bullets at your opponents. Whoever can survive to the end is the sole winner.

Overview
Iberian Rails is a share-holding train game in which players employ services of characters, some more reputable than others.

Each round, the players select their characters using an original character-row mechanism, and then the railway companies take their turns. The player with the most share/s in a railway company (the CEO) controls said company, directing the company to do one of the following on its turn: build track/s; openly sell a share, and then trigger its dividend payout; and secretly sell a share, and then trigger its dividend payout. However, things aren’t so simple; the characters may have something to say about these well-defined plans!
At the end of the game, a double dividend is paid out for all the shares, and the investor with the most money wins.

Overview
Cang Jie is one of the legendary figures in ancient China. As legends foretold, he was inspired by the footprints of animals on the ground, and began to create all kinds of different symbols according to the forms of all things in nature, hoping to replace the conventional, yet unreliable, knot tying way of remembering things. For conveniences, Jie decides to name these symbols "Zi", which means "character". This is the origin of "Hanzi", the "character from Han dynasty".

In Hànzì, players travel back 3600 years and serve as one of the pupils of Master Cang Jie. As you learn from the Master, you will create new characters that serve as the foundation of modern Chinese culture.

In game terms, you lay out double-sided cards on the table that show the old letters on one side and the newer traditional letters on the other. On a turn, you choose a task card that shows a theme and score points by identifying two of the many kanji that match your theme from among the old letters. Whoever first earns ten points wins.
