Yet another new racing game...
BUT, as a racing game fan, I have to admit it's quite good. Very unique system, akin to HomeStretch, one of our favorite horse-racing games - where you own a car/driver, but can bet on others. Your card plays also move multiple cars. Very fun, we played twice (I insisted)!
Basics:
* Deal cards, then bid on each Car + Power combo (what you paid will be deducted form score at end).
* Race begins, players take turns playing cards. Each card moves 1-6 of the cars a set # of spaces, as determined by the active Player. (a lot of "accidental" blocking and other "take that!" elements here).
* At 3 "checkpoints", all players get to place a bet on ANY car to finish 1st thru 3rd.
* Score at end based on YOUR car's finish + the finish of any cars you bet on - your car's auction cost.

With Glory To Rome moving to Colorado, I've been wanting to try Chudyk's "sequel"/follow-up game for awhile. End of the night wasn't best choice to teach this one (a bit "heady"), and I fumbled some rules that Zack fixed for us. I enjoyed it, the others seemed to also. We'll definitely be digging into this one some more. Same card-play concepts as Glory To Rome, with different theme (Buddhist Temple craftsmen this time), but a bit leaner and trimmed down. I liked it.

Had doubts about this as "just another secret role/traitor social deduction" game...
But it wasn't as awful as I feared. We played twice.
Reds def Feds both times.
I blew the 2nd game with a horrible card push to Teddy (that ended the game), mainly because I thought I was on the other team... (in my defense, my role had possibly been switched twice since last I saw it).
