Experimental Auction - Ends August 6th - [closed]
- Benjamin BensonUnited States
Update: Tuesday 8/7 9:37amRecommend
All titles should now have been responded to. I will start verifying components and adding BGG marketplace listings for those items I was willing to part with in order to achieve my funding goal.
Thanks to all who participated.
UPDATE: Tuesday 8/7 12:12am
There are TWELVE games I have not made a decision on, whether I will part with them or not. All other games have been listed as who they are being sold to or that they did not sell. I will try to have a final decision on these last games by the end of Tuesday or Wednesday.
Games I am thinking about:
Fresco: Big Box
Auction closed - unless the item falls into the 2 hour window mentioned below.
I will go through and log all the closing times, then review to post the sales.
I want to verify components of sales and condition before sending out payment requests, that could take a bit of time due to the large quantity of games.
I will try to post all winnings today though, so you know.
Thanks for participating.
End Time - August 6, 2018 - 10am (PST)
Update 8/5: Unless the game is noted with a condition issue, like ding and dent, assume they are very good condition. If, when I pull them out of the storage box, and it is not 'very good', I will notify you so you can either request pictures or say you are no longer interested.
Bid increases in $1 increments
NOTE: Any item that receives a bid from 8am (PST), onward, on August 6th will have the time to place a final bid extended by two hours. So, if a bid is placed at 9:45 am, for that particular item then ending time is now 11:45 am, not 10am. And if that same item receives another bid at 11:30 am, it will be extended again, for two hours, endlessly until two hours have passed without a bid.
Ships from Dublin, CA - near San Francisco, CA. - Local Pickup can be arranged, see rules below.
Buyer pays shipping. If it fits in a standard medium flat rate box, I imagine the cost is between $13-$14. I can combine shipping but it may cost more, if I do not have a box, I will have to buy one and charge you the cost of the box. I used most my boxes already. I would probably use a moving box from home depot if you buy a lot of games (https://www.homedepot.com/b/Storage-Organization-Moving-Supp...).
PAYMENT - I have PayPal, Venmo, and Google Pay
FINAL BIDS - This is an experiment, I am putting about 95% of my collection up in this auction. There is NO guarantee sale of ANY item. When the auction ends, I will look at the highest bid offered and decide if I am willing to part with the game for that amount.
You say: But I don't want to bid on multiple items if I may not win some of them, as I am looking to combine shipping. I say: well... don't bid then.
LOCAL PICKUP: If you are doing local pickup, you have 48 hours to send me payment from when I geekmail you. If I do not receive payment within 48 hours, I will offer your game to the person below you, at the amount you bid. You will drive to Dublin, CA to pick up the game. Since you will have paid in advance, I don't really care when you get it but I have had multiple times where "local pickup" dragged out for over a month before payment was received and the game exchanged. If you do not want to pay before you receive the game and you do not want to drive to Dublin, CA. do not do "local pickup" as an option.
Most importantly - items must go through the BGG Marketplace so that they get their 3%.
I will be out of town 7/27 to 8/3. Will try to answer questions when I return.
