Allan, Alison & Iain turned up, a few others were away or busy so the three of us started the night off by playing EUPHORIA - a Stonemaier game with worker placement, using dice as workers. It has taken worker placement with dice, making numbers important in some cases, and the theme of building a better dystopia is a balancing act between keeping your workers knowledge low, while maintaining their morale!
Using various faction abilities, resources & commodities the point of the game is to place 10 "authority" (wooden stars)markers. Iain placed all 10 of his, just pipping Alison who was preparing to end the game also.
For our second game of the night, Allan looked at Strozzi & chose it. As merchants bringing wares to renaissance Italy to the ports of Rome, Venice & Naples we jostled to improve our monetary returns, Alison taking first place, Allan 2nd & Iain dragged in 3rd place
