This is a list for PNP games that can fit into a mint tin.

The inspiration for this list comes from the Mint Tin Design Contests held here on BGG.

This list is intended for free games. The components and rules should be included in the files section of the game listing on BGG. Items on this list should include an image of the game in a mint tin.

Certain Stars is a cooperative tile-placement and pattern-matching game for 2 players. Your goal is to point out enough imaginary constellations to impress your kids before bedtime... without your star guide, you wouldn't recognize the real ones if they were sitting right in front of you!

Construct a night sky of the moon and stars above your campsite, matching patterns in the evolving grid to your set of targets. Shooting stars and drifting clouds can help nudge your sky into just the right configuration. Success hinges upon not only carefully revealing the sky, but also ordering and overlaying the constellations effectively.

Competitive and solitaire rules offer additional variations of play. Part of the 2017 Mint Tin Design Contest.

An unsavoury crime has been committed in Mintsby and you, the amateur sleuth Sherbet Holmes, aided by your dear friend Dr Winegum, are charged with solving the case.
You must move around the randomly generated playing area, search locations and memorise the suspects you encounter.

The game is a take on a 'find the pairs' memory game. Find the pair of tiles of a suspect to eliminate them from your enquiries.
However, there are also other tiles which can help or hinder your investigation.
And you must solve the case against the clock.
Dice are used to move to and from locations so your choice of where to search may be restricted - fortunately Dr Winegum is there to help you.

Elemintary was voted 2nd best overall design (equal) in the 2016 Mint Tin Design contest.

Winner of the 2016 Mint Tin Design Contest, Mower Mania is a mix of puzzle/strategy (working out best routes through the gardens), resource management (your mower functions) and luck (dice for movement and randomness of garden tile layout).

When you land on a long grass tile, you turn it over to reveal it nicely mowed. Landing on vegetables or flowers, however, results in loss of points (money). Land on a pot, or go too fast into a tree or garden feature, and you'll also sustain damage to your mower.

The amount you earn will be based on how much of the lawn you've successfully mowed (a minimum amount required to progress to the next garden) and how much damage you've caused. You'll then need to pay for mower repairs and to replenish mower functions you used.

All fits in a tin

Tour Guide is a solitaire tile laying game (2 player rules in development). It's just 2 pages of tiles/cards and 1 page of rules. You'll also need some small cubes or similar tokens for tracking.

As a tour guide you must map out the city, making sure to create all the locations of your tour's itinerary.

There are 4 different scenarios and, depending on the type of tour, you'll need to visit museums and galleries, parks and piazzas, as well as local restaurants.
The more sights your party experiences, the more points you'll score.
And if there's a historic landmark, world famous masterpiece or culinary speciality to take in along the way, then all the better.

If you manage to create all the itinerary locations, then you ‘walk’ your tour route through the city for bonus points.

Tour Guide was joint winner of the 2017 Mint Tin Design Contest.
