Ultimate FANTASY RPG Battle!

I loved Tony Ackroyd's "Ultimate RPG Bttle" geeklist (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/23477).Recommend
I was really surprised to see Arkham Horror shoot straight to the top and stay there. But then I realized the reason: it's one of only two horror-themed RPG board games, and the only one in the very popular Lovecraft mythos, while all the D&D fans are splitting their votes across numerous games.
Now, as it happens, I've been pondering whether to buy a fantasy RPG board game, like Runebound. So I'd really like to know which fantasy RPG is considered the best. So I'm holding a similar contest for just fantasy RPG board games.
I'm including every game from Tony's list except ones that aren't fantasy, or ones that I think are not really RPGs (like Knizia's LOTR game).
As with Tony's list, give a thumbs-up to the entry of your choice.
Notice: I'm trying to hold a head-to-head competition to determine the most-favored game, so please thumb only one entry.
If you want to give a to a game in lieu of giving a , you can do so by posting a comment, but please don't give both a and a .
UPDATE 8/7/07 4:40pm EST - Items sorted in order of votes. Surprised to see Magic Realm take the early lead, when I've heard so many complaints about it AND it's out of print AND it doesn't have the impressive bits its competitors have. But then, finding out more was part of the reason I made this list!
UPDATE 8/8/07 9:52am EST - Runebound barely edges into the lead over Magic Realm, with Descent positioned to make a play at any time. And what is this game "Melee" I've never heard of? I'll have to give that a look. Thanks to everyone for the comments and discussion!
Oh, and if you thumb something on the list, could you please also thumb the list so we get some more voters? Right now we've got 48 thumbs for items on the list and only 8 thumbs for the list (one if which, I shamelessly report, is mine!).
UPDATE 8/8/07 12:17pm EST - The horse race continues: Descent surpasses Magic Realm.
UPDATE 8/8/07 1:36pm EST - Descent takes the lead, displacing Runebound!
UPDATE 8/9/07 12:20pm EST - Return of the Heroes gains a second vote and surpasses Talisman, which remains mired at one vote (WoW moves up to two as well). Descent extends its lead with 10 votes to Runebound's 8, with Magic Realm turning in a respectable 6.
