My wife and I live on the west coast (US) and have a friend on the east coast. We've been getting together electronically every month to play board games. We generally have a camera (an iPad bungee-corded to a music stand) pointing at our board so our friend can see it; for many games he also echoes the game state with his own copy.Recommend
Some required attributes:
* No drawing of hidden cards from a shared deck, as there's no way to maintain the decks. If cards are public, one side can maintain the deck and the other can find the appropriate cards as they appear. If each side draws from their own decks, there's no problem.
* No tiny writing on the board. (Writing on the cards is probably okay if you each have a copy.)
