Hi Santa! Thank you for participating this year!

1. What games or game themes are you most interested in this year?
Obviously, I follow the Design Contests on BGG pretty closely and have many of those games.

I'm always interest in historical wargames but also enjoy Euro and card games.

2. What games have you put off making for yourself and would love to play?

I really love solitaire wargames. Here are a few ideas in no particular order:

Red Aurora - solo wargame
Rogue State - solo wargame
Convoy Commander - solo wargame
Able Dog Skyraiders over Korea - solo wargame
MASH: Field Hospital – Vietnam - solo wargame
Mower Mania
Elemintary
Pasture 51: They Came for our Angus
Browns Island
Sky Duel 1945
The Shivil War
Carter's Quest
Galaxy Conquest
The Red Masque
The First War
Beneficiary
Allegiance
Stop the Germs!
De Stijl
Roma Celer
Eminent Domain: Microcosm
Dune: The Dice Game
Dune: The Art of Kanly
Lines of Battle: Quatre Bras 1815
Wicked Pizza
Pointy Hats
Roll for the Tournament
Feirmeoir
The Dragon and the Emperor

Just In Case Games
Just in case you're feeling incredibly generous, I'd love to get one of these.
Merchant of Venus (Dathkadan remake)
Pavlov's House

3. Are there any games or game themes that you prefer not to get?
I'm pretty open in terms of theme. I don't really care for Warewolf/Mafia style games.

4. Do you play solitaire games, small group games, large group games or all of the above?
I play solo a lot but my wife and I also play two-player games. It's rarer that we play in larger groups but not impossible. One and Two-Player games will get the most attention in my house.

5. Do you play games with children? If so, what ages?
I play a lot with my eight-year-old and am trying to ease my five-year-old into the hobby. Themes about princesses, fairies, and cars are all big hits with them.

6. Anything else you enjoy or think would help Santa find the right gift for you.
I've listed a few PNP games that are not free. Please don't feel obligated to buy anything for me. I'm perfectly happy with free PNP games. Mostly, I just want you to have fun with the exchange! Also, please don't feel limited to my list of games from above. I'll be happy with anything you think I would like.

I've built tons of PNP games but my games owned list should be mostly up to date. You can check there to see what I already have and what sort of games interest me the most.

Dear PnP Santa-

The pnpSS list went live just as I left for a week of college visits with my oldest child and extensive typing on a smartphone screen just isn't for me...but now I'm back and it's time to tell you a little about myself:

I love eurogames in general, tile/worker placement, area control, deck builders, dice placement. Carl Chudyk and Stefan Feld are my two favorite designers right now. In general, I'd say I'm open to anything.

I discovered the world of pnp a little over a year ago. This past year I crafted Haze Islands, Mottainai: Wutai Mountain, Circle the Wagons, Dice Hospital and am most of the way through creating Pellinoria. The rest of my creative time I've spent upgrading or modifying existing games I own. Completed projects:

- complete set of Puerto Rico tiles including ALL expansion material
- the official-variant event tiles for Orleans
- made correct versions of the misprinted Archipelago start tiles
- 48 Snowdonia expansion trains
- reboxed Glory To Rome so I could ditch the chicken Caesar salad container clamshell
- reboxed Dixit and the 3 expansions I have
- combined Oh My Goods! combined with Longsdale expansion into new box
- made better/snugger inserts for Robinson Crusoe, Pursuit of Happiness and Fields of Green
- tuckboxes galore for many of the card/tile based games I have
- foldable playmats for Mottainai and Innovation, allowing the games to be portable in a deck box (sans rulebook)

2. What games have you put off making for yourself and would love to play?

Looking through the PnP Games folder on my computer here are titles I've downloaded with intent to create but haven't gotten around to yet:

Dicey Peaks
Khan of Khans
Mower Mania
One Deck Dungeon and One Deck Dungeon: Forest of Shadows
Pirates & Plunder

One of these days I also aim to re-create Keywood

3. Are there any games or game themes that you prefer not to get?

Not really but wargames and party games are probably lowest on the list

4. Do you play solitaire games, small group games, large group games or all of the above?

Most of my gaming centers around either my family (spouse, 3 teenage children) or a weekly game group of 2-7 players (usually 3-5). In both instances we play a diversity of games, mostly some variant of Eurogame. Wargames are about the only category that holds no interest for either group. [Chudyk games seem to intimidate my gamer group but are among my wife's faves, Lucky Me!]

This past year, however, I have also found myself discovering and enjoying the solo modes of many of the games I own (Orleans, Snowdonia, Space Alert, Robinson Crusoe, Adventure of D, Peloponnes Card Game and Haze Islands probably top that list right now), so while I don't necessarily seek out solo/solitaire games, any game that has a range of 1-n players draws my interest a little more than it would have a year ago.

6. Anything else you enjoy or think would help Santa find the right gift for you.

I notice that Tetrarchia is the only pnp game I have on my official wishlist. I'd be interested in any of the other "..of D" games, I'm also curious to try Castle Itter, which is a little out of my usual gameplay theme range. Lastly, you're now armed with some info about me; maybe there's something YOU love that you think would be right up my alley, even if I haven't mentioned it so feel free to contribute your own inspiration to this gift. You are, after all, Santa Claus

Thank you in advance and Sorry again for the delay in writing this, when pnp time is at a premium (especially if - like me - you live in a wet/damp winter climate and drying time is a precious resource!).

Cheers!
