A couple years back I came across a wonderful little (mostly unknown) gem called Cubeo. I built a few different sets and re-edited the english translation of the rules. I called my set Two 6D6, Because those are the components of the game, two sets of 6 six-sided dice.
Here is the set that has been living in my shoulder bag for the last year or so.

It's an extremely compact and portable game. The whole thing, box and all, weighs only 2.9 oz.

A few days ago, I came across another interesting 2 player abstract called Gyges. As I read through the description I realized, "I could play this with my Two 6D6 set!" So I drew out a Gyges board on the back of the rules sheet that I keep in my set.

These are both 2 player, zero luck, perfect information, abstract strategy games. But it got me thinking, How many games do I actually have in this little box?

I could play Liar's Dice, a bluffing game.
I could also play any number of shear luck dice chuckers; Ship, Captain, and Crew, Farkel, and Shut the Box to name a few.

So I thought I should start a geeklist to help me find the best games playable with the game system that I've been carrying around thinking it was just one game.

So... Here are the parameters;

12 5/8" standard 6 sided dice (in two colors, 6 Red & 6 Blue)

One sheet of paper 4 1/4" x 5 5/8" EDIT: The boards are now set. The Gyges board is a 6 x 8 grid of approximately 5/8" squares. The "other" board is a 5x5 (with a 28 point scoring track around the edge for Baby Boom).

The box itself, 2 7/8" x 2 3/8" x 3/4". The interior space for holding the dice is 2" x 2 1/2" X 5/8".
EDIT: Since I now have a few games that play on a 3x3 board, I've add that to the box itself.

Now the question is, How many games can I play with this set?

This is the game that started it all. A wonderful 2 player strategy game based on Hive.

Edit: I've written a review for Cubeo Here

This one will also work, although it will take a bit of tweaking (but that is also part of why I'm putting up this list).

9 of the 12 dice will become the board. 1 through 6 represented by their values. 7,8,9 represented by a die of value 1,2,3 respectively turned 45 deg. to indicate a +6 value. (It's possible 2,3,4 may work better here since people are often more comfortable adding 5).
Two of the remaining dice are the rollers
And the last die may by used as a player marker. To play this game with 2 players, I often use the variant of the first player shutting the box (eliminating dice) and the other player opening the box (replacing dice), The first player to accomplish their task wins the game.

6 pieces of each color is what Two 6D6 has, and the 5x5 board works.

The standard setup:

And Carlos Luna's symmetrical setup:

Using the 6x6 board again.
EDIT: I'm not sure about this one, the rules call for (9) 8 dice per side.
2nd EDIT: After reading the rules more carefully, it looks like it should work with 6 dice each on a 5x5 board, I'll try to get some play tests in.
3rd EDIT: I had some time to play around with this last night and it seemed to confirm what Martinus posted below, I don't think this game can be downsized to fit into my system.

Another game for a 5x5 board. I’d use 5 pips for the kings and only one for the infantry.

I'm going to say this game fits because anything could be used for the extra piece (a coin, a stone, a little wad of paper, whatever).

Edit: The rules I've added are actually for CoNeutron (a rules tweak to fix the 1st player advantage). It doesn't have it's own game page on BGG.

This will work with my Two 6D6 set if played on a 3x3 board. which is recommended by Tom Vasel, since it yields a quicker game less prone to "analysis paralysis".

This will work on a slightly modified 6x8 board (plays on a 4x8 with 6 spaces removed).
4 = square top "pushers"
1 = round tops
Extra die 6(or other object) = anchor.
