2018 Thrift Guild Container of Generosity
It's 2018! Time for another COntainer of Generosity!
We fortunate thrifters often find multiple copies of games that other thrifters just can't seem to find at all, so as a part of my continuing Thrift Wealth Redistribution Plan to assist in future game prosperity, it's time to kick-off another Container. Here's another chance to assist your fellow Citizens.
This is limited to THRIFT GUILD members (they are the Citizenry of the Thrift State); you should be a member of the Guild AND have posted a thrifty find on one of the weekly lists within the last year.
The rules are pretty simple, here's how it will work:
1) Folks will register on this list. Registration will close sometime on the around 7 February 2018. Once it closes to new entries, the list will turn into a reporting list (i.e. tell us what you got) via the comments under your entry. (In some ways, it operates similar to the Thrifty Secret Santa). Once you register, send me a geekmail with the subject: ADDRESS for 2018 Generosity Container.
2) When you receive the box, mark yourself off the list and simply take out 0 to all the games out of the box. Replace them with as many as you wish, but send the box out with at least 5 complete games in the box with an average (not Geek) rating of 5.7 or above when you send it along. Any other games may be incomplete, rated lower, or simply parts if you want to pass them along (for example, we've had Heroscape terrain and various interesting miniatures in the past).
ANY games with a 0 for a rating will be treated as 5.7. Again, there can be more in the box and these can be incomplete. It would be a courtesy if you posted a note in the game of what is present/missing if incomplete.
3) REPORT EVERYTHING YOU TAKE OUT REGARDLESS IF YOU INTEND TO KEEP IT OR NOT. (Don't report anything you don't take out or add.) You must post to the list; if you took nothing out of the box, post that you took nothing and passed it along. At no time do you reveal any games that remain in the box, only what you removed. (Treat the box like Vegas...)
You are allowed to call foul if there are less than 5 unique game titles that are less than a 5.7 rating. This will serve as public humiliation, and possible re-education camp enrollment, to the last person to have the box... (I'm a benevolent leader, but Redistribution requires honor!) These fouls may also impact any contest I may decide to run.
4) Select a person to send to... You can select folks that are less costly for you to ship to (we've had people drive it to the next person as they were in their hometown) or by games you think they will enjoy based on what is in the box. It's nice if under your entry when it is sent, you add a tracking number for the box as well. (We have had some creative folks that sometimes actually map these and it's quite fun watching the box meander across the country.)
5) Ensure the list stays with the box as it goes around. I'll repeat: ensure this list stays with the box as it goes around. This is the list of the people with their addresses!
NOTE: you are free to change the box size to accommodate the size of the games you are shipping. The expectation is people will ship this CONTAINER parcel post or some other cheap shipping method. The following is the lower bound on the box size: 1.75 cubic feet; there is not an upper bound other than what you personally want to pay. For people wondering, an 18 inch by 13 inch by 14 inch box is about 1.75 cu ft or 24 inch by 14 inch by 9 inch box. (I also hope no one gets a ruler out, the point is to just reinforce why this generosity box is called the Container). Don't feel compelled to stay with a super large box if this is too expensive for you to ship - I usually start it very large, but I know personally I have no expectation of such a size when it gets back to me.
We've tried to include Canada before by adding a few dollar donations to the box, this worked great until one time the box ended with someone not continuing it. If folks from Canada ALSO have a US postal address and all Canadians that register don't mind sending it back to the US, then feel free to add yourselves to the list.
You may, but don't have to, place games within games. This is more prevalent in the Logistics Box.
Proper participation is on your honor, but I believe we Citizens can do this without State oversight. (We've had very few problems... Usually it's the typical life gets in the way type of delays.)
I'll be starting us off and I'll be the end of the chain (i.e. I'll be on this list with the expectation I am last). When it gets back to me, the chain is complete.
When you register, please provide the following details:
+ your user name
+ your location: city, state, and zipcode (Canadians need to have a US address) ALSO, email me your full address, so I can add it to the list that will go in the box.
+ dates you know you will not be around for more than 4-5 days, that way people can avoid sending it to you as the next person in the chain when you aren't around to receive it; go as far in advance as you can and add comments if dates come up while the box is in transit
+ 3-5 games that you are currently enjoying (and why you like them if you want),
+ 3-5 you have seen on the thrift lists you want - the first game you are interested in should be the Geeklist entry item to catch people's attention,
+ 3-5 things you like in games (mechanics, themes, etc.) and if there is anything you don't like, feel free to add that as well
+ OPTIONAL: your other hobbies/interests (as sometimes people use this as more info)
These can be used to help guide people to select what they add into the box.
For this list, YOU MUST be an active Thrift Guild member to participate. It isn't that hard to join and participate in the best community within BGG.
All games exchanged through the Generosity Lists are expected to be Thrift finds. (They are not required to be though.) This means they may have tape or writing on the boxes, box damage (dishing, split corners), and possibly only copies of the rules. All game pieces (or at least nice SUITABLE replacements) will be present. At least 5 games will be a higher rating than 5.7 and be complete.
By joining this list, you 1) understand and agree to these rules and 2) promise you will do your best to ship any item to the next person you select within 3 standard work days to the best of your ability. All shipments are to be done in the cheapest method possible allowing for distance they may travel.
Thanks everyone and I'll be interested to see how many sign-up. I'll probably run a contest as well.
pmboos (aka First Citizen)
When not in Rosebud, I am located in a top secret location in the vicinity of Falls Church, VA 22044.
I will be on vacation for Spring Break with the family the last week of March (23 March - 1 April) and on a Scouting canoe trip 8-14 July.
We've been concentrating on trying some new ones recently:
as well as a few faves
As for what I have seen on the Thrift Lists...
I'm actually more in this to give. I guess if I were to pick some items I'd like to see -
Aladdin's Dragons - I like Breese's work, though I don't have much of it - this has been on my radar for some time
Auf Achse - as a huge Kramer fan, this is def a game I'd like to own...
Ticket to Ride (Standard Version) - I'll use this in helping product owners/management teams learn how to coordinate their activities to deliver value
Space Beans - a lower complexity Bohnanza - played this a few years back at
Anything from the WWI in Wings of War - particularly minis and expansions I don't have.
Celtica - another Kramer game I'd love to own...
Things I like in games...
Mechanics: Area Control/Influence, Action Points, Worker Placement, Dice Rolling that have nice decisions, fulfilling contracts, Tile Placement, Card Drafting
Themes: Science-Fiction, Medieval, Mad Scientists
One theme we disdain in our house: Zombies
Other hobbies I have - making electronic music with my synthesizers, collecting wine, traveling - particularly Europe, working with Scouts (I just stepped down as the Scoutmaster of my troop, but still am an ASM), the Tiki/pop-Polynesian culture boom that occurred in the 50s, midcentury architecture and design, travel (particularly in Europe) and my wife and I are foodies.
Does your religion have lightsabers? Nope? Didn't think so.
"A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals." Agent K. Oh my what he would think of people had he known about what the internet would become.....
+ your user name
+ your location: city, state, and zipcode
Glenshaw, PA 15116
+ dates you know you will not be around for more than 4-5 days
I will not be around Feb 3rd-11th and the week of Origins(June 11th- 17th). But this doesn't matter as it is a business address you will be shipping to so it will be fine sitting there a couple days in my office.
+ 4-5 games that you are currently enjoying (and a why you like them)
Twilight Imperium: Fourth Edition - Epic. Grandiose. Fantastic.
Android: Netrunner - I love how this has the two sides that play completely differently. It's brilliant!
Sid Meier's Civilization: The Board Game - There is nothing about this game I don't love - different paths to victory, ways to stall people, different starting positions, long term planning ... it's amazing!
Anachrony - Simply elegant and amazing design. Same with Trickerion: Legends of Illusion(which I picked up second hand and that counts as thrifting right?)
Battle Dome - I love these kind of games. Silly, HUGE and fun.
I will try to add more as time goes and I think of more...
+ 4-5 you have seen on the thrift lists you want
Heroscape Master Set: Battle for the UnderdarkHAHAHAHA! I know. But.. it's the last piece of heroscape I need to complete my collection
Pirates of the Spanish Main - Love this game. Love trading this game. I am part of an active trading community (miniaturetrading.com so anything I don't need I can convert into things I do!! )
Frontier-6 - have a 3/4 complete copy(with a shit box) and this game looks neat. I want to find a complete copy or be able to complete mine!
Anything fun, silly and involving dexterity. (I love Coconuts, Jumpin' Monkeys and similar games).
Anything I don't have. Seriously. I love collecting games(2799 (w/expansions) and counting!) almost as much as I do playing them!
+ 4-5 things you like in games (mechanics, themes, etc.)
THEME: I love THEMATIC games. Android is probably the best of this kind of thing. Love it or hate it the theme may stain your table it is that rich!
VARIATION: I love games with variable starting powers and/or starting positions. It's fun to be forced to play different ways depending on who your are(Chaos in the Old World,Cosmic Encounter, A Game of Thrones: The Board Game (Second Edition), Sid Meier's Civilization: The Board Game).
COMPETITION: I hate co-op games. There are very few true co-ops I like (Arkham Horror and Elder Sign are on that short list). I love semi-coop (Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game- everyone can lose but only one person wins), 1 vs many (Descent: Journeys in the Dark, Star Wars: Imperial Assault and anything I can possibly use a variation of the phrase "Blood for the blood god!!"(this is a reference to Khorne from Warhammer.
Cute & Silly: I love pandas. My wife loves tigers. If they appear in a game we usually like it by default. So much better than kittens and puppies!!
Offensive or Obscene: Nothing offends me but I am still looking! Plus most of my friends are just as twisted as me! Last year I got a game GETSOME and it's expansion... that I still need to add to the database. lol. How many people do you know that proudly display their copies of Busen Memo?
DEXTERITY: AS mentioned above things like Coconuts
or Jumpin' Monkeys.
Despite the above mentioned there are also plenty of Euro games I enjoy as well. They are usually not as exciting or give as many stories to tell so I tend to forget them.. but I do enjoy things like Agricola. And I enjoy two player games and abstracts.
I guess it might have been better to list what I don't like as I am a pretty opened minded gamer!
I have one request... if possible I don't want to be first!! haha.
WOOT!! I love these boxes of unknown fun!
Board Game: Dune

No unavailable dates
Currently enjoying Sci-Fi, Deck Builders, Strategy/Wargames
DC Deck Builder – AGES – Star Realms - DC Deck Builder
Advanced Civilization, SCythe
I collect Avalon Hill and 3M games and have many that I am still looking for in my Wishlist. Placed them as a 4 or 5 in my wishlist so they would not be listed with my regular 1-3 wishlist. I also am an avid Print-n-Play gamer so I can always use parts (meeples, boards, money chips, dice, cubes).
I do not like Zombie or Cthulhu themed games and mostly like American style games over pure Euros. I do enjoy a good Euro style but still prefer one with a great theme like Lords of Waterdeep.
I also like games that can be played solitaire or Co-op.
+ your user name - Chance Rushing / Clearush
+ your location:
+ dates you know you will not be around - Nothing solid yet, but probably good till Christmas for being away from home for long stretches. Plus I have shipping alerts on USPS and can always do a hold if I'm unexpectedly away.
+ 3-5 games that you are currently enjoying (and why you like them if you want)
Near and Far campaign with the wife
Century: Spice Road - easy to get on the table
The Castles of Burgundy - wife's favorite
Oh My Goods! - easy to get on the table
Rocky Road à la Mode - easy to get on the table
+ 3-5 you have seen on the thrift lists you want -
Actually pretty hard to say, I thrift for the possibility of finding a gem game that I don't know about.
that being said -
Go would be a fun find
Daytona 500 (like the Kramer card driven racing system)
Judge Dredd always like the old 80's art
Lost Treasure old 80's electronic games are fun
The Powerpuff Girls: Mojo Jojo Attacks Townsville Game some of the powerpuff games are fun with the kids.
+ 3-5 things you like in games (mechanics, themes, etc.) and if there is anything you don't like, feel free to add that as well
My kids like combat stuff, taking out the other player with some randomness so they have the possibility of winning.
The wife doesn't like simultaneous turn taking (like Race for the Galaxy or Jump Drive) but is ok with Drafting, also hates games that race to be finished when she is enjoying the mechanics of the game.
I'm wide open to discovering new stuff that I didn't know I liked
+ OPTIONAL: your other hobbies/interests (as sometimes people use this as more info)
I do like good coffee (Starbucks/PEETs is NOT good coffee)
We were keeping bees with my inlaws in Houston till we moved to Amarillo, we are starting up with Bees again in the spring with a friend that wants to try it out.
I like Vinyl records but my stereo isn't set up right now.
Enjoy watching Anime more than broadcast TV
Just started smoking meats using a pellet grill smoker
And I haven't ridden my motorcycle in two years.
Prospect, OH 43342
There are no dates that would be a problem.
Recent Loved Plays:
Betrayal at House On The Hill
Always wanted to find 7 Wonders in the wild, but it never happens. Other things I'm looking to play with the kids include Formula D (for the racing fan) and Memoir 44 or Blood Rage (for the wargamer). King of Tokyo for the family and Alhambra for me round out the stuff I'd likely buy next on the bay if I don't find them soon. We play just about everything so anything else I'd list here is just daydreaming from watching everyone else's finds. I tend to keep my wish list right around 100 games, but lately it seems like I'm adding 2 for every one I get.
I prefer space themes but that's never a deal breaker. Mechanics-wise we seem to like everything, but I'm binging on euros and deck-builders lately. We also have many Miniatures Games and CCGs we enjoy, heavy on Warhammer 40k and MTG, respectively.

OOT: March 15-19, May 25-28, June 15-17
Games I'm enjoying at the moment: Pandemic Legacy Season 2, Carcassonne(It's safe to say I'm collecting it and we love tile laying games), Ticket to Ride: Europe, Potion Explosion
Items seen on the thrift lists:: various Carcassonnes(like over hill and dale, gold rush) and extra copies of the base game are good too so I can make more expansions via Print and Play.
Ticket to Ride (we have Europe, but I wish we would have bought the USA version now that we are playing with our sons (ages 5 and 7)).
Heroscape terrain is fun(and you can never have too much, right?), I've seen some miniature games on the list too. Power Grid, and various kid games.
How much do I like:
We love tile laying, games with a narrative/story telling aspect, fantasy and sci fi. My family loves Disney, Blizzard video games, and Legos. I love to read fiction-mostly fantasy, suspense, and romance. My husband DMs a Dnd campaign, so we love miniatures and terrain pieces.
NOTE because of my back injury, please don't send more than 20lbs of games to me. You could either cull the box for me or send part of the box to me and part to another person (and then I will send stuff to that person so the box can be rejoined). It doesn't matter how it's done as I am just doing this for fun and I always have a large selection of possible games to send to the next person, being overly addicted to thrifting and the hot deals forum
Games I have been enjoying lately
Deception: Murder in Hong Kong
Oh My Goods!
Things I like in games:
mid - heavy weight euros (without auctions)
games involving 3d thinking
card games, esp trick taking
science themed games
solo games that don't involve to much "bookeeping"
Games for 3 or more players
I hate auctions, bluffing, and traitor mechanics.
Some thrift store games I am interested in
My group mostly plays fillers and the 2 hour midweight euros so those would have the highest chance of being played. They are very much a mechanics over theme group. I personally enjoy odd or strange themes. I don't really like horror or crude themes but everything else is fine.
Of my wishlist items, I think these are the mostly likely thrift games
promos and expansions for Epic Card Game
Quietville there are a few versions with different names, themes, "bull in china shop" by playroom entertainment probably most common.
Balloon Cup the original version
The Rose King looking for older version with wood tokens
Las Vegas -esp. like the old alea version but any is fine
Smarty Party! this doesn't have to be complete, I mostly need the card reader blue thingy, every thing else can be pnp'ed and I have several deck of expansion cards, just not the base game.
Ticket to Ride: Europe
Cathedral - only want smaller travel version.
The Amazing Dr. Nim My dad gave it to me a little kid, would love to find a copy as it reminds me of him.
The Game of Life: Card Game (not The Game of Life: Adventures Card Game)
The Legend of Robin Hood
The Powerpuff Girls: Flying Action Game
Carcassonne: Expansion 1 – Inns & Cathedrals Old art version, just need the tiles and the overweight red, yellow, blue, green, meeple, (MC Hammer one)
Mahé, kid's game. I am in love with the version with turtles that came out recently
The Propaganda Game
Button Men (i have listed as owned the ones I have)
Star Wars Miniatures, esp characters from the original movie.
dice masters from the dc universe, cards and/or dice
other thrifty hobbies I have
I like wooden jigsaw puzzles (the kind for adults, not kids). Most common kinds come in metallic gold (victory), matte dark green box (wentworth), navy (liberty), bright blue with a green clown (stave but brand name not usually present, only the clown shape). Often the harder puzzles don't include a picture of the puzzle on the box, making them easy to miss.
A copy of the english rules for Neue Spiele im alten Rom (or even the german rules in an electronic format that could be put though an online translator) I traded for this grail game of mine but have no rules so I can't play any of the 14 games. I think this is a very hard thing to find
a red plane, a red propellor, 4 green circle markers for Dogfight
carcassone and catan promos that i do not have
Minis from The Wizard of Oz: The Game
2 small wooden ducks from Duck Pond
all the goods tokens from Carcassonne: Expansion 2 – Traders & Builders
dragon from Carcassonne: Expansion 3 – The Princess & The Dragon
I collect wooden animals from ravensburger and haba games to expand my favorite stacking game Animal Upon Animal. Ideally I like four of the same animal but smaller numbers are cool too.
I like pewter playing pieces from themed edition of monopoly and scene it.
I am looking for clue weapons, esp. guns, the poison bottle, and knifes/daggers. It's for an art project so I can use multiple copies. (However I do have plenty of the orignal monopoly tokens so only want tokens from themed editions )
I do like odd dice, ones with unusual shapes and/or unusual symbols on them.
Note on my rating scale.
I use wishlist category 5 (do not buy) for things I have researched and do not want.
Games I haven't researched usually are rated 4, many of the thrift store type games I want are there.
I try to mark print and play games with PnP in comments.
I mark all previously owned games (about 800 games), If a previously owned game is not on my current wishlist, I don't want it.
St. Charles Ill (far west Chi suburb)
Isle of Skye
Sails of Glory
Napoleonic Era simulations.
Enjoy finding older game that people have forgotten
(hence...Stadium Checkers...actually have gotten groups to play it locally I have 3 copies)
Other activities... movies, plays, reading, grandchildren, Chess (retired)
Mechanics... Love most (EXCEPT Card Drafting....no Dominion or games requiring drafting (Terra Forming Mars etc.)
Enjoy Bidding games but really suck at most of them (Ra)
One of the few who does not like Carcasonne either.
I'll be out of town for a long weekend from 2/16/18-2/20/18, but that likely won't matter significantly. Otherwise I expect to be here.
Games we are currently enjoying -
A bunch of KOSMOS games because I'm exploring simple two-player games. Floating Market because it reminded me of Finca, Santiago de Cuba, and Cinque Terre. 7 Wonders because it is one of our go to games. Five Tribes, Istanbul, and Bora Bora because worker placement - in all of its various colors and flavors. Karuba(which I will be picking up later this spring) and Isle of Skye: From Chieftain to King both are very clever tile placing games. (I'm also excited about Kingdomino and Pyramid Poker.
Games I've seen on the Thrift Lists that I'd enjoy... Or I at least imagined that they were there...
Amerigo, Quoridor, Roll Through the Ages: The Bronze Age, Broom Service, Cosmic Encounter, Ricochet Robots, Livingstone, Dixit, Sheriff of Nottingham, RoboRally I traded away my copy a couple of years ago, but I have seen a few other contenders with similar mechanics.
Things I like in games:
Worker placement, see above
Variable player powers like Cosmic Encounter and Twilight Imperium: Fourth Edition
Stuff that does stuff (combos and stacking effects) like Elysium and Deus
Games that play well with 2 players, but scale up for larger groups as well like 7 Wonders or Telestrations
Euros, Dice, Deck builders
promos, expansions, and extra goodies
Things I will pass on (there isn't much that I don't like in games, except perhaps excessively off-color content.)
HABA and Gamewright, on account of my Thrifty Secret Santa knocking it out of the park this year...
I collect dice, I store them in a gumball machine, but I am hoping to graduate to water bottle (Culligan.) I like deck-building, tile laying, and worker placement. I like promos, especially ones for King of Tokyo, Boss Monster: The Dungeon Building Card Game, and Ascension: Deckbuilding Game. I'm a completionist and I keep my collection current; including promos, expansions, and missing pieces that want and/or have. And I have a stack of games that has been accumulating on my pool table to be included in this round of generosity!.
*Poplar Grove, IL 61065
*Gone: April 21-29
*Thrifts I am currently playing: Catan; Splendor; Forbidden Island (really like cooperative aspect); Snorta; Hey, That's My Fish; Sequence; Othello. I like most games. It's been a lot of fun expanding my game horizons on this site.
*Thrifts I seek:
Catan: 5-6 Player Expansion. We often are 5 or 6 players and own few 5-6 player games.
Sheriff of Nottingham
Lost Cities: Two-player options get the most play thanks to my hubby.
(My wishlist is an extension of my desires...of an out-of-control five-year-old at Christmas. I enjoy learning new games I might like better than the previous one!)
*FYI: Not too fond of games like Cards of Humanity (I'm in the minority); Snorta (time pressure); Games that take more than 90 minutes likely won't get played; dexterity games likely won't get played either.
*New to all these exchanges. Tried Secret Santa and enjoyed the experience, so here I am. I also hope not to be first, as I need to see how this works.
P.S. Tried to put image 268840 up, for the Catan extension. Didn't want to take it
Board Game: Ticket to Ride
[Average Rating:7.46 Overall Rank:125]
[Average Rating:7.46 Unranked]
First time participating in this and looking forward to the surprise!
Marshfield, WI 54449
There aren't any dates that I will be gone for more than 1-2 days.
We've been playing my friend's first printing of Gloomhaven, Mage Knight, Splendor, Pandemic Legacy Season 1, Carcassonne (with expansions), Five Tribes, Evolution, Ticket to Ride, and some other random two player games for my wife and I.
I've seen lots of people finding what I would consider "Grail finds" for me, and some of those include:
Ticket to Ride (any expansions, map collections, USA version, etc. We already have Europe and Rails/Sails)
Smash Up and Other Deckbuilding games
Things I like in games:
Themes - pretty much anything except for zombies and war games
Games that can function with 2 players and several players
Games with great artwork and fun components
We tend to favor worker placement, tile laying, resource management, cooperative, and epic adventure games in our house.
Really, I'm happy to try any new games out, and I've kickstarted a few in the past few years because of my curiosity.
I love coffee (whole bean for my french press)
I enjoy trying different craft beers from anywhere (I pretty much leave my wife in charge of picking stuff out by the label and then try it)
I'm a music teacher and my main instrument is percussion/drums
I've built a MtG Power Cube and am always looking for the latest and greatest things to add to it.
edit: I also collect drumsticks from Hard Rock Cafes around the world
Board Game: Bruges
[Average Rating:7.47 Overall Rank:197]
Yay! I love participating in these! These and TSS really are the highlight of the Thrifting Guild, for me.
+ Wauwatosa, WI, 53226
5-26 to 6-12 I will be on vacation. Someone will be house-sitting, but the container may get stuck for a week or so during that time.
+ Games I have been playing:
Tzolk'in - Hurts my brain, but it a good way
Gloomhaven - It's as good as everyone says
Orléans - One of my all time favorites
Sagrada - Beautiful, enjoyable puzzle
Race for the Galaxy - I finally have a group that likes to play it. Great, deep card game
+ Thrifted games I over:
Not a single game, but 3M finds. I have a small collection of vintage 3M and AH games, and I always love finding more.
+ 3-5 things you like in games:
I love all kinds of games. I don't play collectible card/dice/anything and miniature games for financial and sanity reasons, I don't have time for war games, though I enjoy them, I don't play children's games because I'm not around children much. I prefer medium to heavy eurogames, but love trashy dice-fests, too.
+ Just a note, really, to say that I love finding stuff I haven't seen before in these containers. I'm more in this for finding good homes for my thrift finds. Most of the stuff I bring to game night isn't found on the thrift lists, but stuff I bring when visiting my family often does, so take the above info with a grain of salt.
- Shelia102881 is my username
- Cheektowaga (Buffalo) NY 14227
- I am giving my parents address - they are nearly always home so no dates that no one will be home for them, but I take mini trips throughout the year so there is a possibility of me being away when it arrives, but it would only be for a day or two and my parents would let me know right away that it had arrived!!
- I am currently enjoying the heck out of gloomhaven - we are playing weekly and have only played 2 sessions so far but the nights we play fly by and I find myself not being able to wait until the next game day!! I also play a lot of Timestories - we have played most of the published scenarios and a ton of fan scenarios...we cant get enough!!
I am playing pandemic legacy 2 and LOVE it so far. Other than that I play a lot of new games since by friends and game group have tons of games between us.. usually something new each week!
THRIFT GAMES I WOULD LIKE
- I like small card games - my geeklist entry of Where's bobs hat looks very cool and I would love to own it. Also any other card games such as
- Bottle Imp
- I'm bluffing
- Fist of dragonstones
- SOS -titanic
- Potato man
- Any of the card games in the ONIRIM universe (Sylvion, Castellion, urbion ect.)
- Any games in the GIPF series besides Gift and Yinsh
- any trading or negotiation game I do not have .. (life bohnanza, Chinatown, Im the boss)
- any of the herorealms base set or packs
NON CARD GAMES
- Pyramid Poker
- Mint works
- Blue moon city
- any mice and mystics extras
- mare balticum
- fresh fish
- fish cook
- The duke
My "want in trade" list has just under 200 items on it.. it would give more info on what types of games I am looking for however I play with gamers and non games and I am pretty much up for anything except area control - party - or war games... My favorites are worker placement, deckbuilders, coops, any game with minis and scenarios. I am easy to please!
- I work for an airline so I travel a lot.. that is one hobby. I also paint minis for any game that comes with miniatures.
