These are my favourite games concerning old Rome.

Republic of Rome: I love the theme of this game. The fact that you have to both compete and cooperate to win is also a great game mechanic.

Great game with lots of theme and player interaction. The six player expansion makes it even greater.
Painted models are a must.

Great tactical game. Feels a lot like fighting a miniatures battle, but with simpler rules. Especially great when played in the Epic variant with eight players.

Hannibal: I guess I’m not alone in liking this card driven game.

Very nice sister game to Circus Maximus! A bit on the fiddly side, but great theme!

Britannia: Not exactly about Rome, but it is always a nice feeling when you get to play the Romans in this game. Beautiful components.

Conquest of the Empire: Not the best balanced game there is, but still nice to play and with great looking components.

Warhammer Ancient Battles: I don't particularly care for the rules, but at least they provide a fairly straightforward and fast playing game. Note that the picture displays a supplement and not the main game rules.
