Determined by three criteria:
- Ratio (how many female characters are there, compared to male characters, in each category, e.g. playable characters, enemies, non-playable story characters, etc.)
- Abilities (are the female characters' abilities non-stereotyped, and how powerful/useful are they compared to the male characters' abilities).
- Sexualisation (are any of the female characters' roles, demeanor, physical appearance or clothing designed to be sexually appealing. This is NOT the same as them simply being physically attractive, though obviously if all the female characters in a game are attractive while all the males are unattractive this would suggest a gender bias).

Important to note:
- This list and the analysis of a game's female representation is NOT an indicator of how good a game is, or of my own personal enjoyment of it.
- I have not ranked the games - they are listed in alphabetical order

Ratio: Exactly half of the characters appear to be female (though many non-humans and one human look somewhat ambiguously gendered). The box art features a woman.

Abilities: While I haven’t played it, from what I gather the characters within each role all have the same abilities, and as each role has a equal male to female split (though as I said above, many seem androgynous).

Sexualisation: All characters have appropriate and non-revealing clothing. The female characters also include an older woman with greying hair and wrinkles (though the rest are young, while there are multiple older male characters), and a larger-bodied woman. Among the human characters, various races are depicted.

Ratio: All 4 playable characters are female. The five powerful "power of three" cards are all women. Fairly even gender split in remaining cards, as well as in challenges involving NPCs.

Abilities: Non-stereotyped. Challenges involving NPCs do not differ greatly in difficulty based on NPC gender.

Sexualisation: No characters appear to be designed to be sexually attractive.

This is a geeklist I made about two years ago with basically the same premise as this list.
Originally it was actively curated and maintained by me, but I gave up on that a while ago, as fielding the negativity and ignorance of some commenters got too tiring -- I mean, I was doing that in my limited spare time. Thus the list is now somewhat out of date, and I do not know how good the later additions are that were made after I stopped curating. Maybe some day I will update the list.

But there are some really good discussions on there as well, as well as cool games, so take a look!
