This is my 4 year old sons favourite game.

Great game for children who can count but can't read yet and who love trains.

It was playing this game over Christmas that prompted me to write this list.

This game has a big map. Almost too big. I have to get out of my chair to see what's happening at the far end of the board.

Being an ex-Avalon Hill game, the area around Glastonbury is called Avalon. It's next to the Downland hills.

Great game for 4 players with at least 4 hours to kill.

I think that this is the most attractive map on this list with the colourful heraldic shields representing the castles of the various nobles.

Great game until it degenerates into the usual Sitzkrieg.

I used to think that this was an accurate map of Britain.

The Summer 2007 edition of this game places Tewksbury in the middle of the sea.
