With the Economic Relief whatever bill recently passing, I've taken great pains to consider what, exactly, I plan on wasting...er...plan on using my money to boost the economy on.

Games, obviously, were the first thing to come to mind.

Student Loans? Nah...I'll just keep taking 6 semester hours every summer.

Credit Card Bills? Blech... Suze Orman says it's okay to keep some balance.

An Engagement Ring? Yeah, I'll put that one off for a bit longer.

So here, for you dear friends, I submit a list of the games I would (notice I said would, because I'll probably buckle under the pressure of my girlfriends nagging and spend it on something "more worthwhile"--her words, not mine) purchase with the $600 bucks the government deemed fit to give me.

To be honest, I really should probably wait until I find out what the WoW Adventure Game is. But I really am thirsting for some RPG goodness until then.

Figure I'll also throw in Sands of Al-Kalim and a few more boosters.

Total So Far (according to Thoughthammer Prices): $93.00

Not a shabby chunk of change to start out with.

Oh Power Grid, how do I want thee, let me count the ways....

I really should have picked this one up more recently, but I've been putting it off. $600 you say? Yes, I think Power Grid would fit nicely. I'll also include the Power Plant Expansion Deck and the Italy/France Map Expansion.

Total So Far (according to Thoughthammer Prices): $142.00

Wow, we're off to a great start. Two games with expansions! Nearly a cool $150. Much, much more worth it than a pair of shoes, I'd say.

I'm all about expansions, it seems. I need to pick up the Eastern Front, Pacific Theatre, Terrain Pack, and the Winter/Desert board expansions, and it seems entirely appropriate that I spend my money on war too, just like our government!

And yes, George, I think Poland would be considered in the Eastern Front set.

Total So Far (according to Thoughthammer Prices): $224.00

And we keep chuuuugggin along....

...to TTR: Europe! Switzerland is great! I love the original! And TTR:Europe would be a nice step up.

I wonder if they'll still take the US Dollar in Europe....

While we're on the idea of transportation, why not go into space for a bit?

Galaxy Trucker, though not yet available here in the States, would be a great addition to my collection.

I'll go with a conservative estimate and hope that I can get a US version when my money comes.

I want this game. I want this game a lot, actually. I've been...hesitant to buy it because of the mildew issue. Assuming that's all gone now, I'll gladly pick a copy up. Of course, I'll also throw in the Expansion Goody Bag.

Total So Far (according to Thoughthammer Prices): $359.00

I mean...who doesn't love bombing Zee Nazis!

And while we're bombing stuff, I think I'll go right ahead and get a couple (maybe 4?) Series II of the Wings of War Miniatures.

They'll look great next to my von Ricthenhof and Udet from Series I.

Total So Far (according to Thoughthammer Prices): $399.00

Wow.. Almost at $400. That leaves two options left...

Option A:

I present to you, my one and only current Grail Game: Reef Encounter, the R&D edition, with Reef Encounters of the 2nd Kind.

I want this so bad. Seems like a decent way to spend $200 bucks .

Total So Far (according to Thoughthammer Prices): $600.00!

Option B:

Flames of War. I played this game the other night for the first time and fell in love with it. I realize miniatures aren't exactly boardgames, but this game was too fun to pass up. Maybe.

$200 Bucks would get me started with a nice army, either the British Desert Rats of the 7th Armored Division, or the Screaming Eagles themselves, the 101st Airborne.

But then I'd have to paint...

Total So Far (according to Thoughthammer Prices):$600.00!
