I really like games where you don't have any idea who the winner will be until you get to the final scoring and tally up the points. I like the unpredictable nature of these games.

Post games that you have played where the winner (or even the leader) is a mystery until the end.

I'm talking about games where you really can't guess at an obvious leader.

For games that are played in rounds, assume you are playing the full number of recommended rounds.

I realize that there are few games where this is really true. That's why I created this list. It's a unique and cool feature to have in a game. I think it adds to the fun of putting in your best effort right up to the end.

My experience with all of the TTR games is that I never actually know who the winner is until we count up all our points and move our scoring marker around the track at the end of the game.

I chose Marklin here because the passengers add one more level of unpredictability for me.

This is the only game in my whole collection that I could think of that I really have no idea of who might kind of be in a position to win. I think it's because anything can happen once people reveal their tickets at the end.

While I don't own this game, my experience has been that I never know who is in what position until we reveal our black bits at the end. I think that's a benefit of the player screens. I like how the hidden stuff keeps your attention on the game itself and off of potential leaders.

I think Acquire fits the bill because the stocks and bonuses are not tallied up until the game is actually declared over. Even moreso if you're playing with hidden money/holdings (which I think should be the norm).

Influence points are hidden. At the end there's still a chance that somebody has more influence over the Party Chief than the current controller.

The winner of the Presidential election is unknown until the dramatic moment at the end when the electoral votes are tallied. And, then, not even a stacked Supreme Court can change the outcome.
