Coin capsules are an attractive way to protect round cardboard tokens, especially those which are shuffled and used for random draws. Using coin capsules also adds heft and makes the tokens easier to shuffle within a draw bag, since the tokens no longer clump together.

The round cardboard tokens I am referring to are ones like the combat tokens in Runebound 3rd Edition or the chaos tokens in Arkham Horror: The Card Game.

Coin capsules are used by coin collectors to protect and seal their coins. These are relatively cheap and readily acquired on online shopping sites. (I use one named after a certain large river in South America.)

This game has tokens in three sizes:
* 5+5 large square, 29 mm side, 40 mm diagonal
* 0+13 small square, 22 mm side, 31 mm diagonal
* 145+170 round tokens, 22 mm diameter

The first number is for the regular second edition; the second number is for the deluxe second edition with the other two expansions thrown in.

Going to try a bit of a different formatting here, grouping by size and sub totaling by each size:

Small: 19mm or 19.5mm capsules
48 Clue/Doom tokens
30 Focus Tokens (6 each of 5 types)
24 Remnant Tokens
102 total capsules

Medium: 26mm Capsules
18 Mythos Tokens
10 Scenario Markers
6 Investigator 'acted' Tokens
34 total Capsules

Large: 46mm Capsules
5 Anomaly tokens

Personal feelings before expansions: I'm not expecting more Focus tokens, maybe some Clue/Doom, Damage/Horror/Money, and/or remnants might be bolsted down the line as fillers for punch boards (speaking from experience with Elder Sign and Eldritch Horror).

Investigator 'acted' tokens and Anomalies are most likely not going to be added to either, but we might see some new anomaly types in expansions or more tokens if any of the expansion scenarios add in a 6th or 7th hex to the map.

Mythos and Scenario Markers might be added to depending on how the other scenarios pan out with their design. I know that one off hand uses 3 unique colors, but there's already 4 colors present on the underside (Red, White, Blue, Green). All in all, it doesn't hurt if you have extras on hand from the capsuling, especially since none of the categories are a multiple of 5 (for 25 packs) or 10. At least it's all standardized with Eldritch Horror and the LCG that you can use the extras from those games (Anomaly tokens fit into the same capsules used for the gates.

20mm coin capsules for the basic tokens in Dice Throne. Roxley's website says both Season 1 Rerolled and 2 big boxes have 118 status tokens each.

Season 1 Rerolled: I don't know where Roxley gets those numbers, but there's 84 tokens, with 8 spares. Also Paladin: 1x30mm. Treant: 3x21mm, 2x37mm, 1x??

Season 2: I capsuled my game awhile ago, but my notes say I used 30mm for the extra tokens in Seraph v. Vampire; and added 37mm, 35mm, and 32mm for the extra tokens in Pirate v. Artificer.

Adventures: Don't capsule because they won't fit in the custom tray. Base tokens are 20mm x 93, with assorted odd token shapes going up in size from there.

I'd found sellers on eBay that sold quantities of 10 tokens for cheap to get the additional ones.

26mm capsules (and possibly, but untested, 25mm) can be used for the larger tokens.

Tokens which can be capsuled with these (counts according to the core rulebook):

6x Clue
8x Stance
8x Voidgate
15x Monster Condition
16x Epic Monster
35x Status Condition
= 88 tokens

The Freaks & Psychos expansion adds 3 Epic monsters and 1 status token (the "missing" 4th Infected token).

The Mean Streets expansion adds another 2 Epic monsters.

Note, however, that the required storage space skyrockets when the tokens are capsuled. i only capsuled the Clue, Stance, and Epic Monster tokens (29 tokens (34 with the aforementioned expansions)).

The many small tokens measure 20mm, or a small fraction more than that, and will fit extremely tightly in 20mm capsules but they won't come out again without prying them out (and thereby damaging them) or cracking the capsule (possibly damaging the token in the process). Thus 21mm capsules are a safer bet. The only small tokens i capsule are the core game's 1 Settlement and 3 Bounty Level tokens, and those are only capsuled to make them more prominent on the board.

Fit perfectly (snug), a few very can be tight and require a little bit of force. Understand that if you use these that you will have a hard time removing them.

Purchased for the base game and all the expansions, very happy with this item.

EDIT: I also have 2 copies of Dungeon Twister 2: Prison, and the round tokens are slightly smaller than the original version. Most of the capsules can be opened and the tokens will fall out. There is no movement/rattling and actually are better sized than for the original game.

I didn't include the square cargo/contraband and passenger/fugitive tokens, as they have to fit on your player board, and putting them in capsules would probably make them too large.

I may have the large and small haven tokens mixed up between Pirates & Bounty Hunters and Blue Sun. I purchased my base game used with those expansions already mixed in, so I'm not sure which came from where.
