How to introduce the game report list with a positive vibe after playing in four games in which I was dead last in all of them, after which I still had to go and do the shopping, get home and then make the dinner?.....well I I guess it was still more enjoyable than having to watch the Masked Singer...wtf has the world come to. That's the best I can do for positivity so anyway - Andrew B2, Jon, Bro Chris, 'Loser' Gordon, T101 James, Swagman James, Original Dan and Off-duty Dan played (well in my case sat at the table for) -

Board Game: Innovation
Board Game: Parade
Board Game: Chaosmos

Played by: Andrew, Jon, Chris and someone else to make up the numbers.

A game that is by design a one of wild swings between dishing out a kicking and then having to best survive getting kicked in return, whilst in between trying to sneak claiming 'dominance' over the eras. In this instance, after briefly flirting with being able to snatch the dominance of the 2nd era I was just on the receiving end for the rest of the game in which Andrew surged, then Chris counter surged, only for Andrew to grab the win. Jon managed a consolation 'domination', I got nothing but bruises.

Andrew = 4
Chris = 3
Jon = 1
Anon = 0

Played by: Andrew and ....the name escapes me but they lost.

Whilst Jon and Chris did a 'chip run' - this was a display of extreme dedication to the deep-fried spud given the weather outside - Andrew pinned me to the table and administers vicious paper-cuts with his deck of Parade cards - those from the Cheshire Cat went the deepest.

Andrew = 17 (?)
Whoever = Too many to count.

Played by: Chris, Jon, Andrew and 'Eddie the Eagle Seagull'

I was a bit surprised when Chris mentioned this is getting an expansion - I quite enjoyed my one play of this a couple of years back, but it didn't seem to get much love and I saw it heavily discounted at a few OLGS, but it is on KS as I type.

It's pretty good - you are all seeking the 'Ovoid' which is a means of escaping the doomed universe you are inhabiting, and can beat each other up and hide things on planets in the course of your increasingly frantic efforts to find it over just 9 turns. Lots of bluff, bluster and misdirection. I thought Andrew had it, Andrew thought I had it, Chris thought either I or Andrew had it but Jon had it all the time. My last two tries to combat Jon went the way of the rest of the day, i.e. abject failure, despite having the combat advantage - bad die rolls and having lost most of my good combat cards keeping Andrew at bay being responsible.

Winner = Jon

At least everyone else lost as badly as I did this time.

Played by: Jon, Chris, Andrew and a Star Trek red-shirt.

I think just the scores are necessary here

Andrew = 140
Chris = 104
Jon = 76 (?)
Red-Shirt = 57

I was allowed to go home after this.
