The Essen 2019 no-shipping auction list. Post your own items for sale!
- Carsten StürmerGermany
Here we go.
Happy selling/bidding to everybody.
This geeklist is made available for attendees of the Internationale Spieltage SPIEL'19 (24.10. - 27.10.2019) to offer games for auction and/or bid on games offered.
All handovers (game <-> money) will take place at the fair. Hence no shipping fees will apply which will make these trades much more attractive.
However, be aware of the following:
Do only offer games you really want to sell --> keep in mind your luggage capacity as you’ll have to bring everything to Essen
Do only place bids if you are really interested in buying the game --> keep an eye on your budget.
After a successful auction do your utmost to arrange for a handover at the fair.
The majority of participants will not encounter any serious issues with their trades. However, in some rare occasions unwanted things have happened in previous years: Offers and bids might get deleted during the course of the auction or people might not show up for handover at the fair.
This is not a professional auction site and there is no way to sanction any rule violations.
By adding a game / placing a bid to this auction list you’ll accept that 'things' could happen to you and
you declare that you’ll behave and act like the decent folk we all are:
- be polite
- try to resolve any conflict by contacting each other
- any blacklisting of users is an offense against BGG etiquette and will not be tolerated but reported to BGG admins
If you think that you might have problems with this disclaimer I kindly recommend not to participate in this auction list, but to offer your games on professional platforms.
Compared to last year’s lists I’ve rewritten the rules to try to anticipate some of the more frequent questions/concerns/problems which have been encountered in the previous years.
So please take some time and read the rules carefully.
If you find something unclear/missing/etc. please let me know via GM or in the discussion thread (link in comment section).
To reduce scrolling I've reduced the header section by moving the detailed rules to the comment section at the bottom.
