Games to try out for Halloween 2018

There are some games I think would work well for Halloween, but I haven't had a chance to play them yet, so I made a list

For the record, the list of games from this year I looked at are * Fury of Dracula (third/fourth edition) * Escape from the Aliens in Outer Space * Vampire Radar * Village of Horror * Tricks & Treats * Spookies * BOO * Cauldron Master * The Phantom Society
Obviously, I'm not even above including children's games on my list!
Of course, I've omitted a few here I've already played that I'm just not that into, like Arkham Horror, Betrayal at House on the Hill.
I've mostly skipped miniatures games, though I might be willing to make some exceptions. Also, for the most part I don't do zombies. Or, serial killers, even more so. I'm especially apt to seek out games with gothic subjects, followed by science fiction ones. Gameplay wise, I'm more likely to go for social deduction, micro games, card games, and mid-weight old-school "euros."
Obviously, this is already a long list, but I'm open to suggestions. But see above for games I'm less likely to be in to. Especially need more games using standard component systems, or print and play games!

I own this and it's an obvious choice, but I haven't had the change to play it yet.

Own this one too; also haven't had a chance to play it yet. Not necessarily and obviously horror themed game, but it looks weird and creepy, so.

We own this, but I have not yet played it. I think it would fit.

We have a copy so I have no excuse not to try it. It's not exactly a Halloween game though since you'll probably need to play it all year long to make any real progress.

Own this one too. This may not be an obvious choice, but it's got a pretty creepy vibe, I think it might work well.

I mean, it's not out yet, so I feel like I can get a pass for not having played this... But I like the look of the game and the subject, so, even though it's not maybe the kind of game I would normally go for, I think it would be good to check out.

How, oh how, did I not back this? This is in so many ways my kind of game. Hopefully will get to try it, though.
Update: I tracked down a copy, and I've played one game only so far, but it did make me think it is not a good fit for Halloween. While the visual aesthetic is perfect for Halloween, the game's subject and theme is not necessarily a good match, other than the mandatory sacrifice of thieves each round. But even that doesn't really fit, as thieves can be retrieved in some cases, and it's really very abstract so it doesn't feel like a horrific sacrifice. None of this is a complaint about the game at all (which is very interesting) but I was definitely stretching in hoping this would work for Halloween based just on its appearance. I feel like you could still try to sell this game as a Halloween game based on that and would not be entirely unsuccessful, but there are much more natural choices. I will update again if later plays make me rethink this on later plays.

I've played Arkham Horror, so not stretch, but maybe this is more fun, even if it's a little less Halloween-ish than the claustrophobic Arkham Horror.

Which reminds me of another game I should make sure to try.

Eh, and since we're on Lovecraft anyway, why not? I might actually like the gameplay on this, not just the theme.

And also this, since I really liked Tides of Time.

Almost done with the Mythos for this list, but this looks pretty good. Again, I feel like I can get a pass for not having played it though, you know?

Halloween, in space!
Update: I have gotten to play this once since Halloween, but we were having enough trouble figuring the game out that it distracted me slightly from thinking about how it would work for Halloween. (Definitely, the rule book is a caveat in recommending this game!) But the game was interesting, and definitely can be tense (our game was a little more sloggy). I'm just not sure how I feel about how atmospheric it is, but mostly because I think we were distracted by the mechanics and didn't notice, rather than I think it isn't. On the balance though, I think this would be a reasonable fit though it might get pushed down the list by more atmospheric games.

This one is a little bit of a stretch, but it seems appropriate, and, most importantly, it uses the Decktet deck. This list clearly needed a game using standard components!

You may have noticed the distinct lack of zombies on this list - but this one is just off-beat enough, I might give it a go.

On the complete opposite end of the spectrum, I would try this. Once. Look, it has tiles, ok?

ONUW leaves me a little meh, but I really liked One Night Revolution, so maybe this would be a better fit.

This looked good too... I think? Too many games with Salem in the title, people.
