Long wanted to try this game, and was lucky to find out that a local guy getting rid of his copy (complete with the Oath and Anvil expansion). Runebound 2nd Edition was a personal favorite in the adventure genre; hoping this game lives up to that standard.
A friend gave this to me, and it's on my shortlist of "must try" solo games.
At the same time, Lacerda games intimidate me a little bit due to the complexity. Not entirely sure when I'll find time to go through the rules and put this on a table - but will definitely give it a shot this year.
Initial impressions have been mixed. The rulebook was a letdown, and I think that carried into my early solo sessions. Even though I think the game would be quite a bit more interesting with a group, keen to try playing solo again before that happens to be sure I can teach effectively.
This is possibly on the trade pile, just due to game length and space required. I also ended up with a copy of Pandemic: Iberia which has a vaguely similar, but much cleaner, feel in how the game plays.
However, I'd still like to play (solo or otherwise) a couple times before deciding what to do with it.
